Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 289: Return To Earth

Naturally, the three women couldnʼt find Ying Xiaoʼs corpse anywhere, especially since Zhang Fei had already burned it to ashes, which made Sun Meiʼer feel desperate, and her tears flowed down once again. ”Where... where is Xiaoʼerʼs corpse? Weʼve checked the entire area, but we still canʼt find his corpse.”

Ying Sha sighed heavily and hugged her mother, who started crying again while rubbing her back. She then asked her partner a question. ”Do you think Shen Haoran or Zhang Fei killed my brother?”

”Although his character is not good, I believe that Shen Haoran would not possibly kill your brother.” Hong Xuan then contacted Min Ren, who was responsible for maintaining the mission hall, and inquired about Zhang Fei. ”Anyway, Elder Min told me that Zhang Fei left our sect about three weeks ago, and he still hasnʼt returned, so I donʼt think he killed your brother.”

Hong Xuanʼs words made Ying Sha frown. ”Does that mean Chu Youqian deliberately lied to us?”

”Thatʼs possible.” Hong Xuan replied with a nod. ”Honestly, Iʼve never liked Chu Youqian, especially since sheʼs too arrogant and jealous, and Iʼve heard from my friends in the Hidden Sea Palace about her bad behavior, especially her attitude towards her junior sisters.

Even her relationship with her cousin was never good, even though they were both descendants of Senior Chu Liuxiang and joined the same sect. Furthermore, we both know that Zhang Fei has so many partners, and most of them are prettier than her, like Du Xuan and Ning Xiang. In addition, she told us before that he was the son-in-law of Matriarch Liu Rong, and two of her cousins were also his wives.

Thatʼs why I didnʼt believe her when she claimed that he harassed and molested her, but Iʼm not sure why she lied to us.”

After hearing Hong Xuanʼs words, Sun Meiʼer immediately spoke to her daughter. ”You can ask Wei Luan about this matter; Iʼm sure she knows something about Chu Youqianʼs purpose in lying to us. Aside from that, you can also ask Chu Xing about Zhang Feiʼs relationship with the Liu and Chu Clans.”

Ying Sha nodded to her mother and sent a voice transmission directly to the two women, but their response made her frown even more, prompting her to inform them immediately. ”Luanʼer told me that Chu Youqian has never met Zhang Fei, so he couldnʼt possibly do such a thing to her.

Regardless, she harbored jealousy towards his younger sister, Zhang Lin, because she possessed a pretty beast contract, and that woman wanted to snatch it from her. As for his relationship with the Liu and Chu Clans, Chu Xing confirmed that he was indeed the son-in-law of both clans because Liu Hua, Chu Ying, and Chu Qing were his wives.”

Both women also frowned after knowing Chu Youqianʼs reason for lying to them. With doubt on her face, Hong Xuan questioned Ying Sha. ”Did you ask them about Zhang Fei and Shen Yuʼs relationship?”

”Yes.” Ying Sha nodded to her lover. ”Luanʼer told me that she didnʼt know anything about it, and Chu Xing also said that she had never heard of her brother-in-lawʼs relationship with Shen Yu, so I donʼt know whether their relationship is true or not.

Actually, their answers made me think that Chu Youqian deliberately made up a story about their relationship, and she wanted to take advantage of Shen Haoran and Shen Tianyu doing something to Zhang Fei, so she could do something to Zhang Lin and her contract beast.”

”Yeah, I thought the same as you.” Hong Xuan replied while nodding in agreement. ”As far as I know, Shen Yu has never left her seclusion since she returned from the Blazing Volcano Mountain, so I donʼt believe that she knows Zhang Fei, let alone having an affair with him.”

Unfortunately, Hong Xuan was wrong about it, especially since she did not know that Blazing Volcano Mountain was the place where Shen Yu and Zhang Fei first met.

