Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 37: Development of the Sela Industrial ZoneChapter 37: Development of the Sela Industrial Zone

”It will take eight days?”

Laura entered working mode, and Liu Wen also prepared to call a meeting to discuss the development of this subspace.

Walking out of the underground base, the space elevator above our heads began to resume operation after replenishing energy and is currently undergoing inspection and maintenance.

In the subspace, several shipyard factories also ignited their reactors one by one and began to repair themselves.

These factory equipment left over from the last era all have two energy supply systems, one fusion reactor and one antimatter reactor. The energy output efficiency is generally higher than today’s synthetic element reactors, but the safety is far inferior.

Whether it is a fusion reactor or an antimatter reactor, once a leak occurs, the result will be the destruction of the ship and the death of people. However, in a synthetic element reactor, even if a leak occurs, it will not cause too big a problem. The problem can be easily solved by cutting off the fuel supply and speeding up the extraction and transportation of energy.

In comparison, fusion reactors and antimatter reactors are both weapons and fuel. Antimatter materials, in particular, are extremely troublesome to store and can be used as high-risk weapons if simply thrown out.

Synthetic elements, such as synthetic element 92 used by Star Fleet and Galaxy Fleet, are the most common fuel for civilian ships. They are cheap, have stable bursts, are highly safe, and can be replenished at all jump points.

Antimatter is too dangerous to store and transport, so it is not available for sale at conventional jump points. The fuel replenished in the subspace now comes from gases extracted from gas planets in the star system for use as fusion fuel. Since there are no professional engineering ships, the Galaxy Fleet sent more than 20 spaceships to assist the transport ships to get enough fuel to sustain operations for half a year.

If you want to fully operate this subspace in the future, various ores, metals, equipment, fuel, labor, etc., you can’t do it without investing hundreds of millions of contribution points and spending a few months to work on it.

Back at the command ship, all the Galaxy Fleet managers were present.

Originally, Luo Shaohua was going to attend the meeting on behalf of the Star Fleet, but was rejected by Liu Wen, who asked him to take the Star Fleet warships back to the 315 star field to guard the Zerg subspace. The fleet was not strong to begin with, and now most of its forces have been withdrawn. Its defenses have become so weak that it can be taken down by a more famous interstellar pirate.

”Everyone is here, let’s start the meeting now.”

Liu Wen stood up and pulled out a projection: ”This is the basic information of the subspace. From now on, it will be called the Sera Industrial Zone.”

”As you can see, the Sera Industrial Zone has a fairly complete industrial system. After restoration and replenishment, it can build three series of general-purpose warships for humans. The data of the warships is basically the same as that of military warships. This is a huge fortune, but also a huge crisis.”

”If we take control of this industrial zone, the development of the fleet will be unstoppable, and it will be a solid and powerful step towards our goal of foreign expansion.”

”If we can’t control it and the information is leaked, then we will just be making things worse. Maybe for the sake of information security, everyone here, including me, will have to go to see the ancestors.”

”Everyone present here is a carefully selected elite, and they all have their own dreams and are willing to fight for them. I believe that no one here will give up this benefit.”

”However, for the sake of fairness, and to allow all of us to work wholeheartedly towards our goal, all of us need to sign a confidentiality agreement under the notarization of the Interstellar Alliance. Do you have any objections?”

Liu Wen looked down at everyone, and the ferocity hidden in his eyes made everyone present feel frightened.

When Liu Wen asked, in the outside space station, hundreds of armed robots had surrounded the Galaxy Fleet landing capsule and blocked external communications. Once someone showed any abnormality, Liu Wen would not mind sending them to see his ancestors. Sera space was too important, hundreds of times more important than Zerg space.

The Zerg Space only has the hope of becoming the group’s money bag, and this is also the cornerstone of his success. If it were not for the fact that suddenly abandoning the Zerg Space now would easily attract prying eyes, he would not hesitate to gather all his strength to defend the Sera Space.

Although everyone didn’t know what happened in the main space station, they were aware of the importance of the Sera Industrial Zone. It was normal for any company team to sign a confidentiality agreement when encountering such a thing, so no one stood up to object and said anything like freedom of speech or other nonsense.

Liu Wen submitted a notarization application to the Interstellar Alliance Notary Office, and an illusory projection of a scale appeared in the conference room. No one thought there was anything wrong, as everyone knew the strength of the Interstellar Alliance.

