Chapter 179: Private territory

None of those present ignored Sierraʼs warnings about how dangerous information about the ”Throne” could be.

Everyone realized that not only Nemo, but they themselves, being associated with him, would be in danger. Therefore, it is in their best interests to keep their mouths shut.

Sierra, seeing that her words had an effect and everyone realized the gravity of the situation, nodded contentedly and thought about it.

If it wasnʼt for her connection to the couple from another world and her curiosity about Arabelʼs bloodline, she would never have been in the middle of the action and received such important information. She looked at Nemo with a complicated expression on her face.

Then she shook her head. As long as she doesnʼt leave this damn place, she doesnʼt have to worry about it. Fortunately, this place not only cut off all connections with the outside world, but also made it impossible to establish a connection with the Bloodline Domain.

Remembering this important point, Sierra looked at Nemo with some bewilderment. It was obvious that she and Esma had lost their connection to the Bloodline Domain as soon as they arrived here. But then how did Nemo try to establish a connection with his raceʼs Bloodline Domain? Were the rumors that the Rain Clan was cursed precisely because of the peculiarity of their Bloodline Domain true?

While Sierra was concentrating on this question, Nemo finally shared what had been bothering him all this time.

He talked about the key that would help him leave Limbo, and that this key could teleport only himself and no one else. And that only by advancing in the trial would he be able to help someone else leave Limbo.

Hearing this, Eulalia and Arabel lost heart. However, Idan frowned slightly and fell into thought.

Nemo didnʼt know what to say next.

Before Arabel could ask a question, Idan stopped her by shaking his head. By this point, he had already roughly grasped the essence of what was happening.

Arabel, stopped by Idan, looked at him questioningly, but instead of answering, Idan turned to her through a mental link.:

”Iʼll explain everything later!”

Trusting Idan, Arabel didnʼt ask any questions and didnʼt bother Nemo.

Geminia suddenly appeared and called Nemo, ”Now the Forest of Doppelgangers is your territory! This news has already spread throughout Limbo, and a lot of people will be pouring in soon! What are you going to do next?”

Yes, it all fell on Nemo too suddenly. No one expected that the entire Forbidden Zone would become someoneʼs territory, and no one knew what advantages it offered.

”I need time to get the information from the crystal,” Nemo finally said.

”As for the guests!” said Nemo, lost in thought. Then, looking at Geminia, he asked:

”Do you still have power over the Forest?”

Geminia nodded in response, ”Yes! In general, nothing has changed, except that I have come under your authority and will follow your orders.”

These words stunned everyone, leaving them speechless and wide-eyed. How could it be that such a powerful being was under Nemoʼs control?

”How is that possible?” Esma blurted out.

However, her question was ignored.

”What about the doppelgangers?” asked Nemo.

”The entire Forbidden Zone now belongs to you as your territory. All living beings connected to this zone have become part of your power, but only within its boundaries. As before, they cannot leave the Forbidden Zone.”

Esma exclaimed, finally realizing that Nemoʼs power was limited only by the Forbidden Zone. If not for that, he would have the power to change Limbo.

”What about the reset?” asked Arabel.

”As before, the Forbidden Zone will constantly change its location, but the Temple will no longer leave it. The entire clearing, like the three cities of Limbo, will be protected by a dome, and the changes will not affect it. However, unlike the three cities, it will move along with the Forbidden Zone.”

”Oh, oh!” they all blurted out when they realized that Nemo had his own safe territory, and a mobile one at that.

”Then donʼt let anyone in, starting from the middle layer. First, warn them that this is a Forbidden Zone, already a private territory, and that no one is welcome here!” Nemo decided. Apart from Milica and those who were here, no one was particularly dear to him, so he did not want to deal with others.

”Hehe, good!” — Geminia laughed and happily agreed.

”Thanks to you, the kids are no longer limited to the Central Layer, itʼs time for them to have some fun,” Geminia added. Everyone immediately understood who Geminia was talking about, except for Sierra and Esma, who did not immediately realize her words.

They have already begun to feel sorry for anyone who violates the boundary of the middle layer.

Somewhere in the distance, a strange building began to tremble with excitement!

Then the building began to collapse, and its parts crumbled to the ground. These fragments turned into various beasts that scattered in different directions.

”I need some privacy!” said Nemo, preparing to return to his tent. However, he stopped at the last moment.

”Geminia, if the Master appears, let her in and bring her here!” said Nemo suddenly.

”Milica?” asked Eulalia of Nemo.

”Yes, Master!” Nemo confirmed, and then added, ”Knowing her, I wouldnʼt be surprised if she finds a way to leave the city!”

Eulalia wanted to object, but when she remembered who she was talking about, she stopped.

”Wait, wait, Nemo!” Esma stopped Nemo before he could leave.

”Iʼm more than sure that after hearing this news, that blonde bitch will come too!”

It took Nemo a moment to realize who Esma was talking about. But then, looking at Sierra, who also nodded in agreement with Esma, he realized that they were talking about Lucinda, the Light Valkyrie.

Nemo looked at Geminia.

”Okay, Iʼll let her in if she comes!” Geminia agreed.

After looking around at the others once more and making sure that no one else had anything to do with him, Nemo returned to his tent, and not to the Temple.

At the moment, the small tent was much closer and more familiar to Nemo than the large and unfamiliar Temple.

With Nemo gone, Geminia also disappeared. She went to keep an eye on the kids who had run away, and on the uninvited guests. As the ruler of the Forbidden Zone, she could observe the entire area, and no one could escape her gaze.

Geminia distributed all the energy of madness to the middle layer to support the doppelgangers.

The others, realizing that this clearing is now safe, like the three cities, and they no longer need to rush and be afraid of a ”Reset”, were finally able to relax.

Back at the camp, Idan decided to discuss with Arabel the main issue that tormented them — the question of returning back to their world.