”Mom, I think it would be better if we returned to our clan first and let our people search for my brotherʼs corpse.” However, Sun Meiʼer seemed to still want to search for Ying Xiaoʼs corpse, especially since she would not be able to rest easy before finding him. Therefore, Ying Sha spoke to her again. ”Mom, I understand your feelings, as I myself also want to find his corpse immediately.

However, we have searched every area, but we have not been able to find him, so let our people look elsewhere. Furthermore, you have contacted your clan, and they will be here soon. Given their large numbers, I am sure they will be able to find him soon.”

Sun Meiʼer sighed heavily before nodding in agreement. ”Moreover, your father is on his way home, so I will wait for him to return before continuing our search.”

”Shaʼer! Aunt Meiʼer! You two can go back first, and Iʼll go back to the sect to check something.”

After the two women agreed, the three of them immediately parted ways, and the two women returned to the Ying Clan to wait for Ying Feng.

On the other hand, Hong Xuan immediately entered the Yin-Yang Pavilion and went to the tower to look for Shen Yu, but Shen Xueyiʼs confidants stopped her and told her that she was focusing on breaking through, so no one could see her.

Zhang Chen stood in front of the mirror in a daze, as her eyes kept staring at her reflection in the mirror and her hands kept stroking her face, which had become young again.

Zhang Fei then hugged his grandmother from behind. ”Do you like the pillʼs effects, Grandma? Look at you; you now look like a woman of Linʼerʼs age, and people will definitely think that you are our sister.”

”I like it very much, Feiʼer.” However, Zhang Chen was astounded by her own voice, particularly because it was no longer as hoarse as before, indicating that not only her appearance but her entire body had rejuvenated. ”Your pill is incredibly magical, and everyone, especially Hanzi, will definitely be shocked when they see me later.”

”Ha ha.” Zhang Fei laughed before putting the beauty retaining pill in his grandmotherʼs mouth, which she immediately swallowed. Unlike before, Zhang Chen didnʼt feel anything happening to her body, but she believed that the effects of the pill were as her grandson had told her before. ”Speaking of Aunt Hanzi, where did you find her, Grandma? Who are her biological parents?”

Upon hearing this, Zhang Chen turned to Zhang Fei and relayed the information. ”Hanzi is my friendʼs daughter, and her mother died shortly after giving birth because she suffered heavy bleeding during childbirth.

As for her father, Lei Jun, Iʼm unsure of his current location, but he suffered a mental breakdown following the death of his wife, leading his family to repeatedly send him to mental hospitals. Consequently, he was unable to care for her, and both of her parentsʼ grandparents had passed away.

As for her parentsʼ families, they were reluctant to care for her, but since my life was much better when she was born, I decided to adopt her.”

”Does Aunt Hanzi know about this matter?”

”Yes.” Zhang Chen nodded at Zhang Fei. ”Not only Hanzi, but also your parents are aware of this matter, but I have forbidden them from discussing it. Even though I consider her my biological daughter, she still has the right to know about everything, so I revealed everything to her once she grew up.

At first, she was shocked to learn that she was not my biological daughter, but she finally accepted it after I explained her parentsʼ situation to her. She had even repeatedly searched for her fatherʼs whereabouts, but she still had not succeeded in finding him.”

”Donʼt worry, I will help Aunt Hanzi find her father, and I will help cure him if he is still alive in such a condition.” Zhang Fei then took Zhang Chenʼs hand and asked Mei to open the gate to earth. ”I will take you back to earth now, but we will go straight to shopping to buy a lot of new clothes for you. After all, you are young again now, so you canʼt possibly wear your old clothes anymore.”

”All right.”

Moments later, they had arrived on earth, and it was already night there, so Zhang Fei took his grandmother to the best shopping mall in the city.

Although she had become young again, she was still an old woman who had many grandchildren, so Zhang Chen felt embarrassed to walk around the shopping mall with his young grandson, and the men also kept staring at her in fascination.

