Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 193: The first pieces of information.

A few hours later, the trio entered a small cafe located quite far from the place of their appearance.

The couple was slightly shocked to learn that approximately one year and nine months had passed since they were teleported to this world.

The next ”disaster” was just under three months away. After three months, their world would once again enter a new stage of its growth, removing the third seal of the System and increasing the allowable level to 40.

Three months was exactly the time the couple had to master their bloodlines and pass the ascension trials. They had to overcome the limitations of level 20 and then level up to level 30.

After finding an empty seat in the cafe, the three of them sat down.

Idan stood out very much in his festive costume, and other young girls and women glanced at him from time to time, which made Arabel more and more annoyed. She was already starting to hate Idanʼs new look.

In his old form, he didnʼt attract members of the opposite sex as much.

Esma didnʼt pay any attention to it at all. All these hours, she never stopped being amazed by the discovery of a new world. Everything was new to her.

Idan and Arabel felt like parents who had let their daughter out for a walk, and Esma was always admiring new things, like a little girl.

People sometimes gave their group a strange look, which made Idan and Arabel feel a little uncomfortable.

”Okay, letʼs order something and summarize what weʼve learned and heard!” — finally sitting down, Idan suggested to the girls.

”But not everything in a row, and choose something that is not very expensive!” added Idan, checking how much money they had at the moment, and there was not much of it.

”How so?” Esma complained, having just picked up the menu and opened it. Although she couldnʼt read their language, just the pictures on the menu played up her appetite.

”We donʼt have that much money yet. As soon as you have it, we wonʼt stop you from trying whatever you want!” Arabel told Esme. When she realized, she just pouted, like an offended girl at her parents.

”At least she didnʼt get hysterical.” Idan and Arabel thought at the same time, looking at Esmaʼs offended face.

”Itʼs amazing that the Federation still exists and hasnʼt collapsed in that time,” Idan said with some surprise.

”And even more amazing is that, as you expected, Guilds have appeared!” said Arabel admiringly, looking at Idan.

As Idan had told her, Guilds had sprung up over the years, led mostly by awakened ones from the first wave.

Idan and Arabel did not learn anything specific about the situation around the world, only rumors.

It was obvious that neither the Federation nor the new Guilds were eager to share all the information with ordinary residents.

To get more detailed and reliable information, they needed to contact someone from the Guilds or the Federation.

When it came to the Federation, Idan and Arabel found out that after the Guilds appeared, the Awakened Association were created to control their activities. If it werenʼt for the fact that not all of the awakened from the first wave had left the Federation, this idea would not have been successful.

It was only thanks to the support of the awakened ones from the first wave, who worked closely with the Federation, that the association was able to succeed and become one of the important structures in the modern world, similar to the Adventurers Guild in Junonia.

However, this was just a general idea of the couple, based on the rumors and news they had heard.

”Now the overall picture is more or less clear. The next thing we need to do is find out where my sister and your brother are,” Idan said, looking at Arabel. She, in turn, nodded, agreeing with him.

At this point, Arabel was not eager to contact her family.

She wanted to hear details from her brother about how things were going at home. As someone who grew up in a family, she understood that public opinion about the family was very different from what was happening inside. Therefore, Arabel did not want to learn about her family from news or rumors, realizing that all this could be just a pretense or a lie.

”Then letʼs register with the association as those who have awakened naturally, not through a serum!” suggested Idan, and Arabel nodded in agreement again.

It was one of those pieces of news that really surprised the couple. After the second ”Disaster”, when the world became a little stronger, awakened ones began to appear not only after the introduction of the serum, but also without it, and this process of awakening was called natural.

Because of this, it has become more difficult for the Federation to control the number of awakened ones.

The Federation called on all awakened ones to register with the association.

A Special Department has been set up to deal with unregistered awakened ones. Of course, it was difficult for ordinary people to deal with the awakened ones, so the Special Department had its own awakened ones.

At the same time, the System itself created some difficulties for the work of a Special Department that was engaged in the capture of unregistered awakened ones.

From the very beginning, Idan wondered why the awakened ones, who had their own Systems, could not seize power and take it away from ordinary influential people. And only now, having become awakened, did he finally understand the reason.

Itʼs about the limitation that the System imposed on its Hosts. She didnʼt approve of acting against ordinary mortals. If any Host committed any actions against people, they were punished by reducing hidden statistics that were not visible to the Host itself. This characteristic was called Karma.

Each Host could feel how his actions affected the level of Karma, but did not know how high it was at the moment.

According to the rules of the System, if the Karma index decreases too much as a result of actions against mortals and exceeds the established threshold, other Systems may receive a task to eliminate an undesirable Host of this System.

In addition, Karma could be reduced by the actions of a Host against a Host from another System. However, there were nuances in this case. For the punishment to be applied, irrefutable evidence was required that it was the Host from another System that was the culprit. Without this evidence, the punishment had no effect, which, of course, provided an opportunity for covert actions and manipulations.

For an open conflict, it was necessary to simply challenge and organize an official battle between the Hosts.

The battles could take place in two versions:

* Fight until the other side admits defeat.

* Fight to the death.
