Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 3 World 2Chapter 3 Second World
Back at the waste treatment plant, Fat Blue was concentrating on making high-energy batteries.

Liu Wen repeated the information he had collected today: ”There are usually only three people in that nutrient paste shop, and they deliver goods every seven days. In addition, the local gangs seem to be targeting them. I saw two suspicious guys wandering on the street, and their eyes kept unconsciously looking towards the back door of the shop.”

”The Jilong people have a gunboat that was converted from a small cargo spaceship. It looks pretty good, but the price is too high, three million credits.”

As the blue fat man ate the nutritional paste, he thought: ”How much cash can a store selling nutritional paste have? Will it be enough for us to buy boat tickets to leave Paradise Island after robbing it?”

”And a local gang has set its sights on them. Based on past cases on Paradise Island, the store will definitely be taken away by a small or medium-sized group, or directly sold.”

”With our strength, it would be difficult to rob them even with weapons. Do we really want to do it?”

Seeing that the blue fat man was a little hesitant, Liu Wen quickly encouraged him: ”Besides this opportunity to make some extra money, what else can we rely on to turn things around? Should we really join a pirate group as cannon fodder, or enter the service industry to lick the gents who come to play?”

It’s not that the blue fat man is unwilling to earn extra money, but he is skeptical about the gains from robbing a nutritional cream shop. Not all pirates, but at least most of them are selfish types. No one will really trust others, and it is impossible for them to leave too much cash in a nutritional cream shop.

Nearly a week has passed since the Vulture Pirates were annihilated. The big teams above have basically figured out the Vulture Pirates’ current strength and are probably about to discuss which one will take over their space station. The remaining stores on Paradise Island are probably now under surveillance to prevent anyone from running away with their money.

However, the space station is very valuable. In order to get it intact, they will probably have to negotiate with it and will not rashly start a war. Otherwise, if it is damaged, the repair will be a huge expense. Therefore, before the negotiations between the two sides are completed, Paradise Island will be very quiet.

This is also the best time for them to take action. Otherwise, when both parties reach an agreement or fail to reach an agreement, it will not be their turn to reap the benefits.

This is also the main reason why Liu Wen chose a small nutritional cream shop as his target. A small shop will not attract too much attention, and those teams will not be too unhappy with them. At most, they will just strike them down.

The two discussed for a long time. Because Fat Blue was worried that the effort would not be proportional to the reward, Liu Wen went out again the next day, focusing on collecting information on the target stores and the actions of local gangs.

As a result, as soon as Liu Wen walked down, he saw a dozen people from local gangs surrounding the back door of the nutritional paste shop with all kinds of weapons.

The shop was closed, and the two sides were communicating through the alloy door. The residents on both sides of the passage stayed indoors. There were only two or three brave people in the entire passage, watching from afar and eating melons.

”Gu’er Luo, your boss has turned into a popsicle in space. Now that I’m here, you still have a choice. If our boss comes, none of you four will survive!” A small leader wearing tight armor shouted at the alloy door.

”Hand over the shop and I will let you go. You can also take some of the money with you. Such good conditions will never come again.”

”Give us a day to think about it.” Some vague words came from inside the door.

”Okay, I’ll give you one day. I’ll come again tomorrow. If the answer doesn’t satisfy me, you should know what the consequences will be.” The small leader smiled. If he could take over a store without any loss, he would make money even faster. Although he would have to give half of it to the boss, it would be worth it as long as he could get it.

A group of people surrounded the little leader and left, leaving two people openly guarding both sides of the passage before leaving.

Both of them had a kinetic pistol hanging around their waists, and judging by the size of the gun handles, it should have a certain electromagnetic acceleration capability.

”Tomorrow?” Liu Wen glanced at the alloy door of the shop, turned around and left, then ran to check the other two small shops.

One sells daily necessities, while the other operates as a slave middleman. Both are being watched by others, and it is obvious that someone is ready to take action on these profitable stores.

