Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 195: Register as ”Awakened”

”The Morgan family?” said Arabel incredulously when she heard her familyʼs last name.

The young man, who introduced himself as Klaus Morgan, turned his attention to Arabel. He did not recognize her under the Ghost mask and, noticing her surprised face, asked:

”Is there something wrong with my last name?” he asked bluntly.

— No, of course not! Idan replied, taking Arabelʼs hands to calm her down a little. And then he added, ”Weʼre just surprised to meet a representative of the famous Morgan family!”

Esma watched in silence. She was already more or less aware that Arabel had a difficult relationship with her family, which was named Morgan.

”Well, good!” said Klaus, nodding to the employee, and she nodded back and left the room.

”Fill out the questionnaires first, and then Iʼll proceed to the interview!” said Klaus.

Following his instructions, Ethan, Arabel, and Esma sat down and began filling out the forms.

Esma sat quietly, waiting for Arabel to finish her questionnaire and then take it up, as she was not familiar with the writing of this world.

”Is something wrong?” asked Klaus, noticing that Esma did not start filling out the questionnaire.

”Iʼm waiting for my sister to help me!” replied Esma bluntly, pointing at Arabel.

Klaus, although he found it strange, did not insist and just waited for them to finish.

When Ethan and Arabel finished their questionnaires, Arabel immediately took up Esmuʼs questionnaire. Both spoke openly so that Klaus could hear their conversation, and quickly completed the filling.

All three of them handed the questionnaires to Klaus, and he took them and quickly ran through the contents.

”Ethan Goldwing, Isabella White, and Esma Blueberry!” he said their names, and they just nodded in response.

Ethan listed his age as 19, Isabella as 18, and Esma as 17.

There was a ”System name” item in the questionnaire, but all three left it blank because it was stated in parentheses that this information was optional.

There were also other, less important issues. They mostly concerned their hometown, the time of awakening, whether they were already in another world, and so on.

”Have you received the serum before?” asked Klaus, without taking his eyes off the questionnaires.

”Yes!” replied Idan. ”Besides Esma, Isabella and I have already received the serum, but we were unable to awaken back then.”

Klaus nodded, satisfied with this answer.

”Are you not a member of any Guild?” he got to the point where he had to indicate his affiliation to any Guild if they were already members.

Of course, all three of them left this item empty.

”No, we donʼt belong to any Guild!” replied Idan for all of them.

So, point by point, Klaus refined the answers written by the trio, and soon he was done. He found nothing suspicious or unusual.

”Alright, — Klaus said, putting down the questionnaires.

”Would you like to join the Awakened Association?” he asked, staring at them intently.

This question caught all three of them off guard, even though they were prepared for such a suggestion. They exchanged glances, expressing their confusion.

”We need to think about this before we can give an answer. We just recently returned from another world, so Iʼm sorry if we canʼt give an answer right away,” Arabel tactfully refused, while expressing regret.

”I understand you,” Klaus said, pulling out business cards and handing them to all three of them.

They were the Morgan familyʼs business cards. After inviting them to join the association, Klaus immediately began the recruitment process for his family.

The trio took the business cards, looked at them, and, realizing the essence of the offer, simply put them in their pockets.

”Now that you have recently returned, you must have accumulated the experience of being in another world. You can share it with the association by filling out a special report and getting contribution points for it. After verification, if your information turns out to be unique and is not found in our archives, you will receive additional contribution points.”

Klaus immediately began to talk about the activities of the association:

”For contribution points, you can purchase the necessary materials and resources, if they are, of course, in the warehouse of the association. In addition, you have the opportunity to exchange materials and resources that you do not need in the Resource Department for contribution points or credits. The association also accepts the currency of another world.”

”Thatʼs it!” both Idan and Arabel exclaimed at the same time, looking at Esma. Seeing their slightly greedy gaze, she shuddered.

”What?” Esma asked.

”Hehe, sis, donʼt pretend. You have a lot of other worldʼs currency, donʼt you?” asked Arabel with a smile.

Esma didnʼt understand at first, but then it dawned on her. The damn couple wanted to exchange her savings for local currency. Then she remembered how they greedily collected almost all the valuable resources from the beasts they killed.

”Youʼve already taken almost all the valuable resources from the slain beasts! Donʼt try to reach your greedy hands into my pocket!” exclaimed Esma.

Upon hearing Esmaʼs response, the couple were embarrassed. Yes, they had tried to take everything they could, because they could exchange it for system points. But fortunately, they hadnʼt used them yet as the cost wasnʼt very high.

There were even resources that belonged to platinum-ranked beasts. However, the couple realized that only beasts and creatures of the ”gold” rank should currently exist in their world, and there should be no ”platinum” ones.

After thinking about it, they came to the conclusion that they also could not use the resources of the ”gold” rank, since they themselves were only at the ”silver” rank.

Fortunately, there were enough ”Bronze” and ”Silver” rank resources in the delivery to provide them for the first time.

The couple and Esma already had a plan of action. They planned to exchange resources for local currency and then go shopping.

”Hey, sis. Isnʼt what belongs to you a part of mine?” Arabel asked with a smile, hinting at their contract.

”N... no!” Esma refused.

Arabelʼs smile did not disappear, but there was a coldness in her eyes that made Esma cringe a little. Due to the contract, her strength decreased, becoming equal to Arabelʼs rank.

”Well...I canʼt give it all, but I can share a little...” Esma surrendered under Arabelʼs gaze.

”Thatʼs great!” said Arabel happily.

Arabel had no regrets about what she had done to Esme. She knew that Esma was rich. Over the years, working in her shop and selling ill-fated potions, Esma has accumulated enough funds. Thatʼs why sharing a little bit with her wasnʼt so painful for Esma.

”Ahem!” — Klaus cleared his throat, drawing the trioʼs attention.

”From what I hear, do you have any resources that you would like to exchange? Iʼll ask an employee to take you to the Resource Department. But first, wait here a bit, you will soon be provided with your identification cards as ”Awakened Ones”. With these words, Klaus got up from his seat and, taking their questionnaire with him, left the trio waiting.

The trio waited for about half an hour before an employee entered their room with their IDs in her hands.

”Here are your IDs!” she said.

”You can use them as regular cards to pay for and store credit, as well as to earn contribution points from the Awakened Association,” the employee added.

”Wow!” all three of them were surprised, picking up their IDs.

[Attention! A tracking device has been detected!] — the System warned as soon as the couple picked up their IDs.

Idan and Arabel werenʼt too surprised by this.

They decided not to use their old numbers and cards, fearing that they might be followed. Itʼs so easy to track electronic devices, especially if the Federation and the Association have the necessary resources.

”Of course! How can it be without this?” — Idan exclaimed, speaking to Arabel through a mental link.

”Yes, thatʼs to be expected,” Arabel agreed.

”Over here!” an employee called them, heading towards the resource department.
