Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 185: The second star and the signing of the contract.

Arabel and Esma returned from their conversation and joined the others.

Milica had already assumed that even after completing the test, not everyone would be released from Limbo. However, at least there was hope. It was known that as Nemo progressed through the remainder of the trial, he would gain more power and eventually be able to help the others leave Limbo.

During the conversation, Lucinda was the only one who felt like she was out of place. She felt like a stranger among this group.

Even Sierra and Esma, who spent a few days with everyone, became a little closer. Milica, as the master of all young people, quickly joined their company, but not Lucinda.

She still couldnʼt figure out why she was allowed to come. Although all three of them were Valkyries from the Celestial Continent, Lucinda wasnʼt that close to Sierra and Esma.

It wasnʼt until the end of the day that Lucinda realized why she was included in the group, when they began discussing further action plans.

After the Reset, Nemo firmly decided to leave Limbo. In addition to the next part of the trial, he sought to learn about his past and identity before he entered Limbo. He wanted to find out who he was, if he had any relatives, and also to find out who owned the pendant that had been hanging around his neck since he woke up in this place.

In addition, Nemo was puzzled by the personalities of two other creatures with whom, as it turned out, he had connections.

At first, he found out about it from the system, but today Milica personally confirmed that in addition to the pendant, he really has connections with two women. This discovery came as a complete surprise to him, since these three connections, apparently, were all more personal and intimate, like a husband and wife.

Nemo gave Idan and Arabel a strange look for the first time, wondering if it was their doing. After all, their system, as he remembered, was called ”Supreme Husband System” and ”Supreme Wife System”.

Milica and Eulalia decided to continue their research of the remaining eight Forbidden Zones, trying to gather as much information as possible.

They understood that this information would help Nemo in choosing the other two Forbidden Zones to conquer. In addition, the Master and the disciple were not averse to capturing the remaining two Temples at the first opportunity, and the presence of Lucinda, with whom they decided to form an alliance, turned out to be very useful.

Sierra also offered her help in exploring the remaining eight Forbidden Zones.

Sierra understood that Nemo and the couple would soon leave Limbo, and her part of the deal would be completed. Since she had nothing much to do, she decided to help with the research, at the same time getting the opportunity to explore the remaining eight Forbidden Zones.

Moreover, Sierra was already aware that these zones are closely related to the mystery of the ”Throne”, which naturally attracted her attention.

”Ah, let go! Nooo!” screamed Esma in the late afternoon, when Lucinda, with Sierraʼs support, decided to teach her a lesson for dirty words and constant calling her a ”Bitch.”

Coco, who had been secretly watching what was happening all this time, did not miss the opportunity to take some photos of two Valkyries punishing a third, capturing them from different angles. She already knew how to use these photos against Esma to get extra candy.

Idan and Arabel, as planned, decided to go into seclusion in the late afternoon to form their second stars.

Although Idan didnʼt really need it at the moment, Arabel convinced him that even if not now, it would definitely come in handy in the near future. Therefore, he also decided to form his second star.

It wasnʼt that Idan didnʼt want to do this, but he was a little sorry to waste the System Points, which were already not much left after all the events.

After all, the formation of the second stars already cost 500 System points for each.

”Um... Dan… I would like to talk about system points...”

Before the formation of the second Stars began, Idan finally heard Arabelʼs confession that she had spent 100 System Points on candy for Coco.

As she said, that evening everyone found out about Cocoʼs profession as a photographer. Even Sierra, who hadnʼt shown much interest before, wanted to get the photos from Coco.

But Coco was cunning and demanded only candy for her pictures. Due to the general pressure and requests, Arabel was forced to give in and give up all the remaining candies from her package. When she didnʼt have enough, she had to buy a new one.

Idan wasnʼt angry, but on the contrary, he was a little glad that Arabel had decided to share this information instead of leaving it unnoticed.

The process of forming the second Star turned out to be not as painful and extreme as the formation of the first one.

All that was required of the couple was to pay the Points to the System, and she already did all the work herself.

It was a strange feeling: Idan and Arabel could only endure and wait, unable to contribute. The sense of achievement was completely absent.

The couple realized that this power did not belong to them, but was bestowed by the System. And if so, then it can be taken away, as well as given.

Perhaps it was precisely because of these fears that the System told them from the very beginning: try to learn how to use the powers it has given you and make them part of your Strength, regardless of the System.

At the moment, the couple did not have a clear understanding of how to do this. They couldnʼt even determine where the boundary between their own strength and the Systemʼs strength was. How to distinguish one from the other and how to make one force a part of the other?

The couple spent the whole night forming their second stars. By the next morning, with the help of the System, they had successfully completed the process, and Arabel was ready to sign a contract with Esma.

In the morning, after Idan and Arabel had successfully completed the form of the second star, they felt a little tired and exhausted.

