Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 34 Another SubspaceChapter 34 Another Subspace
Conference room of the Second World Command Ship.

After receiving the message from Fat Blue, Liu Wen went online to check the situation. As soon as he arrived, he found that several people were already waiting in the conference room.

”What’s going on that has you all waiting here?” Now, in order to save time and gain more benefits in the subspace, every key point of the plan of taking advantage of the power of others needs someone to execute and formulate it. Suddenly everyone gathered together to contact him urgently, which proves that something big has gone wrong.

”Chairman, it’s like this. Someone from the military just contacted us.” Shirley stood up and said.

”315 Administrative Star Region, Patrol Fleet, someone contacted us on their behalf. The reason is the problem of alien races in the asteroid belt. But from what they said, I guess the person in charge of dealing with these alien races suffered losses, so he wants to get compensation from us.”

”It’s just because of the previous battle between the psychic battleship and the hive that they contacted us now, and their tone is quite gentle, without any intention of strong oppression.”

Liu Wen frowned: ”What exactly do they mean? Should we take the usual commission?”

”Is there any other mention of the subspace?”

Shirley looked uncertain and said, ”The subspace didn’t mention it. It seems that they don’t know about it at all. It may also be that their positions are too low and they don’t understand the plans of the military leaders.”

”When they contacted me, they only mentioned humanity’s policies and laws regarding aliens, as well as the military’s attitude toward aliens in the asteroid belt, but they didn’t make it clear what they wanted.”

Luo Shaohua shook his head: ”The biggest problem is the lack of a clear attitude. They mean to let us name our own prices. If they are satisfied, they will turn a blind eye and will not target us. If they are not satisfied, they can start with the law and cause trouble for us openly.”

”Although it is illegal for us to sign a vassal contract, it is not against the law either. They can only target us from two directions.”

”The first is a fine. A huge fine will be imposed for not filing an application.”

”Second, make the vassal contract truly legal, enforce the development order, and send all of us outside the territory to develop.”

”Then won’t all our resources here be wasted?” The blue fat man became anxious when he heard this. No matter which plan they chose, they would suffer a huge loss. The most serious one was to enforce the development order, which would be like killing someone with a borrowed knife. With their strength, they would leave the human territory. Without the protection of the human kingdom, they would be eaten alive as soon as they went out.

Shirley suggested: ”I calculated based on the transaction records of the alien race before, and the benefits they can bring to each other every year are about 10 million contribution points. We are currently developing subspace resources, so this price is still affordable.”

Liu Wen also understood in his heart that it was protection money. The asteroid belt was originally someone else’s purse. As long as the gap was filled, it didn’t matter if you took it away from them.

But things are not so simple to handle, because they don’t know who are the specific people in the transaction chain, and the military cannot do business directly with these aliens. The business of buying low and selling high for minerals definitely requires someone to take over. However, this matter is not glorious after all, so no one will openly come to trouble Liu Wen.

Now someone comes to you and says that this is his business, but who can prove it? What if you worship at the wrong temple and burn the wrong incense, and someone else comes to you again, can you still expect him to admit it and help you?
”First sort out the relationship, determine the route, and increase their payment by 10% based on the previous transaction volume.”

”Okay, Chairman.” Shirley took on the task.

”Chairman, the plan has been completed and the relevant arrangements are basically in place. Should we start implementing the plan now?” Wu Shuhe asked.

”Tell me the details.” Liu Wen hadn’t had time to read the plan sent to him.

Wu Shuhe explained: ”The plan is to use the power of others to bully others. Since there must be spies from other companies and groups inside the fleet, we don’t need to deliberately spread the news.”

”We just need to make the video footage of the last battle public, and then use the grapevine to define the subspace management rights as compensation for us.”

”In order to verify this information, the person who wants to reach out will find out who owns the subspace and bring our information with him. If the other party wants to take back the subspace, they will naturally send someone to receive it. If there is no movement, it means that we have tacitly acknowledged the correctness of our actions.”

