Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 13 Sirius PiratesChapter 13 Sirius Pirates

According to the star map, after four space jumps, they arrived at the coordinates given by the golden finger. Several spaceships such as the Frog Prince were also waiting in the void.

The target location is a meteorite belt, which seems to be formed by a mixture of subspace and star systems destroyed by war. It is mixed with planetary debris and warship wreckage. It is less than five light-years away from the asteroid belt in the 121 star field. The difference is that this area is not as fast rolling as the asteroid belt, except for the raging of various energy rays, but the density of meteorites is also greater.

”How’s the exploration going?” After arriving here two days ago and discovering that it was a meteorite belt with a diameter of nearly three light years, Liu Wen asked the blue fat man to drop a detector to scan the surrounding and internal conditions first.

The blue fat man called up the star map, on which dozens of light spots were flashing non-stop, and each light spot had a corresponding color covering an area.

”There are many teams exploring this meteorite belt. One team contacted me after discovering me.”

”There are territories divided among each other. Remind me not to explore the territories that others have divided. This can easily lead to conflicts.”

The blue fat man introduced the surrounding teams. They were all small teams or individuals who came here to explore. From time to time, they would find some good things, but they were all about one light year outside. The various energy rays inside were extremely dense and the damage was high, and there were no large asteroids or the like, so basically no one continued to explore inside.

Liu Wen looked at the star map and compared it with the coordinates given by the golden finger. He found that the coordinate location was actually a group of meteorites, and there was not even an asteroid with a diameter of one kilometer.

”There is no dock in a meteorite cluster with a diameter of only a few hundred meters. If there was one, wouldn’t it have been found long ago?”

Liu Wen checked the star map coordinates again in confusion to make sure he had made the right choice. After thinking about it, his eyes lit up. Could it be in the subspace?

”But if it is in the subspace, how can we open it?” Liu Wen frowned and thought.

The subspace either has natural space portals for people to enter and exit, or it is artificially connected using space equipment so that it can be closed and opened autonomously.

Under normal circumstances, there would be a set of equipment inside and outside to maintain operation, but in the current situation, there is a ruin outside, where can we find the equipment to open the door?

The blue fat man didn’t know what Liu Wen was doing here. He thought he was looking for a place to continue mining. After all, he bought a mining ship and had been leaving it unused. The daily fuel consumption was dozens of contribution points. If he had to travel by warp, hundreds or thousands of contribution points would be gone in a day.

”Old Liu, something is wrong.” Fat Blue suddenly shouted.

”What’s wrong? What’s wrong?” Liu Wen looked over in confusion.

The blue fat man pointed at the radar projection and said, ”Look at this part. Is there a light spot of a spacecraft that appears and disappears?”

Liu Wen took a closer look and saw that there were occasional spots of light from spacecraft appearing in the meteorite belt on the radar projection. At first he thought it was an exploration spacecraft of some team, but as he continued to observe, he found that several similar spots of light were gradually approaching the team.

”Look at this, the space has been disturbed and we can’t make a jump now.” The blue fat man said as he looked at the space detector that suddenly popped up.

Liu Wen frowned and said, ”Let’s go, let’s leave the space interference range first.”

The two of them drove the spaceship toward the periphery. At this time, other teams seemed to have discovered the problem. Through the information sent back by the detector, the spaceships of each team began to converge and fly toward the periphery, preparing to leave this meteorite belt.

”Everyone better stay here and don’t move. We are the Sirius Pirates. We only rob people of their wealth and don’t want to use force. Do you understand?”

A man’s voice spread through public communications. Some small teams in the asteroid belt really didn’t dare to move, because they were too deep, more than half a light year away, and it was basically impossible to leave due to space interference.

It’s still okay for those outside the asteroid belt. For those like Liu Wen who have not entered the asteroid belt yet, they can quickly escape the range of space interference after accelerating to sub-light speed. If they cannot leave, it will be impossible to catch up.

The four spaceships gradually accelerated and soon entered sub-light speed flight mode. Just when Liu Wen and Fat Blue breathed a sigh of relief, the spaceship radar suddenly showed that a group of spaceships were flying inwards half a light hour away.

”More than 40 spaceships, more than ten escort-class battleships, and two destroyer-class battleships. With such strength, you come here to rob. Where’s your brain?”

The blue fat man looked at the information on the detection radar, and his blue face almost turned green.

”Hey, I’ve already told you to stay where you are and not rob the money without violence. Why do you have to force me to do it?” The man’s voice came through the communication channel again.

Liu Wen looked at the radar, adjusted the direction and flew towards the direction where the pirates’ force was weak, and the two warships began to charge.

