Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 272: Feltia - Aries

”What do you want from me, succubus?” The lava demon asked her, but its body couldnʼt stop trembling under the pressure of Feltiaʼs bloodline and demon eyes. After all, a demon beast was still a beast, so her heavenly fox bloodline had a very significant impact on it.

Feltia shook her head at the lava behemoth, then summoned the demon extermination sword and pointed it at the demon beast directly. ”I donʼt need anything from you; I only want those fire demon flowers on your head to complete our mission. Thatʼs why you should let my friend pick them; otherwise, Iʼll chop your body into pieces. You shouldnʼt doubt my words, especially since my sword is truly sharp.”

The lava behemoth did not respond to Feltiaʼs words as its eyes were only fixed on the demon extermination sword, and it could feel something unusual from the sword, which put it at a crossroads, especially since whichever path it chose would lead it into death. ʼWhat should I do now? If I donʼt hand these flowers to this succubus, she will definitely kill me.

If I hand them to her, then Lord Aries will also kill me for not being able to protect them.ʼ

Seeing the lava behemoth continue to hesitate, Feltia looked up into the air at Eve, who immediately flew towards the demon beast before reaching for those fire demon flowers and picking them all at once.

*Roar*

Once it noticed Eveʼs actions, the lava behemoth instantly let out a loud roar, and it looked up at her before shooting lava from its mouth, causing her to panic.

However, Feltia immediately moved in front of the lava, cutting it in half with her demon extermination sword. She then slashed her sword towards the lava behemoth, causing a white crescent sword qi to shoot out of it. Her attack directly hit the demon beastʼs chest, leaving a fairly deep slash wound.

*Roar*

Once again, the lava behemoth let out a loud roar, but it was filled with immense pain, especially since Feltia used her light element to attack it. Despite this, she still held herself back, given that Aries had purposefully placed the beast in that area to protect those flowers, and she wished to avoid any confrontation with one of the twelve rulers.

ʼDamn it! How could such a weak attack cause me so much pain?ʼ The lava behemoth wondered as it looked down on its chest.

Feltia then aimed the demon extermination sword at the lava behemoth once more, and she used her bloodline to further suppress the demon beast, her blood-red eyes glowing brightly. ”Trust me; I am not a patient person, and I have been holding back from killing you. However, I will really kill you if you dare to attack my friend again, so you better stop your foolish action.”

”You-”

*Bam*

Before the lava behemoth could finish speaking, a huge double-edged axe slammed into the ground between them and stuck itself there, causing a strong tremor in the area, and the demon beast immediately cowered in fear once it realized that its lord had arrived.

Feltia raised her eyebrows momentarily, noting that the system did not warn her of the presence of a powerful demon as it usually did, and whispered to Eve behind her. ʼLeave now! Aries is here, and you are no match for him.ʼ

ʼBut-ʼ

ʼLeave! Take Fyr and Leora with you! Otherwise, you guys will be a burden to me!ʼ Feltia abruptly interrupted Eve as she looked at her map. She saw Aries flying towards them quickly, but she frowned when she saw Ozʼs name next to it. ʼTch! That old demon must have brought him here.ʼ

ʼBe careful!ʼ Eve swiftly swooped towards Fyr and Leora, swiftly escorting the two female demons away from the area while enlightening them about Ariesʼ arrival, causing the two to become extremely worried about Feltiaʼs condition.

On the other hand, Tessaʼs expression while still in Lava Prison also became horrified after she saw the huge double-edged axe, and her body trembled even more violently as her mouth continuously uttered incoherent words.

*Bam*

A loud explosion was heard in the place as Aries landed there, and he looked at Feltia, or more precisely, at the demon extermination sword in her hand with a serious look, especially after he saw her previous attack, which he recognized as the power of light. ”Go back to your place.”

Ariesʼs words surprised the lava behemoth, which had assumed he was about to kill it, but instead he asked it to leave. Wasting no time, the demon beast immediately burrowed into the ground again before hurriedly leaving the area, especially since its lordʼs expression was so serious, and it didnʼt want to die because it lingered there.

ʼShow his status, Mei.ʼ

ʼHmm? I donʼt need fire manipulation or anything else, but his fire immunity should be pretty handy, so I thought Iʼd mimic that from him.ʼ Feltia inwardly muttered as she nodded slightly.

”Do you still doubt my words?” Oz asked Aries as soon as he arrived at his side.

”No.” Aries responded with a shake of his head. ”This succubus is totally different from the others, but I didnʼt expect her to have the power of light, and you didnʼt tell me about it before. Doesnʼt this mean heʼs the second demon who has it besides Virgil?”

”Haha.” Oz laughed at Ariesʼs question. ”Feltia is not the second demon to possess the power of light, but she is the third to possess it.”

”The third?” After hearing Ozʼs answer, Aries frowned, especially since he knew that only Virgil the Virgo had the power of light. ”Who is the second demon to have it?”

”The white Amaris.” Ariesʼ expression turned ludicrous upon hearing the name, especially considering that he and the other rulers had been unaware of it for thousands of years. ”That little girl is indeed very cautious about her light power, and her twin sister doesnʼt know about it either. However, Iʼve been closely monitoring all of you, and it was by accident that I discovered this information.

I havenʼt taken any action against her because I attempted to forcefully extract her light power while she was asleep but was unsuccessful.

