Chapter 187: Arrival in Junonia and old connections. Part 1

In a small clearing located near the city of the first floor of the dungeon, a mysterious portal has opened.

A young man in a strange mask emerged from it. As soon as he came out, the portal slammed shut behind him and disappeared.

The young manʼs right arm separated from his body and fell to the ground. First, she turned into a black liquid, and then into a cute little kitten. With one deft leap, she climbed onto the young manʼs shoulder.

This young man was Nemo, who had finally left Limbo and ended up on the first floor of one of the seven unconquered dungeons.

Following the instructions he received from the group, Nemo easily discovered the city. Using his adventurerʼs identity card, he entered the city without any problems or unnecessary attention.

Nemo was aware that there were teleportation gates in all dungeon cities that could take anyone outside the dungeons to Junonia.

Nemoʼs current goal wasnʼt to explore the dungeons or find information about the upcoming trial. The most important thing Nemo longed for was to leave the dungeon and finally be in Junonia, where he could think about what to do next.

Until Nemo is outside the dungeons, he wonʼt feel like heʼs really left Limbo.

Each city, like the Limbo cities, had a branch of the Adventurerʼs Guild, which was responsible for the maintenance and control of the teleportation gates.

Nemo easily found the branch building of the Adventurerʼs Guild and entered it without any obstacles. He handed over some of the beast corpses that he carried in his bag and received the required amount. Then, after paying the cost of teleportation, he stepped through the gate that led him out of the dungeon without any difficulties or surprises.

Teleporting through the Guild branch gate was no different from the mysterious gate that had brought him out of Limbo.

In a matter of seconds, Nemo found himself in an open area where there were many people. He blinked at the bright light of the local sun for a moment.

The sky was clear, and the noise from the many voices was a bit confusing. Only when someone pushed him slightly from behind, hurrying him on, did Nemo step forward, joining the crowd.

But he had not gone far from the gate when he felt several unknown forces begin to establish connections with him.

Nemo frowned and, deciding to check what was happening, shuddered.

Nemo felt that these forces that were beginning to connect with him were not new at all. In fact, itʼs his old connections that started to recover after he left the dungeon and Limbo.

In an unknown corner of the Labyrinth continent, where these seven unconquered dungeons were located, in one of the many mountains inside a small dark cave, a small bat-like creature hung upside down from the ceiling.

The creature blended into its surroundings and looked more like a statue than a living being.

But suddenly, the creature opened its bright blood-red eyes, in which shock and anticipation could be detected.

After so much time and waiting, the creature finally caught the long-lost connection, which began to recover.

Without delay, the creature pushed off from the ceiling and, before falling to the ground, spread its webbed wings and, like a bloodstain, sped off to the side, from where she caught a faint connection, which slowly began to strengthen.

All the creature was thinking about right now was blood. The blood of the man who had once awakened her, and the blood that had been the meaning of her life.

All her thoughts were focused on his blood.

Blood, Blood, Blood...

Under the influence of this, the creature did not notice how the other connection, which she was most afraid of, began to be restored.

A connection that caused her to hibernate so she wouldnʼt be discovered.

On the edge of the well-known territory of the Dragons, not far from the center of the Labyrinth continent, in one of the mountains, in a large dark cave, from the entrance of which fresh blood wafted, an adult Dragon lay in her huge dragon form.

It had two huge wings, four paws, huge horns on its head, and blood-red scales. Blood flowed like water all over her body, washing over her body.

It was an adult Blood Dragon, one of the rarest and most cursed Dragon species. He was feared and shunned not only by other races, but also by other Dragons.

Whenever possible, other Dragon species tried to destroy such Dragons before they gained their power.

Currently, the Blood Dragon bloodline has weakened so much that, in the opinion of most, there are only Blood Dragonoids left — those Dragons who did not have the pure bloodline of true Dragons, but were displaced with the blood of other races.

However, despite this, the blood of this adult Blood Dragon had the pure blood of True Blood Dragons flowing in it, which seemed impossible.

Lying with her eyes closed, the Dragon suddenly opened them and looked around, puzzled. Then she shifted her gaze in a certain direction.

Suddenly, she felt a connection she had long lost. The bond she established with one of the surviving descendants of the Rain Clan as compensation for her miraculous deeds. For what she did to him personally. For his help in restoring the ancestral lineage...

The Dragonʼs gaze fell on the blood-red egg that was pulsing in her embrace.

Her still unborn child.

The dragon immediately grasped the connection that her unborn child had established with this man. Even while inside the egg, the child has already established a connection with its parent.

The dragon just sighed and shook her huge head, and then went back to sleep, waiting for the egg to hatch.

The Dragon had no regrets about what had happened.

She was sure that she had repaid him in full by putting her mark on him, which could help him use the dragonʼs power.

The dragon knew that if ”he” decided to take revenge, she would kill him without hesitation. All that mattered to her was herself and her unborn child.
