Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 197: ”Defenders” and ”Queens”

”Hey, hey, hey! Thatʼs not true, is it?” — Idan asked himself as he reread the headline of the article over and over again.

Only after a few seconds, having made sure that this was not a figment of his imagination, did he finally click on the link.

The more he read, the more he frowned. The article was mostly just the authorʼs assumptions. The fact that Irene and Arslan were seen together did not mean that they were having an affair. However, the author expressed various guesses that were not supported by evidence.

It was more like the yellow press.

How could his sister, who almost hated rich and powerful families, start dating a descendant of such a family?

Idan just shook his head, thinking that everything that was written here was just nonsense.

Then I started reading other news further.

But as he surfed the Web, the more he came across other articles about Irene and Arslanʼs relationship, it started to make him a little nervous.

Idan understood very well that there is no smoke without fire.

”Maybe these two are really dating?” — this thought occurred to Idan after a series of almost identical articles that had different publication dates, and not at the same time.

”Hey Belle, are you there?” Through a mental link, Idan called Arabel.

”Yes, here. And what?” Arabel answered quickly.

”You can come to my room, thereʼs something to discuss.” He asked Arabel to come into his room to discuss the rumors about his older sister and Arabelʼs younger brother.

”Hmm... good. Wait a bit, okay?” she replied.

”Okay, Iʼm waiting...” Agreed Idan, continuing to surf the Web.

Soon there was a knock on his door.

”Itʼs open!” shouted Idan.

Arabel opened the door and entered his room, dressed in new clothes and without her ghost mask. Idan immediately noticed that Arabel had applied makeup for the first time in months, and now she looked absolutely gorgeous in her new clothes and in her real appearance.

Idan just froze, mesmerized by her beauty.

Esma looked out of the door, holding her smartphone in her hands, filming what was happening on video. Of course, the surprised look of Idan in his handsome blond hair got into the frame.

Although Arabel was pleased with Idanʼs reaction, she didnʼt like his new look.

It was only then that Idan came to his senses and, noticing Esma, immediately warned her.:

”Donʼt you dare post this online!”

”I know, I know, my sister has already warned me!” replied Esma.

Arabel had already warned her not to post photos of her without a mask online, because she could be identified through it.

Arabel also didnʼt miss the opportunity to say that even if she didnʼt post it, there was a chance that people could hack into her phone and steal all her data, including all her photos.

Of course, this surprised Esma, and like an obedient sister, she wanted to delete everything she had taken, but Arabel stopped her.

Arabel asked not to post her and Idanʼs photos online without a mask. She left everything else to chance.

The couple wasnʼt going to hide forever. Sooner or later, they will take off their masks.

It took Idan a moment to figure out why Arabel looked so unhappy, but after Esmaʼs prompting, he realized the reason. Knowing that there was no one in the room, he took off his mask, revealing his real appearance.

When Arabel saw Idan without the mask, her mood improved noticeably. However, despite this, she couldnʼt get used to his new cute appearance. Instead of accepting him, she began to feel some dislike.

”Why did you call me?” she asked, finally regaining her composure.

Idan, in turn, couldnʼt help but admire her beauty.

”Ah? Ah, here!” he exclaimed, grabbing his new smartphone with the desired article open on it, and handed it to Arabel.

Arabel curiously took the smartphone from Idanʼs hands and, after reading the headline, almost dropped it, but at the last moment she held it in her hands.

Her eyes expressed surprise and some shock.

”Is that true?” she asked Idan.

”I donʼt know for sure, — Idan replied with a shrug. ”But there are a lot of rumors on the web about this topic, and their dates are different.”

When she heard this, she was very surprised. Of course, like Idan, she started to get a little nervous.

”Besides that, I found out that they both founded their guilds separately,” Idan said of what he learned while reading all these articles about his older sister and Arabelʼs younger brother.

”Really?” Although Arabel was prepared for this, she was still surprised to learn that her brother had founded his own guild.

”Yes, your brother founded the ”Defenders” Guild, but my sister founded the ”Queens” Guild, — Idan replied.

Arabel, upon hearing this, could only blink her beautiful eyes, unable to utter a word.

”Yes, my sister, unlike your brother, has created a Guild exclusively for women!” said Idan in surprise. He himself was struck by his sisterʼs radical approach. After all, her sister didnʼt hate men. Why did she decide to create such an unusual Guild?

”Queens?” Arabel asked, looking at Idan. He nodded in the affirmative.

Noticing Idanʼs nod, Arabel pulled out all the business cards they had received from the representatives of the various Guilds at the entrance of the Awakened Association today.

”I think she was one of them,” Arabel said, studying the cards carefully.

”What? Really?” — Idan was extremely surprised.

”I canʼt say for sure, but I think I saw this name today when I was collecting business cards!” Arabel wasnʼt sure herself, as she didnʼt pay much attention to the names of all the guilds.

”Here! I found it!” she exclaimed, pointing to a business card from the Queens Guild.

”Oh, I have one too!” exclaimed Esma, taking out the business card of the Queens Guild.

”What should I do? Should I call?” Arabel asked, holding the card in her hand.

Idan thought about it. It was the first and only lead at the moment that could lead them to his older sister. He understood that if they continued their search, they might discover other ways to communicate with Irene and Arslan. However, after getting this chance, Idan decided to at least try and find out more information.

Good. Letʼs call and find out if Irene is really the Guild leader!” said Idan Arabel.

Sighing, Arabel took out her smartphone and dialed the number listed on the business card.

”Yes!” — after a few rings, someone answered the call.

”Um... this is Ar... ah, Isabella White! I received a business card from a representative of the Queenʼs Guild today!” said Arabel excitedly, stammering a little.

”Ah! Itʼs you! Have you decided to join the Guild?” the other party asked happily, recognizing Arabel as one of the two girls.

”Weʼre still thinking about it,” Arabel replied quickly. ”We wanted to clarify some information!”

”Yes, Iʼm listening! Iʼll be happy to share it!” Although the other party was a little disappointed that these girls hadnʼt decided to join their Guild yet, she was still glad to see their interest, which gave hope for their recruitment.

”We wanted to know if Irene Fein is really the leader of the Queens Guild?” Arabel asked, asking a question that worried her.

”Yes, our Guild Leaderʼs name is Irene Fein!” the other party confirmed.

”Is that true?” — Arabel asked with undisguised joy, unable to contain her excitement. She was very pleased to learn something about Idanʼs older sister.

”Yes, itʼs true!” the other side confirmed upon hearing the girlʼs enthusiastic question.

”Can we talk or meet her in person?” Arabel asked, noticing Idan signaling her to continue.

There was silence, but after a few seconds, the other party finally answered:

”Iʼm sorry, but the Leader is currently unable to talk or meet with anyone due to personal reasons!”

This time it was Arabelʼs turn to remain silent, unable to find the right words.