Judging from the opponent’s posture, it is very likely that they are coming for him, because after he left, the spaceships originally inside the asteroid belt also flew outward, and the external interception spaceships just cut off the Star Fleet’s retreat. There are probably a few mining teams here. How stupid would it be to rob them without intercepting the large number of people?

Fat Blue also noticed the anomaly. After looking at the star map, he immediately realized that someone might have leaked the mineral sale.

He glanced at Liu Wen and suggested, ”Old Liu, just abandon the transport ship and the mining ship. The chances of the two warships escaping are greater.”

Liu Wen replied without a second thought: ”It’s no use giving up now. This group of pirates is probably related to those companies that didn’t buy the minerals. They are the only ones who know how much valuables we have.”

As for how he was discovered, isn’t it normal for him to be an undercover agent in a rival company?
Isn’t it a basic operation for a large company that has been operating for a long time to have various small teams to collect intelligence? His battleship has not changed, and the spatial jump fluctuations in the direction he is heading are so obvious, wouldn’t it be clear if we compare the two photos?

Liu Wen sighed, thinking that he was too impatient. He should go back to City 315 and buy a few cruiser-class battleships before leaving. That way, even if the pirates knew he had the goods, they would not dare to touch them.

It’s too late to say anything now. Every failure makes you wiser. This is how experience and lessons are summarized.

Dozens of gunboats and warships surrounded the Xinghai, and the intensity of space interference became increasingly stronger as the spacecraft approached.

Liu Wen looked at the star map, made up his mind, and turned the battleship to fly towards the inside of the asteroid belt. In order to provide cover for the Xinghai, the mining barge took the lead and flew in the front.

A group of pirates watched as several Star Sea spaceships turned around and rushed into the asteroid belt. They encircled the spaceships faster, and the dozen or so spaceships inside also changed direction, preparing to intercept.

The mining barge was originally developed for mining minerals in the asteroid belt, and its anti-collision performance is much stronger than that of ordinary warships.

Therefore, although the speed of the mining ship inevitably began to decrease due to the impact, the energy shield decreased at a faster rate, and it was not far from being scrapped. After all, it was flying at sub-light speed, and every meteorite that hit was equivalent to an electromagnetic cannon hitting the shield. Problems would only arise if the shield was not consumed quickly.

Liu Wen has been trying to choose a place with few meteorites to move forward. Otherwise, if he leads the way, it will be easier for the pirates to catch up. ”Sirlo Pirates, are you targeting me? Who gave you the information?” Liu Wen signaled the blue fat man to detect the path while sending a communication through the public channel, trying to find clues through conversation.

”Haha, smart boy, how did you figure that out? I thought my plan was perfect.” The man asked puzzled.

”Why don’t you tell me who leaked the information?” Liu Wen continued to ask.

”Then don’t even think about it, kid. Be honest. I said I only want to rob you of your money. Don’t force me to inject high-energy pollution into your mind.” The man said in a tone that he was sure of victory.

Liu Wen reminded with disdain: ”Have you forgotten that I am not a life form in the second world? I can’t fight and self-destruct to return to the main universe. I can just give up these spaceships and spend money to buy a body. I also injected high-energy pollution. Can you catch me?”

“How many times can you run away? Your spiritual fluctuations are all in my hands. As long as you appear in the second world, you will never escape from my grasp. Whether to sacrifice your wealth or your life, think carefully.” The man still looked confident.

”Didn’t the person who told you the information tell you how much money I have? I can’t escape from your grasp. Let me see how much your bounty is. It’s only 500,000 contribution points?” Liu Wen opened the Interstellar Alliance bounty and checked the information of the Sirius Pirates. He found that the bounty for this pirate group was not high.

He immediately added five million to it and sent the coordinate information out.

Bounty hunters in 315 cities within the Interstellar Alliance received relevant notifications. Seeing the bounty of million, and the target of small transport ships converted into gunboats, level frigate-class battleships, and two level destroyer-class battleships, many bounty hunters began to call their friends and prepare to take up the bounty.

Apparently, some people in the Sirius Pirates occasionally act as bounty hunters, so when they received the information push and saw that the reward had soared to 5.5 million, they were completely numb.

”Captain, it’s bad. Something big has happened.” Wang Genxiu hurriedly contacted Captain Tianlang.

”What are you doing? Are you crying?” Tianlang was very angry. Didn’t he see that he was struggling with the target?

”Captain, look at the Interstellar Alliance’s bounty. The reward for your head has been increased to 5.5 million contribution points!” Wang Genxiu said anxiously.

