Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1079: Becoming Conscious of Nathan

A moment ago.

While Nathan was talking to Evelyn, Bella noticed Vivian’s darkened expression.

She noticed her chance as she whispered, ”Now, this is a problem. If Evelyn is with him, I wonder how she should call you?”

Vivian’s body shook. There was no answer to that question. Evelyn was her respected senior.

She originally thought of this scenario, but it was for much later in the future. Yet, Evelyn suddenly changed her family name, and it looked like it was Nathan’s family name.

Should she actually make Evelyn call her mistress? Her heart definitely couldn’t take it.

It was simply too fast. Nathan was also this young. Besides, Evelyn was 9 years older than Nathan.

”...” Vivian looked around, wondering what kind of answer she could give.

”Looks like you have found out the problem? Don’t you think the situation is going in a bad direction, Vivian?”

Vivian’s face turned grim. She could probably try to stop them from getting together, but there was no way she could remain as his teacher.

Bella smirked. It looked like Vivian’s reaction was the one she had been waiting for.

”Master, no, Mistress... Well, should I also call you that way?”

The way she called reverberated not just in her ears but also in her bones. ”You...”

”What’s wrong? Don’t you know that I’m always with Evelyn? Wherever Evelyn is, I will also be there. To think that my junior will end up being higher in terms of seniority. Besides, I have heard something even more interesting...

”Your familiar... seems to be interested in him as well... The relationship has become so complicated, don’t you think?”

Vivian had no choice but to admit that their relationship had become a mess.

”That’s why...” Bella approached her and asked, ”...why don’t we have you become our sister?”

”Wha—!” Vivian’s eyes were wide open.

”What’s wrong? You don’t like it? Do you know how much Nathan got chewed out by his girls after knowing Evelyn’s new name? Though it looks like they’re already aware of it and try to keep the number low.

”As his master, you probably can’t meddle in his relationship. But what if you forget the master-disciple relationship? Although he has been calling you his master, he will probably surpass you soon...”

Bella still had a lot to say, but Vivian’s expression showed her that there was no need for more words.

There were two scenes that resurfaced in Evelyn’s mind. The first one was the moment Nathan revealed his intention of taking revenge on her behalf.

She was crying in Nathan’s arms, desperately trying to stop him. Although she failed, there was another feeling that crept into her heart.

After losing her ’parents’ twice, Nathan became the first one that made her a parent. But at that time, a thought rose in her mind. ’If parents or masters always caused misery, how good it would be if we were not master and disciple.’

Yes, what if they were not master and disciple? She probably didn’t have to experience the same tragedy, right? At this rate, she wouldn’t be the one protecting her disciple, but the other way around.

Noel kept plunging himself into dangerous situations. At one point, she might lose him as well.

What if she wasn’t his master anymore? She wouldn’t have the obligation to stay behind and watch over his growth. Instead, she could accompany him to make sure he was fine.

The moment this memory resurfaced, it awakened a second memory, specifically the time when Nathan lied to her regarding Charlotte’s summoning.

It was just on the spur of the moment, but she certainly said she would sever their master-disciple relationship if he lied again.

Thanks to Bella’s words, she couldn’t help but think, what if she was the one who would lie next, not him?

Although Bella didn’t know what was on Vivian’s mind, she definitely had realized something had been going on between the two.

’Seriously, this guy... Since when did he actually make a move on his own teacher?’ Bella blinked a few times, looking at Nathan’s back.

”Vivian. Do you have any herbs that can strengthen one’s mind? It looks like he needs it.”

Suddenly, Evelyn and Nathan talked to them, startling Vivian. Her mind was in chaos because of Bella.

Meanwhile, Bella was satisfied with her reaction and gave a ’V’ sign as though she had just won against Vivian.

”Why are you acting that way?” Evelyn tilted her head in confusion before turning to Bella. ”What were you talking about?”

”Nothing.” Bella looked away playfully. If Fenrir were here, he would probably give the thumbs up to Bella as though they recognized each other’s skill.

Vivian looked around as if trying to calm her mind before saying, ”Herbs? Herbs for the mind... yes? Yes, yes, I have such herbs!”

”Then, can you give it to him? Right now, this should be good for his growth. I will supply him with a training menu as well.” Evelyn nodded.

”Ye... yes...” Vivian stuttered.

Evelyn didn’t know what Bella had said to her to make Vivian react like this. Either way, she had gotten the herbs to boost his training, so all that was left was her training menu.

”I will write down the training menu later. Since there are a lot of things to do, we should find the place as soon as possible, no?”

”Yes. If you don’t have anything to do, we can leave right now.”

”Sure. Let’s go.” Evelyn nodded. ”Before that, when will the ship be ready?”

”I’ve got word that it will be ready in two weeks. I will visit there in two weeks. Since your presence has been known, it’s fine for you to come with me, right?”

”In that case, I will kill the elite class alien that has been located within the first two weeks, then try to find another one after the ship? I need a considerable amount of power to teleport that large object to another place.”

”We can discuss the arrangement later after we see the ship.”

”Fair enough.” Evelyn snapped her fingers. ”In that case, let’s finish the current task first.”