Under the notarization of the Interstellar Alliance, everyone signed a confidentiality agreement. After signing, Liu Wen spent another 15 million contribution points to apply for confidentiality supervision, and the second world and the main universe were handled simultaneously.

Although he knew that as time went by, the situation in the Sera Industrial Zone was bound to be leaked, as an industrial zone, a large amount of resources flowed in and out, and it was not difficult for someone interested to find problems, the only difficulty was obtaining the specific information inside.

However, at the current stage, he should conceal the truth as long as possible. As long as the Sera Industrial Zone resumes normal production, his strength will become stronger day by day. The longer he delays, the better it will be for him.

”Okay, now please bring forward any suggestions you have, and we’ll do our best.” While watching everyone checking the information, Liu Wen was thinking that the body of the main universe should be moved. After all, the Blue River Empire was still not safe. Although there were conveniences, the potential threats were also growing.

Now is not the time to simply give up some interests to preserve ourselves. We still have to go to the Shangxia Republic to develop with peace of mind, without having to worry about being shot seven times in the back and committing suicide one day.

Bai Haitang and his companions knew that this subspace had huge benefits. After all, there were several docks and space stations, as well as an industrial city. However, after reading the information, they found that the benefits were extraordinary. After reading it, everyone’s hands were shaking, not because they were afraid, but because they were too excited.

”Boss, is this true? A complete set of industrial production materials for level five battleships?!” Tian Jian’s voice was trembling. This was really shocking, a complete industrial chain. Even if it was the general technology of level five technology, except for those pioneering lords, no team or company in all human countries could possess it.

”No wonder the boss is so cautious. Boss, let’s change our contract to a lifetime contract.” Deng Jingting took a deep breath and suggested to Liu Wen. The others looked at her, and their surprised eyes turned into envy and admiration after a few seconds. She really dared to gamble!

The heads of the Logistics Department and the Operations Department remained silent, because they did not need to speak in this meeting and only needed to wait for the results.

With the previous experience of Deng Jingting, Tian Jian, chief adjutant of the Star Sea Fleet, and Zhang Dong, chief of staff, also expressed their willingness to sign lifetime contracts after Deng Jingting proposed it. However, the gap between them had already widened invisibly.

”Let’s talk about the contract later. Let’s discuss the next development issues first.” Liu Wen did not take up the topic, but continued to discuss the main topic.

”Chairman,” Tian Jian said, ”The importance of the Sera Industrial Zone is unquestionable. A complete fifth-level battleship production line will allow the Xinghai Group’s fleet to expand rapidly. Whether it is for external sales or self-use, a large amount of mineral resources is needed, and this is the most fatal point for us.”

”If we resell them and make a profit from the price difference, the dignitaries in Star Region 712 will fight back against us, but it will be limited to normal commercial friction. However, as the mineral resources only flow in but not out, they will soon realize that something is wrong and deduce the general situation. Then Xinghai Group will face a comprehensive attack from these dignitaries. It is very likely that all of us will disappear quietly during this period or become rebels who collude with the evil god and be eliminated by the military.”

”Without absolute strength to protect existing interests, I suggest that you use this as a trump card to contact a few powerful people with great reputation and strength to preserve some of your interests.”

”No, doing so will simply hand our future over to the hands of those powerful people. There will be no security at all. Our destiny cannot be in the hands of others.” Chief of Staff Zhang Dong immediately rejected the idea.

”Instead of entrusting our fate to those greedy and powerful people, it is better for us to develop on our own, reduce the supply of resources, and gradually accumulate strength. In the main universe, we can also find a way to move away from the corrupt Blue River Empire and go to the more just Shangxia Republic. As long as we can develop stably, the future of the group will still be bright.”

”I agree with Staff Officer Zhang’s suggestion. The nobles of the Blue River Empire are gluttons who can never be satisfied. We are restricted by the laws of the human kingdom in the main universe and cannot have enough armed forces to protect ourselves. Then, going to the more fair and just Shangxia Republic is the best choice. Even if the nobles of the Blue River Empire are jealous, they will not confront the Shangxia Republic because of this. As long as we give up a little more profit, these nobles will in turn become our best partners.” Adjutant Deng Jingting stood up and said.

