Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 10 Alien Flathead BrotherChapter 10 Alien Flathead Brother

”Why are all these things happening at the same time?” While driving the battleship out of the asteroid belt, Liu Wen lamented his bad luck and misfortune.

”Boss, those two alien warships are still chasing us. According to the current speed, they will catch up in two to three hours at most.” Frog was very nervous. On the one hand, he was worried about his friends in the infant nursery, and on the other hand, he was worried about the two alien warships behind him.

This time is different from fighting two mining ships. The mining ships are just fixed targets and their combat effectiveness is not high. Warships are built for combat. Neither of them is a genius and can teach themselves the course of fleet command. What’s more, they haven’t learned it yet. They only use the methods in the game. It is hard to say how much they can achieve in reality.

On the other side, the blue fat man hurriedly logged off, ran to the hangar, and drove the shuttle to Paradise Island.

I wanted to connect to the Paradise Island network, but found that the network had been shut down and even personal communications were not working.

Fortunately, the Xinghai battleship was parked not far from Paradise Island. With the blue fat man’s best efforts, he could see Paradise Island with a thick shield raised after more than ten minutes. Countless aircraft were flying in the sky, and many spaceships collided with each other in a hurry to get out of the dock. Flames spread in the void.

Defensive turrets rose up one after another on the ring road of Paradise Island, and dense defensive weapons were aimed at the starry sky. The blue fat man could even see teams of pirate ships gathering in the void through the optical zoom lens of the shuttle.

”How can we get in?” The fat blue man looked at the entrance and exit of Paradise Island, which was now filled with various aircraft flying out. Many of them collided and crashed at the entrance. The people driving the aircraft were like crazy.

”The butcher hasn’t arrived yet? You guys are so anxious!” The fat blue man cursed but could not find a chance to enter.

In desperation, he remembered the contact information Liu Wen gave him and tried to call him immediately.

”Hello, who is it? Tell me what you want. We’re busy right now.” The Jilong man sounded extremely impatient.

”I want to take a few people away from the Paradise Island Infant and Child Cultivation Center. One hundred thousand credit points per person.” The blue fat man said hurriedly.

”One hundred thousand per person? Infant and toddler training center?” The Jilong man was stunned for several seconds before he spoke: ”It’s not impossible, but you also know the current situation. It’s very difficult to get them safely outside Paradise Island. You might run slower because of the people and get blocked by the butcher’s fleet, so we have to pay more.”

”Fifteen thousand per person. If that doesn’t work, I’ll find someone else.” The blue fat man knew that the other party was ripping him off, but now he couldn’t even get in, so it would be best if he could solve the problem by spending credit points.

”Great! Give me the list and wait at this coordinate. It will take at most half an hour to arrive.”

The Jilong man grinned and handed the task to the younger brother next to him: ”Asan, send these people out through Channel 3. There are people waiting outside. Here is the customer’s contact information. After you complete it, each person will be rewarded with 10,000 credit points.”

The human youth, Asan, showed joy on his face. He quickly received the information and then drove the hovercraft with his younger brothers to fly to the infant training center.

He glanced at the departing hovercraft and ignored it, instead urging his younger brothers to pack up their belongings: ”Hurry up, the Butcher Fleet will be away from Paradise Island in at most an hour. If you don’t want to be stuffed into the fusion reactor as fuel, speed up!”

When the brothers wearing exoskeleton armor heard that they were being stuffed into the fusion reactor as fuel, they all sped up a little, because this was not to scare them, the butcher really liked to do this kind of thing.

The blue fat man was getting anxious as he waited outside, watching the aircraft in the sky avoid the interior of the galaxy and fly toward the outside of the star disk. He probably guessed the direction from which the butcher’s fleet was coming.

”It’s a pity that I can’t connect to the Internet now, and I can’t get any information at all. I still have to think about where to escape to next.” The only thing the blue fat man could think of was to escape, and escape as far away as possible.

When Asan and his men arrived at the infant and toddler care center, it was in chaos. Everyone knew that danger was coming, and those who could run had already run. The only ones left were a group of new generations who were under 18 years old and did not even have an identity code and could not leave through the smart surveillance.

