Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 38: Star Pirate AttackChapter 38: Star Pirate Attack
After submitting the information and obtaining normal citizenship, Liu Wen then submitted an incomplete set of level 4 technology trees in the name of the blue fat man and his companions. Sure enough, he received feedback every few minutes. They all obtained normal citizenship. Due to their high contributions, the Shangxia Republic allowed Liu Wen and his companions to choose any administrative star field to settle down, and gave them corresponding real estate and private aircraft, as well as a credit point reward of 100 million per person.

Liu Wen doesn’t care about these miscellaneous rewards. As long as he has formal citizenship and can settle down anywhere, it would be great, which means their safety will no longer be a problem.

I sent a message to Fat Blue and Jack, asking them to arrange for a few people to settle down in Shangxia Republic. As for the relocation of the group, it can only be carried out after they settle down. All employees can only go there with work visas.

”If that’s the case, there seems to be no need to rush to recruit people now. The entrance and exit locations of the subspace can be changed!” Liu Wen pondered the feasibility.

The existence of the subspace is like a barnacle attached to the bottom of a ship. Its position is not fixed, but the larger the space and the greater the mass, the more difficult it is to move the subspace.

”Stop for a moment. I’ll make some arrangements. Mineral collection must proceed, but the scale must be controlled so as not to cause too much conflict with local merchants.”

”Just keep the Starship Fleet safe and protect the station. Maintain the status quo.”

”Let’s put the rest aside for now. I’ve thought of a better way to handle it.” Liu Wen announced the adjournment of the meeting. Amid everyone’s surprised looks, he went to the cockpit to contact Jack and others in the Star Fleet.

”Jack, go to the Interstellar Alliance city and put the Zerg subspace up for auction.” Liu Wen said after the call was connected.

”Boss, are you going to sell this subspace? Why?” Jack was anxious. This was their most important source of money, which could provide long-term and stable funds for the fleet’s expansion.

”We are going to the Shangxia Republic soon. We have to sell everything from the Blue River Empire. All valuable things that cannot be taken away must be sold. Directly transferring people is the safest and fastest way, so it is most appropriate to sell these things. As long as we have the Sera Industrial Zone in our hands, it will be fine.” Liu Wen explained.

”But...” Jack wanted to say something else, but finally agreed: ”I will go to the Interstellar Alliance right now. What about these vassal aliens? They can’t enter the territory of the Shangxia Republic.”

”Let them come to the Sera Industrial Zone and start screwing things in.” Liu Wen came up with this idea after he decided to give up the development of the Blue River Empire. Both the fleet and the manpower could be placed in the Sera Industrial Zone and taken with them when moving to the subspace.

As long as these alien races do not come out of the subspace, the Shangxia Republic will not target them specifically. Liu Wen will then have a group of cheap labor to enrich the industrial system.

He also had ideas about the future arrangements for these alien races, which mainly developed in three directions: low-level workers, Marines, and low-level battleship pilots. All of these were jobs that required high consumption or low technical content. Therefore, there was no need to worry that these alien races would take the opportunity to develop and threaten him.

”I understand, boss.” After Jack knew that Liu Wen had made specific arrangements, he didn’t say anything more. He just turned around and informed Fat Blue to speed up the collection of minerals and make as much profit as possible before selling them.

A few days later, when the Zerg subspace was listed on the Interstellar Alliance auction platform under the name of psychic space, the dignitaries from several surrounding star fields were tempted.

On the planet Dream God, representatives of local dignitaries, led by Rez Carvajal, gathered together.

One earl, two viscounts, and one baron.

”He actually put that subspace up for auction. How dare he do that!” Viscount William Skarr roared in frustration.

He was a newly promoted viscount nobleman in the past hundred years. His family background was not as good as many old barons. He was the first to know that the Star Fleet had information about the subspace, and he was also the person who most urgently wanted to obtain it. Therefore, when he learned that Liu Wen had put the subspace up for auction, he was like a cat with its fur standing on end.

As the chief executive of the Dream God Administrative Star Domain, Rez actually didn’t pay much attention to Liu Wen’s Xinghai Group. After all, Liu Wen was very tactful. He had been here for so long and had brought all the gifts, but he had never taken away anyone’s business. A space station was the only time he showed up.

After learning from an insider that Liu Wen was lucky enough to obtain a subspace left behind by the Zerg, he did nothing except sigh that another noble would rise, because a decent psychic subspace was not worth breaking the rules for this person in power.

”William, what was the result of your previous attempt?” Rez asked slowly.

Hearing Rez’s question, no matter how angry he was, William could only sit down and answer his question honestly: ”Your Excellency, I have passed the message through my military partner, but so far, that gentleman still has not made any response.”

