Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 49: War Does Not Require SympathyChapter 49: War Does Not Require Sympathy
Inside the building, more than a dozen armed robots used the ion beams on their backs to bombard the building’s elevators, destroying dozens of large and small elevator platforms, revealing the bottomless elevator shaft. They then jumped in without hesitation, and their detection radars continuously scanned the surrounding data.

”Bang!” The sound of heavy objects falling to the ground was heard, followed by a series of explosions.

The armed robots that filled the first floor of the building jumped into the elevator shaft one after another. As the number of armed robots that landed increased, the noise of the battle became louder and louder.

Inside the underground base, the Tok creatures deployed heavy firepower at the exit of the elevator shaft. Densely packed automatic weapons filled the entire hall, firing madly at the elevator shaft. The orange-yellow particle beams and the bright white particle balls connected into one, and the armed robot that had just landed was melted into a pool of scrap metal before it could fight back.

”Drop stun bombs and blast a passage for me.” Although there were a large number of armed robots, he didn’t intend to just keep wasting time like this.

A fist-sized stun bomb was fired by an armed robot using an electromagnetic cannon. The moment it hit the bottom, a shock wave shot up into the sky along the elevator shaft. The strong shock wave spread in all directions, shattering the armed robot into pieces.

The elevator shaft hall of the underground base was hit violently by the stun bomb. The deployed weapons and equipment were washed away one after another. The closed passage portals were also forced open by the impact, and a large area of internal equipment was damaged.

The armed robots rushed in again, and this time without intensive weapons attacks, they easily occupied the entrance hall and spread out along the passage.

”Have you noticed a problem? There is not even a single psychic in the Tok civilization, and even the psychic detectors have never detected any psychic response.” Wu Shuhe asked Shirley curiously. The armed robots had rushed into the scientific research base, but no psychics from the Tok civilization had been seen fighting. This was abnormal for any civilization that had psychic cultivation methods.

”Don’t you know?” Shirley looked at him in surprise. ”The psychic cultivation method of the Tok civilization has long been cleared by the military. Whenever a psychic reaction is discovered, a fleet will be dispatched to clean it up.”

”Is that so?” Wu Shuhe became even more curious. It seemed that the military had overreacted to the Tok civilization’s mastery of psychic powers.

”This scientific research base is really big. Judging from its structure, the Tok civilization hollowed out hundreds of meters underground to build this scientific research base. Wouldn’t it be better to use the time to build a space station as a scientific research base?” Wu Shuhe sneered at the choice of the Tok civilization. In the interstellar age, stars can be manipulated at will, let alone a planet. It would be useless even if it was built in the core of a star.

”Found it. There are a lot of life reactions in the space 1,200 meters underground.” Shirley happily arranged for the armed robots to go to the abnormal point to check.

”I’ve found it here too. It’s the main control room of the scientific research base, and next to it is the energy supply room.” Wu Shuhe breathed a sigh of relief and quickly mobilized armed robots to begin dismantling the quantum computer in the room and transporting it to the surface.

Compared to the jubilant Wu Shuhe and the other two, the Marine Corps captain Wei Mingming was somewhat unhappy because their Marines had nothing to do with the battle from the beginning to the end. It was all done by robots, and their more than a thousand people were completely useless.

How can you get a promotion and salary increase without any merit?

On the bottom level of the underground base, there is a safe house made entirely of high-energy alloys embedded in the underground rock formations. The armed robots that rushed in had no way to deal with the safe house for a while. The intensity of their firepower on the alloy walls could only increase its surface temperature a little bit.

When Wei Ming saw this, he immediately ordered: ”Send a laser cutting machine down and cut it open!”

Soon a landing craft flew over and dropped a cutting device. This was the equipment used by engineering ships to cut damaged armor on warships, and it was just right for dealing with the safe house.

While the Star Fleet was busy capturing the researchers of the Tok Civilization, a huge change occurred on the battlefield outside the star system. Alidartu mobilized 200 regular legions and 50 elite legions to besiege the Trialist Combined Fleet. Now all the fleets have arrived at the battlefield and are charging the Trialist Fleet in waves.

After defending for several hours, the Trial Fleet once again mobilized the special warfare fleet to inflict heavy damage on the Tok Civilization Fleet. Thirty special warfare ships wiped out nearly a hundred Tok Legion troops in one fell swoop and opened up a breakout channel.

As the Trialist Fleet successfully broke through, the Tok Civilization fleet chased after it relentlessly. Along the way, new Tok Legions continued to jump to the front to interfere with the space, making it impossible for the Trialist Combined Fleet to forcibly jump away.

As the two sides chased each other, they gradually moved away from the 063 star system and attracted more troops of the Tok civilization to encircle and intercept them, and their internal defense became weaker.

The key industrial areas and scientific research areas in various star fields were attacked by the trial-takers’ fleet. Distress messages rushed to Alidartu frantically, but he ignored them all and became the first pawn to be sacrificed.

On Planet 6, after the laser cutter arrived at the safe house of the underground scientific research base, a hole was quickly opened in the wall. An armed robot threw a stun grenade inside, knocking out all the Tok creatures hiding inside.

Soon, one suspended force field cage after another was sent to the surface. Dozens of landing craft were loaded and sent back to the transport ships. The two transport ships used the planetary air extracted from the engineering ships to fill several cargo holds and detained all the captured scientific researchers inside.

”The computer of the scientific research base has been unlocked. The language data is being converted. It is expected to be completed in two hours.” Shirley’s smile became brighter and brighter. Through the information just cracked, it can be confirmed that the scientific and technological information stored in this scientific research base is very valuable. If it is sold, the loss this time can be fully compensated and some battleships can be added.

Two hours later, after completely emptying the underground base and making sure that there was nothing valuable except the metal walls, Wei Ming threw another strategic nuclear weapon into it.

After all the Marines evacuated the surface of the planet, the armed robots received the final instruction to eliminate all Tok creatures and destroy all man-made facilities.

Tens of thousands of armed robots rushed in all directions, firing various weapons on their bodies and frantically destroying the buildings built by the Tok civilization.

Until the strategic nuclear weapons in the underground base were detonated, the fusion bombs with a damage of tens of thousands of degrees exploded underground, shaking the entire continental shelf. The earthquake and tsunami originally caused by the orbital bombardment of the fleet became more ferocious in the shaking of the continental shelf. High mountains and canyons appeared one after another in a short period of time, and tsunamis hundreds of meters high submerged the earth.

Countless Tok creatures roared in despair, trying to leave this hell on aircraft, but they were all blown up on the spot by the fleet that still remained in orbit.

”There is no justice or injustice between civilizations, only survival and the future.” Michelle watched the Tok creatures running around on the earth being swallowed by earthquakes and tsunamis, but there was no ripple in her heart.

People who have sympathy for aliens cannot be commanders, or even captains of warships. If they cannot pass the psychological test after entering the academy, military-related academies will immediately expel them.

War does not need sympathy, nor does it need the Virgin Mary.

”Order the fleet to carry out orbital bombardment and annihilate all Tok creatures.” After giving the order, Michelle stopped paying attention and went to the conference room to check the harvest with Luo Shaohua and others.