Tianlang suspected that he had heard wrongly, five and a half million? Who has so much money to burn? He can’t afford to offend anyone!

Suddenly, as if he thought of something, he turned his head to look at the Xinghai on the radar projection. Was it his doing?

”Did you propose the price for the Interstellar Alliance bounty?” Tianlang asked Liu Wen angrily.

Liu Wen responded calmly: ”Yes, it’s me. It seems that the person who asked you to trouble me didn’t tell you how rich I am.”

”Damn bastard...” Tianlang was going crazy!

”I’ll give you a chance. Who asked you to come to me?” Liu Wen asked again.

”I don’t know. I just received a message saying that you have a large amount of cash.” Tianlang took a deep breath and said, ”Brother, let’s put it this way. I’m wrong. I’ll take my people away right now. How about you withdraw the reward as well?”

Liu Wen replied with a regretful tone: ”Not very good, the bounty I gave is three days, and the coordinates have been given. Whether you can escape depends on your luck.”

”Fuck you!” Tianlang checked the bounty order and found that it had a three-day deadline. He once again expressed his sincere concern for the female family of the person who provided him with the information.

”Everyone, retreat!” Sirius took one last look at the Xinghai, and without hesitation drove the battleship to shut down the space interference, preparing to jump away from this place of trouble.

As a pirate, he knew too well what kind of people bounty hunters were. The bottom line of many bounty hunters was no better than that of pirates, and many pirates would also play the role of bounty hunters.

With 5.5 million contribution points, you can buy three or four brand new destroyer-class battleships, which is enough to attract a large number of sharks to hunt you.

Although the Sirius Pirates have dozens of warships, their actual combat effectiveness is just so-so. They have long lacked systematic maintenance, and the ships they purchased are old models that are several times larger than their own. They can still bully small teams by outnumbering them, but if a real fight breaks out, they may have to lose several gunboats.

Seeing the Sirius Pirates withdraw, Liu Wen also turned off the thrusters and began to slow down. In just over ten minutes, the mining ship was on the verge of being scrapped. If it weren’t for the various mining equipment in front of it, it would have been smashed to pieces if it had been replaced by a transport ship.

After watching the pirate group leave, Liu Wen realized that his coordinates seemed to be not far from the reward coordinates given by the golden finger.

After looking at the mining ship that was almost falling apart, I simply went to the coordinate point to check the situation.

Half an hour later, I arrived at the coordinate location. After repeated scanning, I didn’t find any abnormal spatial frequency. I was wondering how to open it, when the golden finger gave me another startup key.

Liu Wen did not try to open the entrance to the subspace. Now the attention of the entire team was still focused on him. All the teams had received the previous public communications.

After getting the key, he was no longer in a hurry. He planned to go back to the Interstellar Alliance to exchange for a few cruiser-class battleships first. Then he would see if there were any blind people who would come to trouble him.

The spacecraft drew an arc, turned without stopping, and entered the path it had crashed into, accelerating away.

Along the way, Liu Wen clearly noticed that there were more warships heading towards the 121 star field, with several or dozens of ships in a formation, and he encountered more than a dozen formations along the way.

It took more than a week to return to the Interstellar Alliance city. The first thing to do was to throw the mining ship, which was on the verge of being scrapped, into the dock for repairs. An ordinary dock was not enough, so a professional mining ship had to be found for repair.

However, when Fat Blue heard that the repair fee started at 50,000 contribution points, he asked about the recycling price. The other party also gave 50,000, so Fat Blue sold it directly.

Liu Wenzhe entered the Interstellar Alliance as soon as possible and bought citizenship of the Shangxia Republic with the information of the five of them. Each person received 60,000 contribution points, which was almost enough for half a battleship.

After obtaining the citizenship code, Liu Wen purchased the Honorary Lordship of the Blue River Empire as a citizen of the Shangxia Republic. This time he only bought three copies, for him, Fatty Blue and Jack. Each of them only cost 30,000 contribution points, which is not as valuable as the citizenship of the Shangxia Republic. It can only be said that the Blue River Empire is indeed corrupt to a certain extent.

Liu Wen even saw the identity of an earl for sale on the Blue River Empire identity exchange website, which included the corresponding property identity, noble badges, and the whole set, with a total price of less than 1.5 million contribution points.

There are nine ranks in total: king, duke, marquis, earl, viscount, baron, knight, and lord. In the eyes of the Blue River dignitaries, only baron and above titles are considered aristocrats. Those below baron are just a little better than the lower class and need to nod when they meet and greet each other.