If Ah San and his men had come here to pick someone up before the incident, they would have had to spend a large sum of money to take the person away, and they would have had to do it quietly without letting anyone know.

Now all the people in charge inside have run away, leaving only the intelligent AI to supervise everything, so the three of them easily destroyed the lines, cut off the monitoring equipment and opened the door.

In the infant and toddler nursery, many people saw the main door open and shouted for the inner door to be opened as well.

Asan and his two companions didn’t care about all that. Based on the customer’s information, they broke through one security door after another and found the people the customer needed. They knocked them out regardless of whether they were willing or not and then took the hovercraft towards the ring city.

By the time Asan sent Little Fox and the others out of Paradise Island, Liu Wen in the second world also drove his battleship out of the asteroid belt.

”Wa Zi, you go to the cargo ship and take away all the minerals. I will stay here to see the situation. If they dare to chase us out, we will fight!” Liu Wen scattered more than a dozen detectors around the channel along the way. Even without radar, he could instantly control the surrounding area within a dozen light seconds.

Frog quickly ran to the transport ship and overclocked the binding field. The combined mining barge towed more than 2 billion cubic meters of mineral meteorites towards the nearest space channel node. Due to the large amount of things being towed, the speed could only reach 2% of the sub-light speed. Any faster and the binding field would collapse.

After releasing the minerals, Liu Wen controlled the battleship’s artillery to charge and quietly lurked back into the asteroid belt. The two battleships each found a larger asteroid to hide their bodies.

Two Jacobson warships flew outward along the route that Liu Wen left. After reaching the asteroid belt, the speed of the warships had to be reduced, and they could not even maintain sub-light speed.

Since they did not survey the route in advance and followed the movement trajectory of the Star Fleet detected by radar, their progress was much more difficult. Many asteroids had been re-filled into the route, forcing the two warships of the Jacobson clan to avoid asteroids from time to time.

”Bang!” An invisible vibration sound was transmitted into the warship through the squeezing of the protective shield.

”It’s a space booby trap. Those humans have set up space booby traps in here!” A crew member reported to the captain with gritted teeth.

The captain of the Jacobson tribe also hated Liu Wen very much, but unfortunately he had not caught up with him yet.

”Be careful to dodge, and quickly catch up and destroy those human spaceships.”

Inside the Xinghai, a space booby trap was detonated while watching the information being transmitted back: ”They really caught up with us. Instead of lingering in the 121 star field, they actually dared to chase us out. This race really bears grudges. Are they alien flatheads?”

Liu Wen silently started the reactor, turned the weapon energy supply to the maximum, and various equipment began to preheat, with the muzzle aimed at the inside of the asteroid belt.

More than ten minutes later, two warships with energy shields appeared from behind the asteroid.

”Start the thrusters, charge all artillery fire, start the interception force field, start the deceleration force field, start the interference force field.”

When the two alien warships turned to avoid an asteroid with a diameter of hundreds of kilometers, Liu Wen acted decisively, activated the thrusters and flew out from behind the asteroid. The two warships simultaneously focused their fire on an alien warship that had just flown out from behind the asteroid.

The combined damage of the two warships was as high as 5,000. Even if they didn’t hit the target, a lot of damage would have been overflowed.

When the Xinghai battleship launched its attack, the alien warship was discovered because of the high concentration of energy, but because it was isolated by many asteroids, the detection radar was somewhat vague about the warship’s coordinates.

By the time the attack trajectory was determined, it was too late for the alien warship to make an emergency evasive maneuver. The laser beam and particle beam hit the warship’s shield almost simultaneously. The 3,000-degree energy shield lasted for less than a second before being broken. The gamma rays that followed swept across the spacecraft. The Jacobsons are also a biological organization. Under the sweep of high-power gamma rays, the Jacobsons in the warship were annihilated into ashes in the blink of an eye.

Attacks from laser cannons and other weapons only melted a long scratch on the warship, but gamma rays did not damage the warship’s armor much, but instead destroyed the equipment and organisms inside.

