Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1892: Chapter 1894: I’m All Yours Today

The arrival of Qi Fenglian’s family meant the disappearance of quietness, followed by a lot of commotion.

This is the first time Elder Sister has come, so surely she’ll want to look around, right? But by the time they arrived, several days had already passed since the new year, and the sixth day was Qi Taiguo’s last day in Guangcheng.

The days Qi Taiguo stayed in Guangcheng were too short, just a few days. Cheng Su felt the time flew by so quickly, and she hadn’t spent enough time with Qi Taiguo.

So she didn’t want to waste this little time; she wanted to spend it with just the two of them, so she declined the schedule to accompany Elder Sister and them sightseeing, letting the two younger brothers and sisters accompany them instead.

Qi Fenglian, aware that her younger brother would be returning to the army tomorrow, also blamed herself for coming at the wrong time. The family didn’t have much time together, so she thought staying at home, sitting together and chatting would be nice; even Mother Qi thought so.

After all, they were not in Qing City now, and Qi Taiguo was stationed in the army in Zhu City, so it was difficult to see each other often.

But Qi Fengping and the others knew what the sister-in-law and the others were thinking, so they insisted on taking everyone out to wander and play, not even sparing Qi Xiaoqi, allowing Cheng Su and her big brother to have some alone time.

Qi Xiaoqi didn’t want to go out, looking at Cheng Su expectantly, saying he would rather go to the Cheng family home to accompany the old man and look at Uncle Three’s antiques.

Cheng Su agreed to his request, and once the family went out, she and Qi Taiguo took Qi Xiaoqi to the Cheng family home, left their son there, and slipped away together.

”Finally, we have some time alone!” Qi Taiguo said, holding Cheng Su’s hand.

Cheng Su wasn’t very enthusiastic: ”Yeah!”

As her partner, how could Qi Taiguo not know her mood? Just by listening, he could hear her loneliness.

”Why are you suddenly unhappy?” Qi Taiguo asked, looking at her.

Cheng Su glanced at him, lowered her head, and said, ”Today is your last day at home with us. You’ll be leaving tomorrow!”

Qi Taiguo felt a pang in his heart and deliberately teased her: ”Seeing you like this, anyone would think I raised a pair of kids, two babies!”

”What?”

”Aren’t you acting like a whiny baby now?” Qi Taiguo pinched her cheek and said.

Cheng Su gave him a sideways glance: ”Annoying, I’m obviously sad.”

”Isn’t there a saying that farewells are for the next reunion? Don’t be sad, we’ll reunite again!” Qi Taiguo said.

It would have been better if he hadn’t said that, but when he did, Cheng Su felt even more depressed and saddened, and suddenly hugged his waist, burying her head against his chest and nuzzling.

She couldn’t bear to part!

”Alright, alright,” Qi Taiguo embraced her and said, ”In the streets, hugging like this doesn’t look right; people will joke about you!”

”Let them laugh, am I breaking any laws by hugging my husband?” Cheng Su muttered.

”But we can’t just stand here hugging; our time is limited,” Qi Taiguo reminded her, saying, ”Even though I love you hugging me, it’s cold out here, and we can’t do much.”

The implication...

Cheng Su pushed him away, giving him a glare.

Qi Taiguo laughed, stroked her face, and asked, ”Today, I’m all yours. It’s just the two of us now; tell me, where do you want to play? I’ll accompany you!”

Cheng Su shook her head and said, ”I don’t want to go anywhere; I just want to quietly be with you!”

No matter how lively it is outside, it can’t compare to the two of them quietly staying at home. Not saying anything is fine, as long as they’re together.

”Then let’s go home!” Qi Taiguo said, taking her hand and walking toward home.
