Chapter 908: Chapter 152: Dawn of the Living Dead (6)

The impression is that blood should be red, but the blood in front of Zhong Luoyue is almost black.

Generations of Blood Bags, generations of red and black blood bags. When she held the blood bag in her hand, strangely, there was no sense of resistance, but a certain joy in her body.

She knew that the blood in the blood bag was thick, and the refrigeration system of the blood bank made the platelets even thicker… somewhat like a stress-relief handball?

“Great, Luoyue, you’re really lucky, this hospital actually has Bombay blood type!” Queen Elizabeth came over with a blood bag in front of Zhong Luoyue at this moment.

“Bombay blood type?” Zhong Luoyue was taken aback.

Queen Elizabeth chuckled, “It’s a relatively rare blood type among humans, naturally its effect is not as good as the pure blood of the Thirteen Clans, but among the many known blood types of humans, it’s one of the few that can reach more than 43% pure blood quality! It’s just a pity that I only found one bag of 400cc, but for you, it’s enough for a period of time, newborns generally should not consume too much, usually, 50cc at a time is enough.”

In the impression, bloodsuckers sucking blood are always accompanied by death. They are the predators of blood, their surroundings should be reeking of blood — she never knew that bloodsuckers have to be so precise down to the milliliter.

“That’s of course!” Queen Elizabeth said earnestly at this point: “Blood is our food, but eating too much can also lead to indigestion. A scientific and reasonable intake not only allows us to resist hunger better but also allows us to absorb the power that blood brings more efficiently.”

You’re a bloodsucker talking to me about scientific and reasonable intake… It’s actually because you have always been controlled by the Thirteen Clans for pure blood supply, so every meal has to be precisely considered, right?

Despite this, some words Zhong Luoyue wisely did not mention.

She has to think about many things now, but the most important is how to avoid feeling hungry, she is not mentally prepared to kill people to drink blood… Maybe when she gets too hungry, she won’t have any psychological burden, but currently, her reason is still intact.

She has seen some of Queen Elizabeth’s memories, she has long been aware of the ways bloodsuckers obtain pure blood — as a newborn without guardians, the possibility of obtaining pure blood is indeed too slim.

The so-called Inspector Ivan did say he would give Queen Elizabeth a ten-year supply of pure blood, but Queen Elizabeth might not necessarily share it with her — after all, Queen Elizabeth is also a ‘hungry’ ‘refugee’ for a long time.

Although this mouth Zhong Luoyue feels she can open, and Queen Elizabeth is very likely to allocate a small amount of pure blood to her — but opening this mouth may ruin the relationship between the two — unless Queen Elizabeth takes the initiative to say she wants to give it, then the situation will be different.

Zhong Luoyue does not quite believe in selfless friendship, she only believes in solid friendship. And solid friendship needs to be built.

Bombay blood type… can be used as a temporary substitute for pure blood.

If rare blood types can be found in hospitals alone, then a super power that is very wealthy should be able to obtain a lot.

——First let yourself not be always in an environment of being assisted, then you can have a better development space with friends, not make the other party feel like you are a burden, and can have conversations on equal terms on many matters.

Zhong Luoyue then slowly tore open the blood bag and poured this Bombay blood type into a test tube found in the blood bank, strictly pouring out according to the 50cc portion that Queen Elizabeth mentioned.

Listening to a friend’s advice will make the other feel a sense of pleasure… As she observed Queen Elizabeth’s reaction, she casually said, “Is it best to drink 50cc each time?”

——And asking questions, inquiries that are common knowledge to the other party, easily answered… superiority.

“Generally speaking, your body is your most direct reference.” Queen Elizabeth at this moment was twirling a strand of hair with her fingers, “We are very sensitive to blood, if this quantity is not enough to fill you, your body will reflect it truthfully; you can try to increase by 10cc at a time and find a suitable amount yourself.”

Zhong Luoyue nodded, exclaimed, “Queen Elizabeth if it weren’t for you, I think I might suffer a lot.”

——Compliments, showing reliance and need, making the other feel needed.

“We are friends.” Queen Elizabeth smiled slightly: “I will try my best to help you, rest assured.”