By the time the second Yaxon warship appeared, that warship had lost power and was floating in the void, with its internal equipment damaged and unable to be remotely controlled. It used the rolling asteroid to dodge the opponent’s firepower counterattack, then drilled out from under the asteroid and focused fire on the alien warship again.

This time the salvo only grazed the edge, knocking down a lot of the alien warship’s energy shield, but did not penetrate it.

The Yaxon warships also followed behind the asteroid, occasionally popping up to fire a few shots at the Xinghai. Even with the interception force field and the deceleration force field, it didn’t have much effect with the asteroid blocking it.

Compared with the flexibility and maneuverability of the Yaxon battleship, after losing the advantage of surprise attack, Liu Wen’s weakness of not understanding tactical command was undoubtedly exposed. Faced with the elusive enemy, he still could not do anything to the enemy even if he knew which asteroid the enemy was behind. Instead, he was hit by several shells.

”This won’t work. If we keep dragging it on like this, what if they send reinforcements?” Liu Wen frowned as he looked at the radar projection, just in time to see an alien warship being hit by an asteroid.

Liu Wen commanded the Frog Prince to use the binding force field and traction beam to trap the alien warships, and then flew out of the asteroid belt openly.

The Xinghai hid behind the asteroid, charged its turret, and aimed at the asteroid where the Jacobson battleship was hiding.

Sure enough, when they saw that the Frog Prince did not come to surround them, but instead towed their scrapped warships towards the periphery, they could no longer bear it, found a transparent window to drill out, and fired a salvo at the Frog Prince.

Liu Wen had been waiting for the other party for a long time. Since the Jacobson tribe could calculate the window period, he could naturally calculate it as well. Therefore, as soon as the other party showed up, he was locked onto by the Xinghai.

The blazing white light beam and the orange-yellow particle beam fired at the same time, but the gamma ray was a second late. The Frog Prince fired synchronously and slowed down and turned, using the alien warship towed behind it to block half of the damage.

The firepower of the two warships hit the Jacobson warship head-on, and the first scene was played out again. The gamma rays penetrated the warship’s armor and destroyed the internal equipment, causing the Jacobson warship to stop immediately and could only fly by inertia.

To be on the safe side, Liu Wen launched another round of gamma ray attacks at it, washing it thoroughly. After making sure that even the objects hiding in the safety cabin could not be saved, he drove two warships and towed the two alien warships out.

As soon as he left the asteroid belt, he hurriedly contacted Frog and asked him to come back quickly. The minerals were too valuable, and he was really afraid that there would be a spaceship passing by nearby, which would kill Frog, rob him and run away.

Upon hearing that his boss had dealt with the pursuing alien warships, Frog’s two big eyes narrowed into slits with laughter, and he immediately turned around and ran back.

”Robbery target: the Jacobson tribe
Number of robberies: 2
Looting: Severely damaged two Level 4 escort warships of the Jaxon clan. ”

”Rewards have been issued: 1. Two hundred severely damaged Jacquesson IV frigate warships; 2. Twenty IV frigate construction materials and frigate warship production docks. You can choose one of the two rewards this time.”

”Hmm? So generous, you won’t let me find the shipyard myself, right?” Liu Wen deeply suspected that the reward from the golden finger was not that easy to get, just like the previous reward of minerals that he had to dig for himself, and finally encountered an alien warship. It was hard to say whether this thing deliberately lured him here to continue fighting with the opponent.

”I choose two.” Choice one is definitely not an option. The Jacobson warships can only be taken back and sold to repair stations and docks with modification capabilities. After repair and modification and filling with equipment, they can be sold to individuals or teams who cannot afford genuine warships.

”Sure enough.” Liu Wen curled his lips. He got another coordinate and a set of identity verification codes. After comparing them with the star map, he found that he was on the other side of the 121 star field, with a straight-line distance of about seventy light miles.

But then he became excited again. To build a shipyard, to be able to build frigate-class battleships, there should at least be a complete system from high-energy alloy smelting and molding to hull assembly. If I understood correctly, there should also be a supporting equipment production line. At least there should be various supporting equipment in reserve.

Liu Wen didn’t have much hope for a complete set of equipment production line. It was not something that could be accomplished with just a simple production line. It represented all kinds of supporting facilities that only a civilization could possess.