”I have been thinking about going to the Shangxia Republic, but in view of the immigration laws of the Shangxia Republic, even if I already have citizenship of the Shangxia Republic, I still cannot move the entire group there. If I want to obtain a formal identity, I must make sufficient contributions to the republic, which is difficult.” Liu Wen said helplessly. It’s not that he didn’t want to go, but he could only obtain honorary citizenship at the beginning and could not become a formal citizen.

“Chairman, this may have been difficult in the past, but it is not difficult for you now. We have ready-made contributions to obtain citizenship, and even several of us can obtain citizenship.” Deng Jingting said with a smile.

”The complete set of fifth-level battleship technical data from the last era still has very high scientific research value for the Shangxia Republic. As long as the boss submits it, citizenship will not be a problem at all.”

Liu Wen was stunned. It seemed to be true. Every civilization was trying to obtain the technology tree of other civilizations. This was not only because of the rich application of technology, but also because the differences in the technological concepts of each civilization led to different scientific research directions, which made the technology trees of the same development direction different. In comparison, the progress of civilization will increase day by day.

After being pointed out by Deng Jingting, Liu Wen immediately linked to the official website of the Shangxia Republic and submitted a set of technical data on the construction of universal human warships of the Sera tribe in his own name through the Interstellar Alliance.

The meeting continued, but the topic of how to protect interests was skipped and the discussion turned to how to develop and utilize.

”Chairman, how authentic is this battleship data?” Bai Haitang asked, pointing to the Sera tribe’s general series of battleship data.

”The relevant data is being integrated and translated, but the specific data will definitely change. The gap between the warships will not be as big as it is now.” Liu Wen was also shocked before, so when he saw Bai Haitang’s question, he also understood why the other party questioned the authenticity of the data.

”This data is too exaggerated. I cannot plan the next development plan based on this data. The difference between level 5 technology and level 6 technology, even between civilian and military use, is still not as big as the difference in this data. I suggest that the relevant arrangements can be discussed after the specific data is compared. Now we can open the mineral market and purchase the corresponding mineral raw materials to accumulate for future production.”

”The commander’s suggestion is very pertinent.” Tian Jian agreed immediately.

After comparing the data, Zhang Dong suggested: ”Not only should we open up mineral acquisition, but we should also recruit corresponding talents in the main universe. The group cannot rely on these level 5 battleships to expand beyond the borders. At least a level 6 scientific and technological corps is needed to have sufficient survival guarantee. Therefore, scientific researchers who promote technological upgrades are indispensable, and the establishment of a scientific research institute is also urgent.”

”There is no need to worry too much about the research institute. The group’s top priority now is to maintain it, not to develop it.” Deng Jingting denied: ”Only by maintaining the industrial park can we have enough strength and economy to recruit scientific researchers to set up a research institute to promote scientific and technological progress.”

Liu Wen also agreed with the other party’s suggestion and said, ”According to the current situation of the Sera Industrial Zone, we must first find a way to resume production, which requires sufficient mineral resources. After resuming production, the warships produced in the early stage must first be replenished in the fleet. Only after the fleet expansion is completed and sufficient to protect the Sera Industrial Zone can we consider scientific research issues.”

“So what we need to do now are two things, first, open up mineral acquisitions, and second, expand the fleet.”

After hearing this, Bai Haitang knew what he should do. There was no problem with the mineral acquisition, as long as the information was released. In order to avoid conflict with these local businessmen, he had to lower the price to ensure that they were not intending to steal business, right?

If the fleet is to be expanded, recruiting personnel is the most troublesome thing. Local personnel must not be used because the interests involved are too great and it is difficult to guarantee the loyalty of the personnel. Therefore, we can only recruit from other places according to the previous strategy.

”General Staff...” Before Liu Wen could finish his words, the information from the Shangxia Republic interrupted his thoughts.

”Mr. Liu Wen, according to the contribution award submitted by the Republic’s Research Institute, your civil rights have been upgraded, your military rights have been upgraded, and your business rights have been upgraded. The Republic thanks you for your support and contribution.”

This vague notice made Liu Wen very happy. He checked his citizenship immediately and confirmed that he had become an official citizen of the Shangxia Republic and had obtained the right to vote and be elected. He laughed out loud with joy.

”Hahaha, with citizenship, the group can move to the Shangxia Republic. The group’s safety will no longer be a problem. Next, we only need to focus on development, utilization, and the expansion of the fleet.”
