Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 288: Chu Youqianʼs Suffering

Zhang Chen unhesitantly swallowed the youthful returning pill, and Zhang Fei held her hand while circulating his qi into her body, helping her to dissolve and spread the effects of the pill throughout her body.

After a few minutes, Zhang Chen felt her body start to warm up from the inside, and she felt that her body was undergoing something unusual, which made her feel a little uncomfortable.

”Why do I feel like something strange is happening to my body, Feiʼer?” Zhang Chen asked her grandson as she looked down, but her expression turned surprised when a transparent light enveloped her body, revealing that her wrinkled skin was slowly becoming firm again, and even the spots on her skin were gradually disappearing. ”Whatʼs happening to me? Why is my body slowly becoming younger?”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed softly and explained it to her grandmother. ”The pill you just swallowed is the youthful returning pill, and its effects are indeed the ones you are experiencing now, so I specially bought it for you. Very soon, you will be young and beautiful again, just like when you were young.”

”Huh?” Zhang Chen looked up at Zhang Fei and stared at him with astonishment, especially since the pillʼs effect was so magical. Even modern medical equipment on earth would not be able to bring back her youth, which had passed so long ago.

Zhang Fei let out a soft sigh before speaking to Zhang Chen again. ”Grandma, I know that you have a lot of questions about me, but I canʼt tell you and the others anything for now. However, I promise that I will tell you everything after I become the strongest, and no one can defeat me anymore.”

Although she was still a rookie cultivator, Zhang Chen was not stupid, and she could understand the meaning behind her grandmotherʼs words, so she gave a nod of understanding. ”All right, I will wait for you to become the strongest, and you must tell us everything at that time.”

”Donʼt worry, I wonʼt break my promise, and I will definitely reveal everything at that time.” Zhang Fei felt a sense of relief in his heart, particularly because he had always harbored guilt towards Zhang Chen and the others for concealing Meiʼs existence and the system from them, but he was forced to keep them in secret for their own good.

”How long will this process take to complete?”

”Are you looking forward to seeing your youthful appearance again?” Zhang Chen answered Zhang Fei with a smile. ”Actually, I personally donʼt know how long the process of restoring your youth will take, so we can only wait for now.

This second pill is the beauty retaining pill, and you will never age again after you swallow it, so you will stay young for the rest of your life, but this pill will not affect your lifespan. Therefore, you should continue to improve your cultivation to increase your lifespan, ensuring we can live together for a very long time.

”I see.” Zhang Chen nodded in understanding. ”I myself want to see your children and your descendants after them, and I will educate them to be good people in the future, so I will try harder to improve my cultivation.”

Zhang Fei smiled wryly at that, especially since he himself still had not thought about having children because he was still too weak, and he still could not free Hu Yue from Hu Gaoʼs shackles, yet his grandmother had already thought so far ahead to his descendants after his children.

Meanwhile, at the Ying Clan, Sun Meiʼer wept uncontrollably in her room, clutching a broken jade, a symbol of Ying Xiaoʼs life, indicating that her son had died.

Even though she was devastated about it, Sun Meiʼer immediately contacted her husband, who was on his way to the western region, as well as her daughter, who was a disciple of the Yin-Yang Pavilion. Beside them, she also contacted her parents in the Sun Clan to inform them of Ying Xiaoʼs death, and she ordered everyone from the Ying Clan to search for his corpse.

Sun Meiʼer then stood up from her seat, walked over to her sonʼs painting that was hanging on the side of the room, and picked it up while rubbing his face. ”What exactly happened to you, Son? You told me that you went to meet Chu Youqian at the inn, but you suddenly died, and I donʼt even know where you died.”

A short while later, two women hurriedly entered Sun Meiʼerʼs room while holding hands. One of them has short and curly black hair above her shoulders, making her look a little tomboyish, and her face is just ordinary. Her body is quite curvy, and her breasts, which are around the C-Cup, are neither small nor big.

In contrast to the first woman, the second woman had a slightly more attractive face and a slimmer, taller physique. She has waist-length brunette hair in two braids, and her appearance is quite sexy when she wears a dress that is quite open in some parts, exposing her flat abdomen. Even her breasts are a bit bigger around D-Cup.

The first woman was none other than Sun Meiʼerʼs daughter, Ying Sha, one of the Yin-Yang Pavilionʼs top 10 inner disciples. On the other hand, the second woman was her partner and lover, Hong Xuan, one of the top 10 core disciples.

Ying Sha immediately sat down beside Sun Meiʼer, who was still crying, and hugged her with both hands. ”Mom, I know you are sad about my big brotherʼs death, and I feel the same way too. However, you should calm yourself down first and explain to us his activities before he died. What did he do before? Or where did he go before?

That way, we can analyze everything together, and we might be able to find his corpse faster.”

”At first, Xiaoʼer was cultivating in his room, but he told me that Chu Youqian contacted him and asked for his help, so he went to the inn to meet her.” Ying Sha and Hong Xuan exchanged glances after hearing the name, and they naturally recognized her, but they were confused about her relationship with Yang Xiao.

”However, I didnʼt have time to ask him about her purpose, especially since he left in such a hurry.”

Ying Sha then stood up, lifting her mother to her feet. ”Since my big brother went to see Chu Youqian at the inn, it would be better if we went there to meet her, and we could ask her purpose for asking my brother to help her. That way, weʼll know where he went next, and weʼll look for him there.”

”All right.”