Jack thought for a moment and asked, ”Have you found the corresponding candidate through the characteristics of the psychic battleship?”

Psychic battleships are not easy to come by. They are super battleships that can only be forged by psychic masters above level seven. Each one is unique and possesses some of the characteristics of its owner.

It stands to reason that it would be easy to find the corresponding psychic through the characteristics of the psychic battleship, but even the intelligence station of the Interstellar Alliance does not have complete information to sell. After searching for so long, we only know that the other party is a high-ranking member of the Blue River military, but we don’t know which department he belongs to.

Wu Shuhe spread his hands helplessly: ”I don’t know. So far, no information has been sent back. The other party’s confidentiality level should be very high. Our authority level is not high enough, so we can’t get too detailed information. And maybe the information we query the other party’s intelligence has already appeared in the other team’s data.”

Liu Wen drummed his fingers on the table and thought over the pros and cons several times. Generally speaking, if things go wrong, they just need to withdraw and there will not be too much loss. Even if they give up part of the benefits gained during the period of controlling the subspace, it will be a huge income. As long as they don’t fight for it, no one will chase them.

But this was no choice, because they were still in the Blue River Empire and did not have the strength and power to fight against the local dignitaries. They could really kill you, but they had to be somewhat cautious as citizens of the Shangxia Republic.

”Let’s do this. Pay more attention to how things are going. If anything goes wrong, fix it immediately. If you can’t solve it, just withdraw and let them fight for the subspace on their own.”

”Understood!” Wu Shuhe was confidently prepared to fight this battle. Although the private conspiracies and tricks were not as conspicuous as the energy cannons on the battlefield, their destructive power was even greater. For him, it was a time to test his brain. Young people who had just graduated from college were always so full of hope.

As tasks were arranged one by one and all parts began to really operate, Jack also began to recruit more staff to add much-needed technical talents to the group.

As a result, Liu Wen finally experienced what it meant to spend money like water. It was also at this time that he truly realized that the value of some equipment was much more expensive than a level VI cruiser-class battleship. And this was still ordinary civilian equipment. He didn’t even dare to look at the more advanced ones because he was afraid that the prices would be too high and he would have a heart attack.

A few days later, Shirley found Liu Wen and said, ”Boss, we have confirmed that the other party is the controller of the previous alien mineral transaction, and the relevant funds have been submitted.”

Liu Wen was surprised: ”They are from the military, right? Is it okay to take money so openly?”

Shirley explained: ”The other party is indeed the Blue River military, and is also the person in charge of the patrol fleet in this star field. In addition, the money is naturally not directly deposited into the other party’s account.”

”The funds were transferred through an entertainment company, through the form of rewards, by giving large amounts of money to a few or a dozen actors, and then submitting the funds.”

”These actors have signed harsh profit-sharing contracts with the entertainment companies controlled by the other party. These rewards are also made in the name of helping to increase exposure. The actors do not earn a penny of this money, and they also pay a public relations fee to the entertainment company for the increased exposure.”

”Uh!” Liu Wen thought of his past life, those messy and disgusting live broadcasts, but there were so many people giving rewards, and the amounts were bigger than each other. This might be the same operation.

”Has the other party expressed any reaction after receiving the money? Also, have you implemented the plan to prevent the other party from turning hostile?”

Shirley nodded. ”The other party said that everything remains the same. There will be no military patrol fleets in the asteroid belt. However, they also reminded us that the alien race’s strength must be suppressed below level five, and its combat effectiveness cannot exceed its existing strength. Once the alien race’s military industrial strength increases, then the cooperation will naturally be invalidated.”

”The other party was very cautious and only talked to me through representatives. The flow of funds had nothing to do with the other party, so our countermeasures could not be effective.”

Hearing Shirley’s answer, Liu Wen was relieved. The other party’s methods were sophisticated, which proved that the other party was not a person who took money but did not do anything. At least the entertainment company had not changed hands in the past ten years, which meant that it had always been under the control of the other party. There was no problem with the channel, so it was confirmed that this line was relatively stable. ”Pay more attention to it. In addition, the work of collecting minerals from these vassal aliens can be strengthened. The relevant prospecting equipment, collection and smelting equipment can be provided appropriately. We don’t think we can stay here for long.” Liu Wen reminded.