——That’s right, we are friends.

Zhong Luoyue took a deep breath, without frowning, drank this 50cc of blood in the test tube… unexpectedly, as the cold blood slid down her throat, her body felt as if it was burning hot.

——Thus, I became a bloodsucker.

…

…

The last zombie died at Mr. Blind’s hands, who then sheathed his sword and stood silently among a pile of corpses, exuding a strong aura of slaughter.

This blind Contemporary Sword Immortal may not see the blood-soaked surroundings, but others can. Song Haoran sees this meticulously, this is what he aspires to be, but Mr. Blind has said before, he would not take any apprentices.

Song Da then brought the only captured zombie, still alive, to Mr. Blind, and said in a deep voice, “Blind Man, see if this one could be of use.”

Mr. Blind nodded and walked over in front of this huge and strange ‘tree’, reaching out to touch its ‘trunk’, as if sensing something.

This side of the battle had subsided, while over there, Luo Qiu slowly opened his eyes and came back to his senses — Gan Hong was the first to notice.

Once the zombies had been cleared, she returned from being a female warrior to a bodyguard, always keeping an eye on Luo Qiu’s condition.

“What happened to me?” Luo Qiu rubbed his forehead and stood up with Gan Hong’s support.

“You suddenly fainted again.” Gan Hong briefly explained the situation after his ‘fainting’: “Luckily, we have now successfully cleared all zombies.”

Luo Qiu nodded, his face was somewhat pale, looking as if a bit frightened — this is a normal person’s reaction.

But Uncle Wu and Old Master Song felt that although there was some fright, it’s also human nature, yet overall it was very steady, steady as Mount Tai, a person with great composure in face of major events, Uncle Wu did not know how, but Old Master Song felt very gratified.

Luo Qiu’s talent has not yet been fully showcased, but his disposition already makes Song Tianyou exceedingly satisfied.

“Hahaha! Luo Qiu, was this story interesting?” Song Haoran suddenly put his arm around Luo Qiu’s shoulder: “Next time we can tell others about fighting zombies in the hospital.”

Luo Qiu knows many of Song Haoran’s adventure stories are indeed real, because he possesses the ability to encounter those adventure stories.

“Old Master, though the zombies have been temporarily cleared, we still don’t know if there are people in the hospital turning into zombies…” Uncle Wu calmly said at this point: “Also Mr. Blind has some guesses about this strange tree, the danger has not been eradicated. We should evacuate quickly now.”

“The Fifth Elder is right.” Song Tianyou nodded.

But Miss Song Ying suddenly spoke, “Grandfather, look, this tree seems to be wilting!”

Miss Song Ying pointed with her fingertips towards the rising sun, under the dawn, this tree that had absorbed zombie blood and flesh to grow began to gradually wither.

It has not been counted yet, how many died in this sudden zombie calamity, but…

Luo Qiu said softly, “It’s dawn.”

…

…

Just as Luo Qiu and Zhong Luoyue had stated, some matters, ‘they’ are fully capable of handling, and will do so very well.

‘They’ are the Song Family, along with the local government which has very good relations with the Song Family.

It is said this had alerted all levels of officials in the local government, even a Director of the military district. As a direct participant in this disaster, Old Master Song was presently in secret talks with the government and military personnel.

The hospital survivors have all been controlled, but whether the news has been completely blocked, will only be seen in the next dozen hours, observing if there will be any discussions outside.

The hospital staff and some family members who mutated into zombies, along with their corpses and death reports, require substantial effort to handle.

As for the bizarre gigantic plant that mutated and grew, once the sun rose, it withered bit by bit, ultimately turning into dust… but the government and military still refrained from casually touching these remnants, and instead temporarily preserved them under a plastic tent that was hastily set up in the hospital parking lot with guards watching over them.

Nonetheless, for safety reasons, no one inside the hospital was allowed to leave—though Old Master Song wished for the Song family’s descendants to evacuate the area promptly, the threat of zombies was too great, and nobody understood why it erupted so suddenly, leading them to undergo various inspections under the government’s and military’s firm stance.

Due to a large number of deceased medical staff, the inspections are currently being conducted by a military medical team dispatched by the army.