I went back to the nutritional cream shop to take another look at the situation and determine the escape route after taking action.

As a result, as soon as I got down to the ground floor, I saw that the sales door was closing. I walked to the door and knocked on it pretending to be someone buying nutritional cream: ”Why is it closed? I want to buy nutritional cream.”

”We’re not selling it anymore. Get out of here!” Impatient voices came from inside.

Liu Wen looked around carefully. People were coming and going on the street, but no one was paying special attention to this place. It seemed that the little leader did not arrange anyone to guard the gate.

Does this mean that knowing the internal structure, you think it is impossible for them to slip away through the gate, or it doesn’t matter if they slip away?
Liu Wen thought about it. From the tone of the little leader, it seemed that he might just want this shop. As for the people inside, maybe he didn’t care at all. Maybe it would be better if he ran away.

I put my ear to the door curtain and listened. I could vaguely hear the sound of equipment running, but it was not clear through the curtain.

Liu Wen immediately turned around and drove the hovercraft back to the garbage dump.

”Blue Fat Man, how are the weapons prepared?”

The blue fat man who was fiddling with parts looked up from the workbench: ”The battery is ready, and the rifle only needs the final magnetized bullet.”

”Hurry up, I just found out that four Angolans in the store are preparing to escape. It may not take long. We have to go over and stop them. We can’t let them take our money.” Liu Wen finished his words in one breath.

When the blue fat man heard that someone was about to run away, he quickly packed up his things, picked up a large box full of various parts from the ground, and quickly assembled them.

Soon, two electromagnetic rifles and a high-energy battery made into a backpack appeared in front of Liu Wen.

”Is the battery charged?” Liu Wen asked quickly, thinking that the battery was just made today. If it was not charged, it would be fatal.

”Don’t worry, it has been charged long ago. We didn’t find many materials. It can fire for half an hour at full capacity. It’s just that there are not enough bullets. Each person only has 120 rounds.” The fat blue man handed the 40-centimeter-long electromagnetic rifle to Liu Wen.

I took the rifle, and wow, it was really heavy, at least over ten kilograms. Add in the twenty kilograms of high-energy batteries and magnetized projectiles, and the whole set weighed about fifty kilograms.

The magnetized projectile is an alloy bullet with a diameter of only six millimeters. It is much more difficult to make than a rifle. The precision, materials, and processes required are all higher than those of a rifle.

The two men hung the battery on their chests, wrapped their rifles with cloth, put on a hooded coat, and set off in a hurry.

When they arrived at the target block and saw that the shop door was still closed, Liu Wen relaxed a lot. He and the blue fat man walked to the side of the shop one after the other, observed the surroundings, and made sure that no one was staring at the door.

The blue fat man quietly attached a small radio device to the gate, listened carefully for a while, then nodded to Liu Wen, and the two of them blended into the crowd and returned to the parking lot.

”There is indeed some equipment being used inside, and the sound is very small. It is probably a laser. The power is probably not that high either, otherwise they would have run away in the time we have wasted.” The fat blue man expressed his judgment.

Liu Wen nodded and looked down at the still closed door. If he drove the hovercraft down now, it would attract too much attention. Even if the local gangs were stupid, they would know that someone was coming to snatch their food.

Therefore, they have to grasp the timing of action. Fat Blue monitors the interior of the store through the small sound transmission device. Once the other party is about to open the door, it is time for them to take action.

”How about this gun?” Since he had not used it yet, Liu Wen had no idea about the gun’s performance.

Thanks to the Infant and Child Development Center, there is also shooting training there, although there are only kinetic weapons and electromagnetic weapons, but there are still a few classes for them to get started.

”I’ve tested it, and it only has 60% of the original data, with a maximum firing rate of two rounds per second and a range of about one thousand meters. The initial velocity of the projectile was originally 360 meters per second. In order to reduce the noise, I limited it to 300 meters per second. This way, no sonic boom will be produced, and the noise will naturally be much smaller.” The blue fat man introduced, holding an electromagnetic rifle.