Time did not stand still, it inexorably ran forward. Tomorrow was supposed to be Reset day, after which Nemo was going to leave Limbo, and with him, the couple finally had to return to their home world.

It was unknown how much time had passed since they were in Limbo. What happened to their friends and family during the second disaster? How much has their world changed? There was also an open question about how much time was left before the third disaster, and most importantly, how was overcoming the disaster in their world related to removing the seal from the limitations of their systems?

The answers to all these questions were waiting for the couple after their return. They were well aware that returning home would not bring them relief, but, on the contrary, would plunge them into even greater problems.

After getting some rest and recovering, Arabel immediately decided to finish the long-delayed business with Esma.

Esma was looking forward to Arabel finally coming out of her seclusion. She carefully considered Arabelʼs offer and method once again, and was finally convinced that she had to sign a contract with her.

Esma allowed for the possibility that if Arabel had said that signing a contract would allow her to completely separate from her true self and become an independent being, then perhaps there were other ways that did not require signing a contract.

However, in her entire life and based on her originalʼs memories, she had never heard of such methods. Therefore, even if there was such a way, Esma did not want to miss Arabelʼs current chance.

”Finally!” exclaimed Esma with relief when she saw Arabel coming out of her tent, attracting the attention of others.

No one present except Esma, Arabel, and Idan knew what they were going to do. Only Sierra had some suspicions.

”Howʼs it going?” — Esma was so excited that she didnʼt even have time to say hello properly, getting straight to the point.

”How are you? Have you thought about it again? Are you sure?” Arabel asked, showing that she was ready and everything depended on Esmaʼs decision.

”Yes, I thought about it again and decided to trust your words. Iʼm ready to accept your offer!” replied Esma confidently.

The others only got more confused listening to their conversation.

”Okay, letʼs finish this quickly! Donʼt resist!” said Arabel, coming up to Esme and putting her index finger to her forehead. Esma obeyed and froze.

Those who found out what was going on gasped.

As soon as the Soul Power entered Esmaʼs body, the System took matters into its own hands, just like last time. She quickly separated a part of Esmaʼs soul and formed a bond with Arabelʼs second Star. Arabelʼs second Star began to transform, growing in size and turning orange.

Esma, enduring the mental pain, felt a new bond formed between her and Arabel. Before she knew it, her body turned into a particle and entered Arabelʼs body, moving into her second Star.

[Ding! The second contract has been successfully concluded! Congratulations to the Host on taming the second being!]

[Ding! Attention! It has been discovered that the rank of the contracted being exceeds the rank of the Host! The creatureʼs rank will be forcibly limited by the Hostʼs rank!]

[Ding! Attention, it has been discovered that the contracted being is the product of a unique ability similar to that of the avatar! The connection with the true essence will be forcibly severed!]

[Ding! In this regard, the process of restoring the new true essence of the contracted being has begun! The initial restoration of the essence particles will take one full day. It will take a considerable amount of time to fully recover!]

[Ding! A limited connection to the Bloodline Domain has been discovered! The connection with the Bloodline Domain will be forcibly severed and preserved for future possible use!]

Immediately after signing the contract, Arabel received a flood of messages from the System, accompanied by text notifications.

While she was trying to understand what was happening, the others looked at her in disbelief, trying to comprehend what had just happened. Lucinda looked especially stunned.

”Oh, Iʼm so tired! I just need to rest...”— with these words, Arabel was going to return to her tent and get some sleep.

She learned from the Systemʼs messages that it takes Esme a whole day to create a small part of a new entity. Only then would Arabel be able to summon her, but for now, she would have to rest inside her second Star.

”Wait!” — Lucinda exclaimed, stopping Arabel as she was about to leave.

”What?” — Arabel asked, stopping and turning to Lucinda.

”What just happened? What did you do to Esme?” asked Lucinda.

Arabel felt so tired that she didnʼt want to waste time explaining. She looked at Eulalia.:

”Senior, please explain to her what happened. I want to get some rest. I stayed up all night trying to form a second Star...”

Having heard Arabelʼs request, Eulalia nodded, agreeing with her.

Seeing this nod, Arabel returned to the tent, and no one else tried to stop her. Idan was already resting by then and didnʼt even come out to see Arabel sign the contract with Esma.

While the couple was relaxing, Eulalia told Lucinda and Milisa in detail about what had happened. She linked all the events to a new Path of Improvement, which the couple shared with them.

By lunchtime, after a good rest, the couple came out of their tents and confirmed Eulaliaʼs words. In the end, they added that it was Esmaʼs own wish to follow them into their world.

Lucinda was in shock and couldnʼt believe what was happening. Sierra laughed at the situation, wondering how Esmaʼs true body, Esmarie, would feel.

Then she shook her head. Deep down, she was a little happy for Esma, because she had finally found the freedom she had dreamed of, as Sierra had suspected.
