Chapter 969: Chapter 13: Lost (3)

Both the one who said they were going to the bathroom to freshen up and the foreign youth who also said they were going to the bathroom to wash their face have not returned.

The female guard took the opportunity to pour some water for Luo Qiu and Song Ying.

The guardroom was quiet now.

Bored, Song Ying yawned and covered her mouth—it was probably because she was too bored that she casually picked up the lost item form from the table to glance at.

This seemed to be the form filled out by that foreign youth: a cup with an emerald green ring.

It seems among many ornaments, rings have the highest loss rate… Song Ying didn’t think much, and casually glanced at the name written by the foreign youth as the contact.

It was written in cursive, and quite beautifully—Song Ying couldn’t help but look at it twice more and read it aloud, “Agu… Mos… Amadoi… S? Mo… Zart?”

Song Ying yawned again, attempting to read smoothly, “Agumos Amadois Mozart… hate these long names.”

At this moment, Luo Qiu suddenly glanced over.

Song Ying shrugged, put down the form, and glanced at the two idle guards next to her, as if to say, “I didn’t intentionally look at someone’s things, it was left here.”

Luo Qiu smiled softly.

Song Ying glared and suddenly scooted her chair closer to joke, “That guy said he’s a composer, with a surname like Mozart, could he be a descendant of Mozart or something?”

She was just joking, of course, after all, even if the surname is the same, let alone those with the same name, there would be plenty.

“What if it’s true,” Luo Qiu suddenly asked.

“If it’s true…” Song Ying was stunned. Although she posed such a question, she hadn’t considered what to do if it were true.

People are often like this; curious about a question and posing hypotheticals—but never considering what should be done afterward.

“I don’t know!”

Song Ying instinctively said, “Even if Mozart really appeared before me, it wouldn’t matter… I’m not his fan.”

“Why don’t you head back to the hotel first,” Luo Qiu suddenly suggested, “I’m not too tired yet, it’s fine if I stay a bit longer.”

“You’re… showing concern for me?” Song Ying suddenly looked at Luo Qiu.

“Is there a problem?” Luo Qiu smiled slightly.

Song Ying was startled, and suddenly slapped both hands onto Luo Qiu’s face—not really a slap, more like holding his face with both hands, “Well, thanks, I’m still quite awake.”

Luo Qiu blinked, probably not understanding Song Ying’s action at that moment, also somewhat surprised. As he was about to say something, a loud noise suddenly came from outside.

It was truly a deafening sound, especially in this quiet airport terminal in the late night.

And along with this loud noise came the shrill sound of alarm bells!

“Was it a bomb…” Song Ying suddenly stood up, her brows furrowed.

The two guards were frantically calling the airport’s main station to inquire about the situation—while Paul crouched directly under the table, covering his ears, appearing very scared.

Luo Qiu seemed thoughtful.

Soon, one of the guards, after understanding the situation from the airport’s main station, informed everyone, “A men’s toilet on this floor experienced an unknown explosion; the airport’s SWAT team has been deployed! If possible, please follow us to a safe location. We are now going to completely seal off all entrances and exits. Since we don’t know if similar events will occur in other places or if dangerous people are causing damage, we ask for your understanding!”

This is truly something unavoidable.

Song Ying, while calling and contacting Song Haoran at the hotel, nodded to Luo Qiu, then walked out of the guardroom to observe the situation in the corridor.

Paul still squatted under the table in panic.

Luo Qiu pushed his chair aside and crouched in front of Paul, suddenly saying, “Do you still want to stay here? If you want to go back, now is a good time.”

Paul slowly opened his eyes, his childlike gaze clearly terrified, murmuring with a sob, “Mom…”

“Alright.” Luo Qiu nodded, then reached out his hand.

Paul hesitated for a moment before finally releasing his ears and placing his palm in Luo Qiu’s hand. Luo Qiu smiled, then pulled Paul out from under the table and picked him up, beginning to tidy up Paul’s belongings.

Drawing book and crayon pouch.

“Forget about those, let’s evacuate first!” Song Ying shouted anxiously from the doorway, no longer on the phone, having evidently already contacted the Song family—and now there were two men dressed in black suits outside the door.

These were the ‘bodyguards’ accompanying the Song family, carefully selected from the Song family’s village—there’s no need to think much about their sudden appearance.

After witnessing Song Ying and Luo Qiu’s ‘private actions,’ they likely followed to ensure care.

Luo Qiu also carried Paul’s backpack, holding the kid as he walked out, calmly saying, “Let’s go.”

The two ‘bodyguards’ from the Song family were now standing in front and behind Luo Qiu and Song Ying, with vigilant eyes surveying the surroundings—making the guards in the security office marvel.

This couple, could they be some sort of spoiled young master and lady?

…

…

After splashing cold water on his face several times, Agumos took a deep breath, wiped his face, and looked at himself in the mirror.

But his mind kept replaying the melody hummed by that child Paul.

It was truly unshakable… It’s not a reason like coincidental creation that could make him feel relieved—if not for this reason, then where did this complete song compared to his own sea monster creation come from?

Could it be someone else had written it earlier—and identically, while he was merely plagiarizing others?

It’s truly laughable!

Agumos took another deep breath… His family was somewhat unique—his older brother, in the eyes of the family, was a complete genius, a piece that took him months to practice and master, took his brother only a few days.

In the family’s eyes, his brother seemed to be the ancestry incarnate. The family had high hopes… No matter how hard he tried, he always stood behind the family, watching his brother who seemed like the center of the world.

Agumos thought his entire life would be like this—until that dazzling star-like brother suddenly abandoned music and became an archaeologist, using those nearly perfect hands to dig earth’s soil.