Rez was not surprised by this result at all. He didn’t care much about that small psychic subspace, let alone the man known as the Blue River Lion. He was already surprised that he would take action last time. How do you expect him to react to a subspace?
”The lack of reaction proves that the master doesn’t care about these things. After all, he is a saint. It’s normal for him to look down on them. The income in a year is not as much as what others can earn from traveling around the dimension.”

”According to the rules, I will not and cannot do anything at will. If you want to do anything, just follow the rules.”

”My Lord Earl, I just received news when I came here. Their fleet seems to have developed in the 712 star field. They have built a space station as a base and are now directly selling psychic space. It seems that their discovery is much greater than expected.” Lu Pinliang, the only baron sitting here, said meaningfully.

Rez shook his head. ”That’s not something we can reach out to. The 315 star field is within reach, but as for the 712 star field, if you dare to reach out, they will dare to take ruthless action. You should know this clearly.”

”That’s such a pity.” Lu Pinliang turned to look at William: ”William, what are you going to do?”

”The second world is very dangerous. There are constant natural disasters and man-made tragedies, aren’t there?” William narrowed his eyes slightly, revealing a hint of danger.

Rez knew that he could no longer persuade them, so he could only reiterate that they should act within the rules and did not waste any more words.

Lu Pinliang looked at the people who stood up and left with an interested smile on his face. Within the rules, what are the rules?

The rule is that as long as you are not caught with evidence, the person involved will have no choice. But if someone catches you with evidence, then you have no choice as to whether to bleed or cut flesh or to fight to the death.

Liu Wen knew clearly what the consequences would be if he broke the plan, so on the next day, he quietly took a few people and left Mengshen Star on a transport ship that he had prepared privately, heading towards the Shangxia Republic at the fastest speed.

Because the void between galaxies is too far away, star gates are built between the galaxies to communicate with each other, so that the travel time is shortened to two days from one galaxy to another.

By the time William and others discovered that Liu Wen and his companions had disappeared, several days had passed. It was impossible to find them in the vast sea of stars. It was true that they were powerful, but it was the military, not them, that had the deepest control over the Dream God Star Domain.

In the second world, in the asteroid belt of the 315 star field.

It has been less than three days since the Psychic Subspace was put on the auction house, but it has caused quite a stir. Countless corporate families that are eager to make further progress have set their sights on it, and are willing to sell everything they have to raise enough funds to buy it.

The Star Fleet deployed defense facilities around the Zerg subspace, and a large number of space booby traps were disguised as asteroids and meteorites to form isolation zones.

After receiving Liu Wen’s order, the aliens in the asteroid belt had no choice but to start packing up their belongings, modifying their warships and handing them over to the Star Fleet, after which all personnel and supplies were sent into the transport ships. Sixteen medium-sized transport ships, escorted by two cruiser-class battleships and four destroyer-class battleships, headed towards Thraya space.

Luo Shaohua and his team took turns sitting in the command room to maintain the combat effectiveness of the fleet.

”An abnormal signal was detected outside the asteroid belt. It is a space anchor point. Does it need to be cleared?” After discovering the abnormality, the radar detector immediately asked Luo Shaohua who was on duty.

”If you find any abnormality, clear it immediately. No need to ask questions.” Luo Shaohua ordered immediately.

”Understood.” The radar detector turned around and contacted the space anomaly handling team: ”Coordinates and location... Found the space anchor point, immediately activate the space jammer, space shock wave.”

”Received, the space disruptor has been activated, and the space shock wave has been launched.”

Outside the asteroid belt, several devices hidden in the asteroid were deployed, turned around and emitted space shock waves towards the left coordinate point. The space anchor point that had just been established became unstable in a wave of space shocks. The resulting space interference disrupted the space energy and completely destroyed the anchor point.

But within a few minutes, space anchor points appeared outside the asteroid belt, and even in the holes inside the asteroid belt that had not yet been covered by asteroids, space anchor points appeared. The jump signal was transmitted blatantly in all directions.

”The fleet enters level two combat readiness status and activates defense system number one.” When Luo Shaohua saw this scene, he knew that space interference alone could no longer prevent the opponent from jumping. The time was too short and the funds were limited. They could not cover the entire asteroid belt with space interference.

The Star Fleet currently has only more than 20 warships, and a bunch of miscellaneous alien modified warships. Its combat power is much stronger than the original Star Fleet. In addition to the defensive weapons that have been urgently deployed during this period, it is still no problem to defend the Zerg subspace. If it really doesn’t work, it can retreat to the interior of the subspace. It is basically impossible for the other party to come in, unless it is a military fleet.