Zhang Fei smiled amusingly at his grandmotherʼs awkwardness, so he pulled Zhang Chen closer and hugged her waist to make her more comfortable. This action made the people present feel jealous of him, but he couldnʼt care less about them.

Zhang Fei then took his grandmother to some of the best clothing stores, and he allowed Zhang Chen to choose clothes that fit his taste. Even so, she always asks for his opinion on every outfit she chooses, especially since she doesnʼt understand the style of todayʼs youth.

Zhang Fei himself was not a man who thought too much about style, and he preferred to wear simple clothes, so he also chose for Zhang Chen some clothes that he thought suited him.

After they bought some clothes, and Zhang Chen had already worn one of them, Zhang Fei immediately took his grandmother to look for other items, such as hats, shoes, and several other items.

Zhang Chen herself really enjoyed her grandsonʼs company and attention, especially since they had never done such activities with her before due to her old age, so she really enjoyed their time.

Not only that, Zhang Fei also brought his grandmother to enjoy various snacks that she had never eaten before, and they spent a lot of time like lovers, with Zhang Chen always hugging his arm while occasionally resting her head on his shoulder.

After they spent so long in the shopping mall, Zhang Fei took his grandmother to leave the place. ”Itʼs getting late, so Iʼll take you to Beijing now, but weʼll go to the Wang House tomorrow morning, Grandma.”

”Feiʼer-”

”Are you hesitant to meet Wang Zetian, Grandma?” Zhang Chen nodded at Zhang Fei. ”You donʼt have to hesitate anymore, okay? Iʼm with you, and Iʼll protect you, so they wonʼt be able to do anything to you. Otherwise, your feelings will never settle down, and youʼll keep thinking about him for the rest of your life.”

Zhang Chen sighed softly and nodded to him. ”All right, letʼs go to Beijing right now.”

When he heard that, Zhang Fei immediately hugged Zhang Chen, led her to a quiet place, and used his Nine Cloud Steps to take her away to Beijing.

Since the distance from their city to Beijing was not as far as the cities in the Sky Jade Realm, they had already arrived in the city in a few minutes, and Zhang Fei immediately took his grandmother to the best hotel in the city.

At first, Zhang Fei wanted to rent two rooms, but Zhang Chen forbade him and asked him to rent only one room. He chose to follow his grandmotherʼs wishes.

When they arrived at their room, Zhang Fei asked his grandmother to rest, and he himself immediately floated to the highest point in the hotel via the balcony.

Zhang Fei then opened his map and searched for the location of the Wang familyʼs residence, and he had no difficulty finding them. After that, he tried to find the location of Zhang Hanziʼs father, Lei Jun. Unfortunately, the countryʼs population was too large, so he had difficulty finding him.

Zhang Fei decided to get in touch with Huang Rong, Hong Yao, and Yang Luʼer, but the three women welcomed him with complaints, particularly because he hadnʼt been back to Earth for more than a week and they were sorely missing him.

In the end, Zhang Fei asked the three women to gather at Yang Luʼerʼs penthouse tomorrow, and he also asked her to invite Zhou Ling and the others to join them.

However, Yang Luʼer told him that Tang Ziyu still hadnʼt returned, and she seemed to have disappeared into thin air, which made the people from her agency panic, especially since she also deliberately turned off her phone.

After the three women agreed to help him find Lei Junʼs whereabouts, Zhang Fei immediately searched for Tang Ziyuʼs location on his map, and it was not a big deal for him, especially since they had sex before, so her location was marked with a golden dot like his wivesʼ locations. ”Japan, huh? I didnʼt expect Ziyu to be hiding there; no wonder they couldnʼt find her.

Since that wind weasel beast resides in that country, Iʼll go there now to catch it and meet her at the same time.”

After closing the map, Zhang Fei immediately returned to the hotel room to tell his grandmother about Tang Ziyu and the wind weasel. Their relationship surprised her, especially since Tang Ziyu was one of her idol actresses and she really enjoyed her movies. Consequently, Zhang Chen asked him to pick her up immediately.