”I understand, Chairman.” Shirley turned around and prepared to leave, but suddenly turned her head and asked, ”Chairman, my spiritual practice has reached level two.”

”Level 2 mind, so fast?” Liu Wen looked at the other party in surprise.

Spiritual cultivation is much more difficult than psychic energy cultivation. Psychic energy is just the dual interference of spirit and matter, while the mind truly belongs to the power of thinking, which is powerful and unpredictable.

In this world, the Void Zerg have developed the most mental power. Every queen is a master of mental power. By gathering the power of billions of Zergs, they can kill a psychic of the same level alone as easily as killing a chicken.

Many psychics also study psychic power as a secondary skill, not for the purpose of destructive power, but to strengthen their own psychic power so that they can better resist the Void Zerg.

”It seems that you are indeed suitable for cultivating spiritual power. No wonder some big man possessed you and gave you a set of spiritual cultivation methods when he left.” Liu Wen was very happy. With a spiritual master under his command, the fleet’s defense weakness would be reduced. With the assistance of spiritual defense equipment, the overall defense of the fleet would be greatly enhanced.

Shirley smiled and said, ”It was only after I entered Level 2 that I realized that my spiritual compatibility was so high.”

”Practice well. Maybe the first level four person in the fleet will not be a psychic but a spiritualist like you.” Liu Wen gave Shirley the authority to call upon some spiritual resources. People trained by himself are always more trustworthy than those recruited from outside.

After Shirley left, Liu Wen began to think about whether he could also use some of his psychic training time to practice his mental strength. This way, he wouldn’t have to be wary of the Queen’s mental attack every time he encountered the Void Zerg. If he did this every time, no matter how big his fleet was, it would be useless.

Time ticked by, and soon it came to a month after the Galaxy Fleet set sail.

The images of the battle between the psychic battleship and the hive have been spread, but the existence of the subspace is still tightly sealed, waiting for someone to dig it out and discover it. This will allow Liu Wen to dig out a few commercial spies from the fleet.

Things are still fermenting, and it will take some time before they can be fully launched, so the group’s staff is busy expanding. The recruitment of professional and technical personnel, the purchase of related equipment, the construction of laboratories, the training of new personnel, and the development of subspace are all a bunch of long-term troubles.

That day, Liu Wen was sitting in the command room, talking on the phone with Bai Haitang.

”You just said that after you arrived at the designated location, there was no substance at the coordinate point?” Liu Wen felt that something strange had happened again this time.

Why does this golden finger only give out difficult rewards? After trying this and that, I found that it would be better to just rob the high-value psychic minerals of the alien races. At least they give out mineral planets. It is simple and crude, and the profits are precise and clear.

”So this coordinate point also has a subspace?” There is no star system or meteorite belt or asteroid belt at the coordinate point, which can only mean that the coordinate point is also a subspace channel entrance, and all valuable things are inside the subspace.

”What’s the surrounding environment like?” Liu Wen is more concerned about this now. If the surrounding environment is complex and there are many forces, then nothing will happen if he doesn’t open the subspace. He can wait until he is stronger before taking over.

”The surrounding area for several light years is all void. It’s in the area between two star systems and there’s no complicated environment. But precisely because this is the void between star systems, there are often spaceships passing through here,” Bai Haitang explained.

”As long as it’s not a formal jump point, it’s fine. Turning on the space anchor can solve this problem.” Liu Wen thought about it and said, ”Let’s build a space station at the coordinate point to cover up the existence of the subspace.”

Bai Haitang also thought this method was good, but the funds involved were large and she did not have the authority to do so, so Liu Wen still had to give the order.

After receiving Liu Wen’s order, the Galaxy Fleet simply settled down in this void. Passing spaceships were surprised to see such a fleet docked in the void, but no one was stupid enough to come and provoke them.