Therefore, Luo Shaohua was not panicked at all. No matter who came, as long as they were dragged into the subspace and auctioned off, they had to get out quickly, otherwise they would face attacks from both inside and outside.

”Target found. The other party’s jump point is located in area 15 inside the asteroid belt. The jump signal is strong and the jump energy level is level three.”

”Target jump completed. One level VI cruiser, ten destroyer-class battleships, eighteen frigate-class battleships, four level 5 battleships, fifteen cruisers, thirty-two destroyers, fifty-seven frigates, and two reconnaissance ships.”

Luo Shaohua and Shirley stood together, looking at the projection sent back by the detector. They quickly realized that this was someone’s white glove. The warship was too complicated and was probably formed by the merger of several teams.

”The other side may have high-level psychics, and our defense has weaknesses.” Shirley associated the other side’s jump point with a traitor in the fleet, and deduced that the other side must have prepared an attack targeting the Star Fleet’s weaknesses.

”The cannon fodder fleet is ready to engage in battle, the No. 2 defense network continues to hide, the No. 1 defense network is ready to fight, activate all space mines, let me see who is coming.” Even though Luo Shaohua had the confidence to hold on, he still did not neglect his duty at all. Instead, he first let the cannon fodder fleet use the asteroid belt to test the opponent’s firepower situation.

”I found out that the logo on the enemy’s warship is the Black Dragon Pirates, a pirate team that used to be on Paradise Island. They are even more difficult to deal with in the second world.” Shirley handed Luo Shaohua a piece of information.

Luo Shaohua took a quick look and then shook his head: ”It’s not them. The Black Dragon Pirates were targeted by Shangguan Xi. Whether it was the main universe or the second world, the fleet was destroyed. Duanmu Yiyong was sent to the front line as a death squad. How could they be so strong?”

The pirate fleet flying the banner of the Black Dragon Pirates seemed to have been active in the asteroid belt for a long time. They were heading towards the subspace with ease, and the asteroids along the way did not cause any hindrance to them.

”Hehe, it seems that the level of their traitor is not low. They can access the star map.” Luo Shaohua looked at several figures thoughtfully. The star map is such an important thing that even battleships below the destroyer level do not have it. Only battleships above the cruiser level have complete star maps. Other battleships and spaceships only have temporary route maps, which are one-time. The other party can avoid asteroids so easily, obviously not with that kind of disposable route map.

More than ten minutes later, the Black Dragon Pirates reached the first line of defense. The artificially modified asteroids were more dense, and a large number of meteorite fragments filled the gaps between the asteroids. Among them, many camouflaged space mines were moving silently towards the pirate fleet.

Behind the asteroids, the alien warships were modified with remote control equipment and were remotely controlled by dozens of crew members. The naval guns that were ready to fire turned their directions and were ready to launch a fierce attack at any time.

The Black Dragon Pirates have a total of 138 warships, with the escort-class warships in the front row, advancing in a skirmish line. Various detection radars are scanning the surrounding situation unscrupulously, and through cross-scanning, many hidden alien warships have been discovered.

”Enemy ships are within range.”

”Defense system number one is ready to fire, waiting for the space booby trap to detonate.”

”The cannon fodder fleet starts its propulsion engines and heads towards the agreed route.”

”Defense network number two is on standby.”

After the Black Dragon Pirates discovered the alien warships hidden behind the asteroid, the fleet formation changed again, with the main battleship in the center to provide support, the ship’s guns charged and ready to fire, the destroyers and frigates moving around in front, using the asteroid’s cover to fly towards the alien fleet.

The space booby traps mixed in the meteorite group formed a pocket formation. After the Black Dragon Fleet plunged into it, it immediately activated the propulsion engine and slammed into the nearest pirate warship. The internal antimatter restraint field was closed and the annihilation reaction suddenly broke out.

At the same time, the defensive turrets on the asteroids tore off their camouflage, revealing their gun muzzles, and fired a salvo at the pirate fleet.

The alien cannon fodder fleet followed closely behind, advancing along the designated course. At this time, it just reached the shooting window. Hundreds of warships fired another round of salvos. Various energy columns, particle beams, electromagnetic cannons, neutron cannons, missiles, etc., all fired at the pirate fleet. The fierce offensive instantly increased the output to the limit.

The pirate warships’ energy shields were destroyed, their armor melted, and they turned into blooming fireworks.

The pirate fleet was suddenly covered by fire and immediately began to shrink its formation, fully starting its propulsion engines and steering engines for emergency evasion.

The naval guns fired at the exposed defense platforms without hesitation. Compared with the warships whose movement trajectories were unpredictable, these asteroid fixed turrets were the easiest to bully and had the most accurate firepower strikes, so their strike priority was naturally higher.