From small screws to large jump engines, curvature engines and the like, no matter how integrated they are, it will take more than tens of thousands of corresponding factories to provide them.

It is impossible to give yourself a complete industrial system just by grabbing two badly damaged warships. You have to mine the mines rewarded by the golden finger yourself.

Liu Wen really wanted to drive the warship over there right now to see what was at the coordinate point, but when he saw the outline of the transport ship gradually emerging, he quickly gave up the idea.

Frog piloted the spacecraft to gradually slow down and bind the minerals to the edge of the asteroid belt. It looked like he was dragging asteroids in the asteroid belt for mining, which was not too conspicuous.

A medium-sized transport ship can only carry 8 million cubic meters of minerals. Based on the current mining ship’s speed of 300 cubic meters per hour, it will take at least 1,100 days, or a little over three years, to be fully loaded. And it will take nearly twenty years to separate all the psychic minerals.

This time is too long, but it is impossible to just drag it back like this. At a sub-light speed of 1 or 2%, it would take hundreds of years to fly to the nearest route node, which would take even longer.

Just as Liu Wen was looking at the minerals and worrying about how to get them back, he heard an alarm sounding outside. He suddenly remembered that the Butcher seemed to have brought a fleet to Paradise Island, and the blue fat man had gone to pick up the little fox and the other two.

After logging off and walking out of the room, Fatty Blue was standing by the door: ”Lao Liu, I picked up all three of Jack, and it cost me more than 400,000 credit points.”

”It’s good that everyone is okay. You can earn money again after spending it. Where are they?” Liu Wen asked hurriedly when he didn’t see the three people.

”They are still sleeping. The people who picked them up injected them with sleeping drugs. I checked them in the medical cabin and found that they will wake up after sleeping for another day. There are no side effects.” The fat blue man explained.

Liu Wen hurried to the medical warehouse to check the situation. Looking at the three people sleeping soundly inside, he read the examination report and found that they were indeed just unconscious. He felt much calmer.

”By the way, what exactly is going on with the Butcher Fleet?” Liu Wen asked the blue fat man as he walked towards the cockpit.

”The butcher was originally imprisoned in the Royal Guards, but for some reason this time, with royal authorization, she was allowed to lead her fleet for reorganization and training. Then, she inexplicably appeared in the airspace of Paradise Island and was discovered by the detection radar.”

The blue fat man also looked depressed. If the space interference equipment deployed by the Butcher Fleet on Paradise Island had not interfered with the space jump after discovering the fleet, the other party would have been able to directly kill their way to Paradise Island. Now, at least the pirates have more than an hour to react.

”Where does the Butcher’s fleet come from?” Liu Wen was also very uncomfortable. Their camp was born pirates. What’s more, the Butcher didn’t care whether you were willing to be a pirate or not. He would always kill you all at once, fearing that there would be endless killing.

”Coming from the inner side of the galaxy, they should have used the military star gate to jump directly here.” Fat Blue said, ”I saw before that many spaceships were heading to the outer side of the star disk. Should we stay away from Paradise Island as well?”

Liu Wen thought about it and chose not to follow the main force. He casually threw two detectors around Paradise Island and after setting the coordinates, he started the spacecraft and flew out to the side, turning on the detection radar all the way to prevent himself from being surrounded.

On the other side, outside Paradise Island, after integrating the data sent back by the detector, the scene surprised Liu Wen and others.

According to the detection results of the detector radar, Paradise Island is in the void, and a total of five large space stations have formed a defense network. In addition, a total of more than one hundred pirate fleets of all sizes are on high alert in the void.

The total number of warships has exceeded two thousand. Although most of them are just pirate gunboats, behind them is the land-based defense system of Paradise Island, and the overall firepower output is not weak at all.

Points of light gradually appeared in the distant void, and warships were approaching Paradise Island in an X formation.

After specifically checking the models of the warships of the Butcher Fleet, Liu Wen and the blue fat man’s faces became even worse. The lowest were level five escort-class battleships, and the highest were two light motherships, plus a total of thirty level five battleships. With a length of nearly eight kilometers, it was like a shadow shrouding the pirates’ minds.