Bai Haitang proceeded to purchase a small multi-functional space station from the interstellar alliance in that star region, and planned to build it at the coordinate location in the name of a jump point service station. The Galaxy Fleet then went in and out of several surrounding star systems to advertise.

After people in several nearby star systems learned of the existence of a space station, the number of spacecraft coming and going suddenly increased several times.

The star field where the coordinates are located is the 712 star field. There has never been any alien civilization in this star field from beginning to end, but there are many subspace battlefields.

Because star field psychic minerals are scarce and scarce, there are many small mining teams, and medium and large teams and companies are all targeting the subspace battlefield.

The coordinate point where Bai Haitang is located is surrounded by the 712 star system and the 189 star system of the 090 star field. Several surrounding star systems are on the edge of the star field channel. Going out is the void of the galaxy.

So when the Galaxy Fleet built a space station in this void, the teams and companies in several surrounding star systems were overjoyed, as they finally had a place to spend money.

The space station was still under construction, and Bai Haitang suddenly discovered that according to the reserved space, the store was not enough.

A large number of merchants came to rent shops and prepare to start business. Driven by a group of merchants, the rent was forced to rise to fifty contribution points per square meter. According to the prices in the surrounding star fields, it would be good to have more than ten contribution points per square meter, but the rent was increased several times.

Seeing this situation, Bai Haitang asked her best friend Tong Xue Na to come over for help overnight. However, due to the far distance, she couldn’t get there in a short time, so she could only guide Bai Haitang’s work remotely.

”Oh my god! This is more tiring than killing bugs for several days!” After a busy day, Bai Haitang lay on the bed and didn’t want to move. She never expected that the space station, which was originally used as a cover, would be so popular. Except for the reserved part, the entire space station with a diameter of only five kilometers has been rented out.

The businessmen raised the rent to 57 contribution points per square meter. According to the lease contract currently signed, the cost of the space station can be recovered in just three years. If the space station’s own maintenance, fuel supply and other services are added, the cost of millions of contribution points may be recovered in less than a year and a half.

”Nana, you said the space station is so profitable, why don’t these businessmen build one themselves? They have to wait until I build one before rushing over to rent a store and open a shop.” Bai Haitang felt that the people in this star field were not very smart.

Tong Xue Na was still busy calculating the accounts. She rolled her eyes when she heard what the other party said: ”Don’t you see what is parked next to your space station? Such a large fleet is the main reason why the space station is so popular.”

”Ah? Oh!” Bai Haitang was smart after all, and he immediately understood the reason as soon as Tong Xuena said it.

This place is at the edge of the galaxy, the most resource-poor area, and there are only small teams and companies around it. Those with ideas don’t have the strength, and those with the strength have better and more profitable places to go. So when the Galaxy Fleet said it wanted to build a service space station, those with ideas naturally flocked here.

The biggest factor is that the existence of the Galaxy Fleet can preserve this foundation. Ordinary interstellar pirates have ideas but cannot win, and those who can win look down on them. The benefits are not proportional to the cost, so why bother risking their lives?

As time went by, the Galaxy Fleet’s space station became a communication node for several surrounding star systems. Material trading, entertainment, spacecraft repair and maintenance, all kinds of business have never stopped since the moment it opened.

Relying on the flow of people, as long as Bai Haitang is willing, he can actually completely monopolize the surrounding resource transactions. If the price is fair, the profit from the price difference can support the Galaxy Fleet and have some surplus.

Fortunately, she knew what her goal was in coming here, and she did not interfere too much in the business here, and did not touch the resources. She only occupied a small half of the entertainment and catering business, and she was already making a fortune every day.

Inside the lower dock of the Galaxy Space Station, defense equipment was stacked layer by layer to cover the entire dock. Several escort-class battleships’ guns were aimed at the space gate in the middle. The space gate at the coordinate point gradually opened with the support of the equipment, and several unmanned shuttles plunged in.