Sometime later, the three women arrived at the inn where Chu Youqian was staying, but they saw a commotion inside, and they could also smell a pungent smell from inside.

”Whatʼs going on here? Where does this pungent smell come from?”

One of them immediately turned to Ying Sha. ”Young Miss Ying, this pungent smell comes from the room of a guest who just arrived some time ago. If Iʼm not mistaken, her name is Chu Youqian; she is the young miss of the Chu Clan, specifically the Chu Clan in the eastern region.

At first, there was nothing unusual about her, but suddenly, we smelled a foul odor emanating from her room, accompanied by her hysterical screams, which frightened us. Some of us tried to check her room, but the smell got worse in there, so we decided not to.”

The three women exchanged glances with frowns, and Sun Meiʼer took out an artifact that immediately enveloped the three of them. ”Letʼs go; we have to check on Chu Youqianʼs condition now, or weʼll be too late, and we canʼt get any answers about Xiaoʼer.”

The innkeeper was relieved to see the three of them go to the upper floors, as the pungent smell had become unbearable for them, and some of his customers had even cancelled their rooms due to it.

Before long, the three of them arrived in front of the room, and Sun Meiʼer immediately broke down the door. However, their expressions turned to shock upon seeing Chu Youqian, particularly due to her complete nakedness and messy appearance.

Moreover, Chu Youqianʼs body was covered in purulent carbuncles and scratches, including her face, especially since she kept scratching her body because of the itchiness, which was due to the effect of the two powders that Zhang Fei had used on her earlier.

The tianhua powder caused those purulent carbuncles to appear on Chu Youqianʼs body, and some of them were partially busted, giving off a pungent smell. On the other hand, the ciyang power made her experience a severe itching sensation all over her body, making her unable to stop scratching her body.

Chu Youqian turned to the three women and shouted at them. ”Help me! Please help me!”

Instead, Ying Sha asked Chu Youqian. ”What did you do to my brother? Where is he now? Did you kill him?”

”What?” Chu Youqian shouted in shock as she kept scratching her body. ”I didnʼt kill Ying Xiao! I just asked him to deliver a letter to Shen Haoran, and he had already gone to the sect a while ago!”

”Shen Haoran?” The three women exchanged confused looks, especially since they knew that it was not easy to meet him, and they were also confused about the reason Chu Youqing asked Ying Xiao to deliver the letter to him.

”What exactly happened? Why did you ask my son to send a letter to Shen Haoran?” With a serious expression, Sun Meiʼer asked and released her aura to suppress Chu Youqin, particularly since her son had died as a result of carrying out her request.

Chu Youqian trembled after sensing the pressure from Sun Meiʼerʼs aura, but she still thought of making up a story for them. ”I did it because of that damn Zhang Fei! I met him by accident, and although we had never met before, he continued to harass and even molest me.

After I escaped from him and returned to my sect, I heard news that Shen Yu was having an affair with him, so I came here to see Shen Tianyu. Unfortunately, I couldnʼt contact him, so I thought of seeing Shen Haoran. However, I remembered that he was a pervert and often forced women to serve him, so I didnʼt dare to meet him in person, and I asked Ying Xiao to send him a letter instead.”

Ying Sha and Hong Xuan were shocked to hear that, but they did not believe that Shen Yu was having an affair with Zhang Fei, especially since they both knew for sure that she was still in seclusion until now.

Sun Meiʼer then asked the two women. ”Who exactly is Zhang Fei? Do you both know him?”

Both women nodded to Sun Meiʼer, and Ying Sha explained it to her mother. ”Actually, I have never met Zhang Fei in person, but I heard that he joined our sect about a month and a half ago as an outer disciple. However, he was promoted to an inner disciple about a month ago, and he now has several partners by his side.

Even so, he and his partners almost never stay in the sect, and they keep leaving to carry out many missions at once. Even some other disciples, such as Lin Dongʼer and Mu Lingshu, joined his partners. Besides, I heard rumors that he is the son-in-law of Matriarch Liu Rong, but I cannot confirm whether it is true or not.”

As she continued to scratch her itchy body, Chu Youqian spoke to them again. ”Thatʼs right! Zhang Fei is indeed Liu Rongʼs son-in-law, especially since Liu Hua is his wife. In addition to her, my two cousins, Chu Ying and Chu Qing, are also his wives. I heard about their relationship from Chu Xing, so it must be true.”

Chu Youqianʼs revelation shocked the three women, particularly because the Chu and Liu Clans were significantly stronger than their combined Ying, Sun, and Hong Clans. Despite this, Zhang Fei managed to marry three women from both clans.

”Iʼve told you all the truth, so please help me to relieve this shit!”

Sun Meiʼer let out a soft sigh before moving in front of Chu Youqian, and she knocked her unconscious because she couldnʼt stop scratching her body, causing those purulent carbuncles to burst one by one and emitting a pungent smell.

Sun Meiʼer then contacted her clanʼs physician to come to the inn to check on Chu Youqian. She also contacted a member of the eastern Chu Clan who lived in the southern river city, informing them to pick her up.

”Letʼs go; let them take care of this girl, and we will look for Xiaoʼer in the area around the Yin-Yang Pavilion.” Both women nodded in agreement, and they hurriedly followed Sun Meiʼer out of the room.

After Sun Meiʼer After explaining the situation to the innkeeper, the three of them hurriedly flew to the Yin-Yang Pavilion. However, they did not go to the sect, and they searched for Ying Xiaoʼs corpse in the outside area.