Liu Wen also played with the iron thing in his hand. It was rough and had a bit of the style of the Blue Star Woolly Bear.

The two of them waited until a full moon rose above the virtual sky. The blue fat man then held his belly excitedly, started the hovercraft and flew towards the target location. He parked the car directly in front of the store, just in time to see the door curtain slowly rising.

Liu Wen connected the wires to the magnetic storm rifle, opened the safety lock, and a low whimpering sound was heard.

The two looked at each other, got out of the car with their weapons in hand, and walked towards the gate. Through the raised door curtain, Liu Wen and the others could already see several pairs of feet standing behind them, and adjusted their direction slightly. When the door curtain just rose to the chest position of the other party, the two fired at the same time.

”Swish, swish...” The two men fired two shots in succession, each shot penetrating the target’s chest. The Angolan’s blue blood sprayed out to the rear as the bullet pierced through his chest.

The sound of the gunshot was so small that it was completely covered up by the noise on the street. Even the smart guards patrolling back and forth over the street did not notice the movement here.

The two men took two quick steps and blocked the door. After entering, they shot another shot at the heads of the four people lying on the ground. Then they picked up the remote control and closed the door curtain.

The two men waited until the door curtain was closed before taking off their hoods, slung their rifles behind their backs, and dragged the four Angolans aside.

Liu Wen was responsible for climbing in through the window cut on the platform to search, while the blue fat man was responsible for the body search.

Two minutes later, the two men went out and closed the door curtain, drove away the people who were circling around the hovercraft, and drove away at high speed.

It was only after leaving that block that Liu Wen received the message conveyed by the will of the defeated.

”Robbery Target: Angolans
Number of robberies: One
Robbery property: 13,225 bearer credit bonds, four kinetic weapons, one Gauss rifle, three high-explosive bombs, and two boxes of nutritional paste. ”

After reading it, Liu Wen felt a little embarrassed, because he was the one who asked the person to hold the nutritional paste so that he could show it to people on the street.

”Rewards: 1,322,500 bearer credit bonds, 400 kinetic weapons, 100 Gauss rifles, 300 high-explosive bombs, and 200 boxes of nutrient paste. Do you want to claim the rewards now?”

Now that I am still in the hovercraft, I naturally cannot take out the things. Fortunately, I can pick up the things selectively and there is no need to take them all out at once.

He silently recited to himself to receive the cash, and more than one million credit point bonds appeared in Liu Wen’s pocket. He took them out and waved them at the blue fat man.

”Thirteen tickets worth one hundred thousand, two tickets worth ten thousand, and five tickets worth five hundred points. Wow, wow, wow, more than one million, three hundred and twenty thousand. Hahaha!” Liu Wen laughed out loud.

The blue fat man’s eyes widened, and he almost had a car accident. He practiced saying ”fuck, fuck” in his voice. It was obvious that he didn’t expect that he could get so much cash by robbing a nutritional paste sales point.

The two men returned to the garbage station. The blue fat man couldn’t wait to throw his equipment into the corner, took out the credit points from Liu Wen and put together the ones he found from several Angolans.

”Ahahahaha, we’re rich! Lao Liu, we’re rich! Hahahaha...”

Liu Wen was also very excited. He looked at the rewards given to him by the will of the defeated, and there were hundreds of weapons.

Kinetic pistols are very cheap. I saw a shop selling them on the roundabout before and found that you only needed 200 credit points to buy one, and the bullets cost 2 credit points each.

The most valuable one is the Gauss rifle, which is the standard sidearm for the Blue River Empire’s inspectors. It is worth 800 credit points each, is cheap, sturdy and durable, and looks elegant.

The price of high-explosive grenades is unclear, but kinetic grenades should be very cheap, only about forty or fifty credit points at most.

The total value of this batch of weapons is about 160,000 credit points, which is still far from enough to buy spaceships.

Although more than one million credit points is already a lot, a tube of nutritional paste only costs two credit points, and two tubes a day are enough for an average person’s daily needs, which means that one only needs more than a hundred credit points a month to survive.