Luo Qiu was still in his original luxurious ward, and Gan Hong sat beside the bed, holding a small knife and peeling an apple, although she too had changed into a patient’s gown by this time.

Being meticulous, she peeled the apple skin, then sliced it into small pieces, removed the core, and arranged the apple flesh in a lotus-like form.

“I’m so furious!”

At this moment, Song Ying burst through the door, cursing loudly, “Blood draws and urine tests are one thing, but they actually said they want feces!! Why don’t they go take some themselves!!”

Miss Song Ying seemed truly infuriated as she plopped down and grabbed a piece of apple block from the platter to stuff into her mouth.

She had only taken two bites when she noticed Gan Hong and Luo Qiu both glancing at her, prompting her to glare back at the two, “What? Did I eat yours? I’ll give it back to you!”

The half-eaten apple piece was suddenly extended towards Luo Qiu.

“You should eat more, I’m not hungry.” Luo Qiu said indifferently, “Besides, eating apples should be beneficial.”

Song Ying froze, smacked her lips a few times, then suddenly covered her mouth and spat the contents out, “Is there anyone as infuriating as you?”

“What’s wrong with eating apples?” Luo Qiu suddenly glanced at Gan Hong and said calmly, “I think it’s quite healthy.”

Gan Hong had to nod… she realized this Young Master Luo Qiu seemed to be a natural bane to Miss Song Ying.

However, it felt like Young Master Luo Qiu was joking harmlessly this time… something seemed different, he seemed in a rather good mood.

But Song Ying wasn’t backing down, pointing with her finger and glaring, “Luo Qiu let me tell you, don’t think that just because Grandpa favors you, you can be overbearing! No matter what, I’m older than you!”

“Truly beautiful.” Luo Qiu suddenly smiled.

Song Ying was taken aback, frowning, “What did you say?”

Luo Qiu whispered, “Remember the last time I went with you to the Song Dynasty Hotel, you were busy all night, without any expression, cold like a machine… but now you look much better, truly beautiful.”

“Don’t – don’t think a few compliments will make everything fine!”

Luo Qiu picked up the fruit plate and offered it to Song Ying, “Being busy all night, have some food, it’s good for your body.”

Oh, so maddening!!!

But there’s no reason to get mad!!

Yet it’s truly maddening!!

Song Ying gave another fierce glare, snatched the fruit plate, and began munching in silence, but in her heart, she thought about an incident that occurred before returning.

…

Due to the chaos, many areas of the hospital had been damaged, and Song Ying recalled discreetly bribing a nurse last night to stealthily procure a bit of blood sample.

Who knows when the next opportunity for a blood draw might be? It would be best if the sent sample could be retrieved… now with all sorts of people mixed in the hospital, who knows if this matter will inadvertently be leaked?

Heaven forbid Song Tianyou finds out, Song Ying knew there would be repercussions for herself… Old Master Song particularly dislikes such mistrust among family members.

However, what Song Ying never expected was, when she went to inquire, she was told the test report was ready, leaving her dumbfounded.

She heard the doctor responsible for the tests, with a smile like Fortune’s Favorite’s, say, “Ah, truly lucky, I stayed in the lab all night. Miss Song, you know, lab work is really tedious, I enjoy listening to music and closing the door. Didn’t expect to escape unscathed… by the way, Miss Song, I completed the test results you requested overnight!”

Song Ying grumpily took the report and began scrutinizing it.

The lab doctor said, “Miss Song, based on the two blood samples you sent, my comparative results indicate that the owners of these respective samples are likely related, although not directly.”

One of them was her own.

Holding the report, Song Ying, somewhat absent-minded, was unsure how she walked out, unknowingly finding herself in Luo Qiu’s ward.

…

“Eating too much isn’t good either, especially on an empty stomach, and eating raw, cold stuff can easily cause diarrhea.”

Luo Qiu’s voice suddenly came, Song Ying froze and instinctively looked at the fruit plate in her hand… the apple Gan Hong had peeled was unnoticeably finished by her.

Song Ying glared at Luo Qiu’s face a few more times… still so maddening!!
