Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1067: Nathan’s Domain Ability

”I see. An autonomous region, huh?” Nathan crossed his arms while looking down.

”Yeah. That’s what my father said. I honestly didn’t expect this gift.”

Nathan indeed thought it was a good thing. In the end, he needed the Azilia Kingdom to handle all kinds of things for him.

He could act like a mercenary, but that couldn’t be done in the Azilia Kingdom territory. Even the Dragon King settled in neutral territory.

At the same time, if he built another city from scratch, all kinds of problems would occur. They even had to survey the land first to see if there were any resources that could be exploited.

On the other hand, his grandfather hadn’t developed this land yet, but Flora mentioned that the land was quite rich in resources.

That was why Nathan was probably going to stay here. His original thought was that humanity would be pushed back by the aliens, ultimately creating the last stronghold near the Land of Death.

But because of his devices and magic weapons, humanity managed to withstand the relentless attacks just fine. So, there was no need for them to move anymore.

The benefits outweighed the trouble easily.

Nathan nodded. ”Then, that’s fine. It’s your grandfather’s land anyway, which is something your mother inherits. And it will be you who inherits it next.”

”Are you sure?” Flora asked for confirmation.

”Yeah. I have a request, though.”

”What is it?”

”The teleportation circle in this town is almost complete. Let them handle it right away. With this, traveling around will be much easier.”

”But it means there will be a lot of people traveling into the city, including spies. There’s a chance that they will be targeting us.”

”I understand that, but it’s bound to happen sooner or later.” Nathan nodded. ”Besides, I will leave soon.”

”To another continent, huh? It has only been two days since we reunited after three months... And it looks like you’re going to leave for even longer this time.” Flora sighed. ”When are you going to leave?”

”I don’t know. Maybe in a month? There’s something important I need to do before leaving.”

”Hmmm?” She tilted her head in confusion.

”I’m planning to develop my domain soon.”

”Domain...” She gasped. ”Are you already at that level? Developing a domain is hard.”

”Yes. You know there are four types of domains, right? Well, according to Fenrir, five.”

”Of course I know. They are Subspace, Reality Integration, Illusory Realm, and Composite Marble.”

Nathan nodded while raising his finger. ”I’m thinking about making a Composite Marble in this land.”

”Composite Marble? Subspace Domain is what Anubis has, while Reality Integration is able to change the world’s law to a certain extent, like Jinwu’s domain. Meanwhile, Illusory Realm is similar to Reality Integration, but instead of the real world, your domain is inside the illusion.

”Last but not least, it’s the combination of more than one type of domain. Are you really trying to create two types right away and combine them?”

Nathan waved his hand. ”Yes, but there’s one thing that will allow me to achieve it. If I want to use it in a fight, I will probably get an Illusory Realm to distort my enemy’s perception of time. However, my skills haven’t reached that level yet.

”But it will be different from what I’m trying to create right now. Instead, I will make it similar to the Land of Death. Instead of ’Death,’ it will be ’Time.’

”You will probably get confused as to how I’m going to do it, but I have that, right? My innate ability!”

”Soul Contract!” Flora gasped. ”Land Contract! Are you going to make a land contract to own private land in this world?”

Nathan smiled. ”Correct.”

The contract to save Evelyn had inspired him. Just like how he had changed her name, he thought about changing the ownership of the land to his name.

Then, if he put ’Time’ into the contract, the land would be blessed by time. By using the contract as the pillar, he could probably accelerate the time of that land.

In other words, he could finally turn what he had once read in the past into reality.

’I once read of a realm that has accelerated time. The protagonist used it to grow herbs. I could probably do the same. We’ll use that domain to grow herbs that can be used for either body strengthening or evolution.

’The market for evolution materials is huge, but the supply is always low. So, this will be the territory’s main source of income.

’Besides, if I have a land contract, I can forbid any random people from entering this land, so the safety is quite good.

’Now that I think about it, if I use the contract as the key as well, can I make it so that a person who is holding the key won’t be affected by the time acceleration? This will probably be similar to my Acceleration magic circle, right?

’In other words, this space will have two parts. The first part is where the time is accelerated, while the second part is where the time is decelerated. The former is used to grow herbs, while the latter is used for training. Still, while the body doesn’t grow, the mind will definitely grow older, so I have to be careful as well.

’In that case, I will use the Reality Integration Domain as the core to affect the flow of time. Then, create two subspaces that will alter the time.’

”Do you need anything?”

”Not at the moment. I will probably go around this territory to find the most suitable location before consulting with my teacher,” explained Nathan.

”Going around the land, huh?” Flora thought about something. ”Since you will be leaving in a month or so, why don’t we take this chance to go camping? Camping in multiple locations seems pretty enjoyable.”

”Oh, that’s indeed a good idea.” Nathan nodded in agreement. ”In that case, we should tell the others about it.”

”I will tell Sera, Selena, and Noelle. You should talk to Alavenya, especially regarding the promise before.” Flora reminded him of the sparring match between the two of them.

”All right. I will leave it to you.”