The average person in the Blue River Empire only earns three to four thousand credit points a month, and it takes decades of hard work to earn more than a million.

”More than one million credit points are enough for us brothers to purchase citizenship of a border administrative planet of the Blue River Empire!” said the blue fat man excitedly.

”Frog will be eighteen in four days and can be released. Jack will need more than a month, the cat more than half a year, and the little fox a whole year.” Liu Wen thought about the few people who were still in the infant care center and felt quite sorry that they had to be eighteen years old to leave that damn place.

The blue fat man lay on the credit point, his eyes narrowed into slits: ”It’s okay, we have money, we can afford to wait.”

”Yeah.” Liu Wen nodded with a smile.

”We still need more than half of the money to buy the spacecraft. What are we going to do with the rest of the money?” The fat blue man raised his head and asked.

Liu Wen folded his hands and thought of the shop around the island that sold the Second World login helmet.

”Let’s go buy some Second World helmets.”

The blue fat man was stunned, thought for a moment and agreed: ”Enter the second world? That’s possible.”

The Second World is literally the Second World.

The source was created by the most advanced civilizations in the universe. After it was built, all the evil gods, void Zerg, uncontrolled intelligent life and other things that affect the peace of the universe were stuffed into it.

Any civilization under the Interstellar Alliance in the universe, if any civilization wants to launch a war of civilizations to the death, will also be sent to the second world by the Interstellar Alliance. Only after one side wins will it be released back into the universe by the Interstellar Alliance.

It can be said that the second world is the garbage disposal plant of the universe. If anything affects the universe, it is thrown directly into it and then slowly processed there.

At the same time, in order to deal with these garbage, the Interstellar Alliance opened login permissions. All intelligent life can use the login device to project a wisp of their own soul into the second world. Whether it is mining minerals or killing dimensional creatures through the game, they can redeem Interstellar Alliance contribution points according to their contributions.

After more than 10,000 years of development, native civilizations have already appeared in the Second World, and various civilizations in the universe have also opened up their own civilized countries in the Second World to obtain more resources.

Compared to the universe, the second world is chaotic, but it also represents wealth, high-level resources, and most importantly, knowledge.

In the universe, if people like the Blood Wolf Bandits want to obtain dimensional energy, they have to summon the incarnation of the dimensional evil god. If they are not careful, they may directly annoy the evil god himself and make him come here at a great cost. In the second world, the living dimensional evil gods are almost overwhelming.

The resources of the second world can be obtained into the universe through the conversion of contribution points. Giving a point is equivalent to the courier fee and the goods will be delivered to your door.

Another advantage is that there are many ways to activate psychic energy in the second world. As long as you activate psychic energy in the second world, you can bring it back directly to any level you have grown to. Although there will be some consumption, it is much more reliable than having to join some forces in the universe and sign a self-selling agreement to get the opportunity to activate psychic energy.

The two of them took action as soon as they changed their clothes. They immediately drove the hover car to the island. They first bought a hover car that was said to be second-hand but was actually the fourth or fifth time used. Finally, they spent 9,000 credit points to buy three login helmets.

The first thing he did after returning to the garbage dump was not to log into the second world, but to disassemble the blue fat man’s hovercraft, save the parts, and then take it out and assemble it for use when needed.

While Liu Wen and the blue fat man were busy dismantling the hover car, in the nutrient paste shop, the little boss was looking at the Angolan man whose blue blood was all over the ground.

”Tsk tsk, did he want to escape but got intercepted by someone?” The little leader shook his head. It was fine if a few Angolans died. They didn’t die on the streets anyway, so he could just deal with it quietly.

As for who did it, that was none of his business. The most important thing was that the shop now belonged to him.

”You two, deal with them and clean up the shop.” The little leader looked at the shop and found someone to repair it. The shop would be able to operate normally. However, the nutritional cream only made a few dollars, so psychiatric drugs had to be put up there as well.