”I see.” Aries nodded in understanding and didnʼt doubt Ozʼs words one bit, especially since he had always been like that, and none of them could stop him from watching them. He then glanced back at Feltia and asked her a question. ”Where did you get your light power, little girl?”

ʼLittle girl, your ass! Iʼm a grown man, you know?ʼ Feltia grumbled in her heart, and she immediately shrugged at Aries. ”Although you are one of this realmʼs rulers and that old manʼs friend, I have no obligation to explain my abilities to you.”

”Haha!” Oz laughed as he patted Aries on the shoulder.

Ariesʼ lips twitched before he pulled his axe out of the ground and spoke to Feltia. ”Normally, if other demons spoke to me like that, I would crush them mercilessly. However, you are different from them, and this old man will definitely prevent me from killing you, so I will let it slide.”

”Even if that old man didnʼt stop you, you still wouldnʼt be able to kill me.” Aries narrowed his eyes at Feltia after she said that. ”Since you have no other business with me, I will take my leave now, as I must return to the Amaris Twinʼs sub-realm.”

”Wait!” Aries promptly stopped Feltia, causing her to frown. ”This old man has already told me some things, but I havenʼt agreed with him yet, and I came here to confirm your strength by myself before making a decision.”

”Oh?” Feltia then asked Aries. ”Honestly, I donʼt like to show off my strength and abilities, but I know that the old man is very cunning, and I also know that you wonʼt let me leave before I show them to you. So, what can I do to prove my strength to you?”

*Bam*

Aries hit his own chest before telling Feltia. ”Simple! Attack me with your full power, and I will acknowledge your strength if you can knock me back a step.”

Feltia raised her eyebrows, glanced at Oz, who immediately nodded in agreement, and then asked Aries again. ”What will you give me if I push you back more than a step?”

”Arenʼt you overconfident with your strength?” Aries turned to ask Feltia with a frown. ”I admit that you are different from other demons, but I am still one of the rulers of this realm. Even not all demon rulers can match my physical strength, let alone a demon at the viscountess rank like you.”

”Hehe.” Feltia chuckled at Ariesʼs remark. ”You are right that my demon rank is still not comparable to yours, but, as you stated before, I am different from other demons, which means I am also different from you and the other demon rulers. Although the other rulers cannot match your physical strength, I am confident in my strength, and I am confident that I can make you fly quite far in one punch.”

”Pft! Hahahaha!” Oz burst out laughing, especially since no demons dared say such a thing to Aries, including the other demon rulers. However, he did not doubt Feltia, especially since he had witnessed some of her abilities, and she did not even cower in front of his true form.

*Bam *

Aries banged the end of his axeʼs handle on the ground with an expression of holding back anger because Fletia underestimated his physical strength. ”Fine! ”If you can really send me flying from my spot, Iʼll grant you three wishes.”

”Hey, old man! You have listened to his words, so I want you to help me punish him if he dares to go back on his words.” Aries became even more irritated by that, especially since Oz also kept laughing mockingly at him. However, Feltiaʼs next action shocked him, and the second demon lord was facepalmed by it, especially since she transformed herself into his true form.

Even Tessa was frightened by the presence of two of the twelve rulers, but she was also stunned when she saw Feltia transform into the figure of the second demon lord, and her jaw dropped as her eyes watched her.

”What the fuck!” Aries exclaimed loudly as soon as he saw the figure of his long-lost leader. ”How could you transform into another demon? Moreover, the form you are using is that of the second ruler of this realm, and he has been missing for too long, so a young demon like you should not know his figure.”

”I may be young, but I know quite a lot.” Feltia replied as she landed in front of Aries and clenched her right fist. ”Are you ready to feel the power of my attack? If you are not ready, then you better get ready now, or you will definitely lose our bet.”

ʼFuck! Where did this little demon actually come from? She is so arrogant and doesnʼt respect me at all! Moreover, there was no hint of fear in her eyes, and she seemed to be looking down on me!ʼ But alas, Aries knew nothing about the heavenly fox, and the fox race was indeed very arrogant by nature. ”You donʼt have to worry about me, so you can start now.

As for my promise, I am a person who always keeps his word, and I will definitely keep my promise to you.”

Feltia immediately took a fighting stance while pulling her right arm back, and she used soul-connect to borrow the power of Boitata, who had been sent into the beast space by her original body. Luckily, Aries and Oz didnʼt know anything about cultivators or cultivation techniques, so neither of them realized that her strength had increased drastically thanks to it. ”Get ready!”

”Do it!” Activating her light element instantly, Feltia delivered a powerful punch to Ariesʼs stomach, causing him to bend forward. The intense pain in his stomach was a result of her light elementʼs effects, and a second later, she sent him flying from his position. ”Argh!”

*Swoosh*

However, Aries immediately stabilized himself before landing on the ground; he staggered backwards before stomping his feet to the ground to stop himself, and he immediately held his stomach while screaming. ”Her attack is so fucking painful, Zygoz! Iʼve never felt this kind of pain before!”

Unlike Oz, who had already expected the outcome, Tessaʼs eyes widened after she witnessed it, especially since Ariesʼ strength was equal to her twin rulers, but Feltia was able to send him flying so far with just one punch.

Feltia immediately reverted to her original form, canceled the soul-connect, and then asked Aries a question. ”Do you still doubt my power now?”
