Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 189: A new chain of tasks from the System!

Idan immediately realized that he had forgotten to put on his Ghost mask to hide his identity. Wasting no time, he grabbed Arabelʼs hand and ran away from the crowd that had begun to gather around them due to the uproar.

Unlike Idan, for Arabel, the Ghost mask had already become a part of her nature, and she almost never took it off. Due to their power as awakened ones, they easily covered the distance to the secluded alley. Once there, Idan immediately took out his Ghost mask and put it on.

The sensations were unusual. When his appearance and aura changed, Arabel, who was quietly standing and watching him, gave him a strange look.

”What?” asked Idan, noticing Arabelʼs strange expression.

”Well, how can I say… You really look strange!” Arabel replied, looking at his unusual new appearance.

His black hair has become lighter and slightly longer, and his brown eyes have turned blue.

From the outside, he looked like a member of a wealthy family.

Arabel, who was used to his usual rustic appearance, which she already liked, was embarrassed to see how he had become almost the complete opposite of who he used to be.

”How do you like my new look?” asked Idan, and Arabel shook her head without hesitation.

”I like your usual look better. In this guise, you seem like a completely different person. Someone I would never trust for no reason,” she commented, appreciating Idanʼs new appearance.

”Thatʼs enough. Letʼs change clothes!” — Idan decisively suggested, throwing off his clothes without any hesitation. He pulled out the costume he had worn at the gala ball before he went to another world and started putting it on. Unfortunately, he had no other clothes.

Arabel, embarrassed, did not change her clothes in front of him. Although she could have built herself a small shelter from the things that were in their storage, she decided to take a moment and just watch Idan, who was changing clothes, not trying to hide his actions.

Idan quickly completed his dressing process, ignoring Arabelʼs slight embarrassment. He pulled out the tentʼs fabric and fasteners to create a makeshift shelter that was spacious enough for one person. Arabel immediately disappeared inside and began to change her clothes.

Only then did Idan remember about the problematic fox.

”Coco?!” called Idan.

There was silence, and even the rustle of Arabel changing stopped.

”Is she here?” an anxious Arabel asked through a mental link.

”No, sheʼs not here. Thatʼs the problem. I suspect sheʼs secretly watching us! Unless, of course, she traveled with us instead of staying in Limbo. But knowing that Coco was given to us as a reward for a task from the System, I am more than confident that she is with us!” replied Idan.

”Coco! Come out! If you donʼt show up, you wonʼt get any more sweets!” called Arabel, agreeing with Idanʼs opinion.

They needed to establish rules for Coco as soon as possible so that she would not take photos of them whenever she found it interesting and useful to exchange for sweets. Like now, when they were changing clothes.

The couple was right: Coco, without giving herself away, watched them and took photos in order to exchange them for sweets later.

After hearing the warning from the Mistress, she quickly hid her camera and, jumping out of her invisible space, appeared in front of the couple. Her innocent eyes seemed to be asking why she was called.

But in front of the couple, her innocent face was no longer working.

During their time together, they had already learned Cocoʼs sly and playful nature.

”Take out everything you took out!” — Arabel commanded, but Coco just bowed her head, pretending to be a fool.

”You canʼt fool us anymore! Spit it out, or you wonʼt get the candy!” Arabel threatened. When Coco heard about the candy, she gave up and took out a dozen photos of Idan and just a couple of Arabel from her backpack.

Idanʼs right eye twitched with annoyance. He couldnʼt understand why there were so many pictures of him, especially the ones where he was in his underwear.

He cast a strange glance at Arabel, who immediately looked away.

Idan immediately realized that Arabel was probably secretly exchanging sweets with Coco in exchange for his photos. Thatʼs why Coco takes more pictures of Idan than Arabel, since Idan hardly shares sweets with her.

Although Idan wasnʼt too worried that Arabel would get a lot of his photos, he didnʼt get mad.

No one knew how many pictures Coco had already taken or if she was showing them all of them.

Idan said: ”Coco, we donʼt forbid you to take photos, but we ask you not to show them to anyone but us! Is it okay?”

Idan understood that they couldnʼt stop Coco from taking photos of them, because sometimes she really does take wonderful photos, like the one with the sunset. In order not to miss such moments, they decided not to hinder Coco in her work and capture them. After all, they canʼt always ask her to take photos at the right moment. Theyʼll just ask her if she took the photos.

However, it was important to explain to Coco that their photos should not be seen by other people except the two of them. No one else should see their photos.

Hearing Idanʼs stern voice, Coco immediately nodded several times, agreeing to his demands. She didnʼt show their photos to others anyway, except for the time when she gave Esme two sunset photos in exchange for candy.

Arabel also agreed with Idan. Coco can take photos of them whenever she wants, but she must never show them to others.

After the issue was resolved, Idan took out a candy and offered it to Coco. She happily took the treat with her little paws, and her muzzle lit up with happiness.

Idan just shook his head, marveling at how simple and easy it was to bring joy to Coco.

After finishing changing clothes, Idan and Arabel began to assess the current situation.

All the things they had before the teleportation were still with them: some cash, smartphones, and electronic payment cards. They also had identity cards of citizens of the Federation and residents of the capital. However, the smartphones no longer had a battery charge.

”Letʼs not take out and use our smartphones and other items that might give us away for now!” suggested Idan Arabel, and she immediately agreed.

The most important thing they had to think about was their new identities. What name should they choose and how should they get new identity cards?

Even after the disaster, humanity did not lose all its achievements, and most services, such as buying new smartphones, transportation services, and many others, were linked to identity cards.

Without confirming their identities, they couldnʼt carry out all their plans, let alone act freely.

[Ding! Congratulations to the Hosts on the successful completion of their first trip to another world and return to their native one!]

Suddenly, the System that had been silent since their return spoke up:

[Ding! The initial trial for the title of ”Supreme” has been successfully completed!]

[Ding! The system has found that the attachment of the Hosts has exceeded 50%!]

[Ding! The system assigns the roles of fiancee and fiance to the Hosts!]

[Ding! To unlock all the functions of the System, you are given a chain of tasks! The first task is to increase attachment to 75%]

[Ding! The second task is to get the blessing of parents!]

[Ding! The third task is to get married, officially becoming husband and wife!]

[Ding! When all tasks are completed, the Supreme Husband System and Supreme Wife System will take full effect!]

Idan and Arabel froze when they heard the messages from the System. They felt strange, as if this had happened to them before.