Those hands, which seemed to be God’s work, should be dancing on black and white piano keys… Mother would always murmur sadly.

Archaeology, it shall be.

Agumos felt that at least he had never given up on music—it’s just that his family had never recognized his talent… He was someone without talent.

But Agumos had never given up; he wanted to prove himself—even if he could not compare with his genius of a brother, at least he still had some talent.

This piece was his work to prove himself—he had been writing it for nearly two years. Although the progress was slow, every note, every passage contained all his efforts.

Now to be told that this composition already existed early on, that Agumos’ painstaking work was entirely a joke?

If he hadn’t grown up in such a good family environment, he probably would have gone mad from the shock—of course, things weren’t much better now.

Qiao An, Agumos remembered the woman he liked. It was she who inspired him to create this piece… She always brought him calmness.

At this moment, Agumos picked up the phone, just outside the bathroom door.

This should be the nearest bathroom after coming out of the security room, but on the way, Agumos did not run into Qiao An… Maybe she hadn’t come out yet?

What puzzled Agumos was that the phone had been ringing for a long time without being answered, and being sensitive to sound, Agumos did not hear any ringtone coming from the women’s restroom.

“Strange, did she already go back? Surely she didn’t go to the other side?” Agumos muttered suspiciously.

“Agumos!”

At this moment, he heard Qiao An’s voice—it was Qiao An’s voice, but there seemed to be something slightly different about it.

Despite the doubts in his heart, when Agumos turned around, what he saw was indeed Qiao An.

“Why are you…” Agumos slightly opened his mouth, feeling an indescribable sense of oddity, but he couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was.

“What’s wrong?” Qiao An looked at Agumos with confusion at this moment, “Are you feeling unwell?”

“Oh… it’s nothing.” Agumos shook his head, thinking it was probably because he was overly concerned about that piece of music, making him anxious, he tried to calm himself down, “Maybe I’m just a bit tired, having been on such a long flight.”

Maybe he should inquire about the origin of this piece of music from that kid Paul… At least, at least if someone had really composed a similar piece early on, he should get to know about it.

“Perhaps you are really too tired.” Qiao An reached out and held Agumos’ hand at this moment, blinking her eyes, “Is everything really alright?”

Agumos smiled faintly for reassurance, while nervously glancing around him, “Didn’t they say one shouldn’t be too intimate in public areas?”

“There’s no one! Silly!” Qiao An rolled her eyes cutely at Agumos, “I didn’t even bring an assistant this time, if I’m not afraid, what are you afraid of?”

“I’m being too cautious.” Agumos chuckled bitterly.

The journey from acquaintance to a deep understanding, and now to romance with Qiao An had many ups and downs—yet, even till this moment, they still maintained a pure relationship.

Because Qiao An is indeed a devout believer, resistant to certain behaviors before marriage.

“How about we leave now.” Qiao An suddenly suggested, “After all, there are so many people here, staying too long is bound to cause problems… Who knows if there are any paparazzi hiding nearby.”

“Oh, that would indeed be very troublesome.” Agumos agreed quite a bit—being secretly photographed and followed is already a common issue for celebrities.

“But what about that kid in the security room?” Agumos worriedly brought up at this moment, “If things are not clarified, who knows if those two security guards will spread rumors, and there’s also a bunch of young men and women, it’s unclear about them… After all, your identity has also been exposed.”

“You’re silly! This child has been handed over to the security guards, if his parents come to claim him, wouldn’t everything be clarified?” Qiao An retorted, somewhat annoyed.

“Well, that’s true as well.” Agumos nodded in agreement, then suddenly said, “But what about that ring?”

“I’ve already found the ring.” Qiao An said as she lifted her palm; on the middle finger of her right hand was a green ring, “It seems it still has a connection with me; I picked it up earlier on the way!”

“It’s good that you found it.” Agumos nodded, just not as happy as he thought he would be… because he now had no reason to stay.

Thus unable to find the truth behind that piece of music.

“You… still don’t seem happy?” Qiao An looked up at him just then, “Isn’t this ring a very important gift from your brother?”

“No, you’re overthinking it.” Agumos smiled slightly, “Let’s go then!”

Boom—!!!

A sudden loud noise followed by a piercing alarm bell.

Qiao An turned back in shock and glanced around, but there was no one in the passage at the moment. Qiao An retreated a few steps and grabbed Agumos’ hand, “Go…”

“Go?”

Qiao An quickly said, “This is the alarm triggered, right? Something might have happened, it’s unsafe now, shouldn’t we leave first?”

“You’re right…” Agumos nodded in agreement.

The two quickly headed towards the arrival hall, and along the way, they gradually saw passengers coming from other passages in panic—the corridor was filled with announcements urging passengers to evacuate.

Qiao An and Agumos soon merged with the crowd and arrived at the arrival hall, at the place for retrieving checked luggage,

…

…

Pain… Pain pain!!

Han Bingjiang struggled to get up, shaking his head—he only remembered being knocked out heavily.

And the one who attacked him was actually that female celebrity, Qiao An.

Han Bingjiang instinctively wanted to rub the spot where he was hit, but suddenly found he was holding something—he looked down and saw it was a silver fork.

A fork used for eating Western food.

The fork was covered in red blood!

Han Bingjiang, startled, immediately threw the fork to the ground—but that wasn’t the most terrifying part for him!

What terrified him the most was that in this men’s restroom, right next to where he got up, there was a woman’s body leaning against the wall, sitting there!

Covered in fresh blood, she had probably lost a lot of blood and died… And her face was even stripped of the skin, but her eyes had not closed.

‘She’… with eyeless eyes staring fixedly at Han Bingjiang, as if ‘she’ hadn’t died at all!

Han Bingjiang fell to the ground in panic once again!
