Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 725: The Result of the Research

”Can you take care of them, Alisha?” Nathan asked with a smile.

”Donʼt worry. I can take care of this. Itʼs not like I have anything to do here.” Alisha nodded. ”Well, more like weʼre already done with our work.”

”Youʼre done? Wait. Doesnʼt that mean…”

”Yes. Mistress is planning to leave soon. She is probably trying to aim for the world class summoner rank.”

”I see.” Nathan nodded in understanding. ”Is Master in her house as usual?”

”No. She is in the workshop with Charlotte.”

”Got it. I will visit her now.”

”I understand.” Alisha nodded before turning to the kids. ”Letʼs go. I will lead you guys to your place.”

Once Alisha left, Nathan waved her hand to Flora. ”Sorry. I will be visiting my teacher first. Please tell everyone that weʼre already back.”

”Donʼt worry. Take your time.” She waved back.

Nathan hurriedly went to the workshop and knocked on the door. ”Master. Itʼs me, Nathan. May I come in?”

Before Vivian could even respond, the door was opened as Charlotte jumped toward him.

”Husbaaaaannd!” Charlotte hugged him with so much momentum that Nathan ended up falling.

”What? Thatʼs dangerous.” Nathan widened his eyes in shock. ”Whatʼs going on? You look happy. Itʼs not normal for you to suddenly tackle me.”

”How rude. I didnʼt tackle you. I hugged you.” Charlotte pouted.

”Yeah, yeah.” Nathan sighed. ”So, whatʼs going on?”

”I have big news for you. The research regarding your blood has been completed.”

”Oh?” Nathanʼs eyes lit up. ”Is that true?”

”Yes.” Charlotte nodded.

”Well, come in first.” Vivianʼs voice echoed from the inside.

Nathan smiled wryly as he got up together with Charlotte. The latter eagerly pulled him inside.

”Master. Iʼm back.”

Vivian shifted her gaze from the book she was currently reading before nodding her head. ”Good work out there.”

”Thank you. I heard you are done with your work and plan to go to the front line soon. Is that true?” Nathan asked.

”Yes. It has been scheduled. I will be leaving this town for 3 weeks starting 4 days from now. Itʼs time for me to finally aim for the world class summoner rank.”

Nathan nodded. ”I understand. I canʼt help you in any way, but if thereʼs anything I can do, please donʼt hesitate to ask me.”

Vivian waved his hand. ”Well, this expedition is not a problem. Besides, Iʼm planning to get one of the missing items to fuse the batteries I have now. Iʼm only three items away from completing the storage for you.”

”Iʼm sorry for making you do this.” Nathan scratched the back of his head.

”Itʼs fine. Iʼm also curious about it. And youʼre my disciple. If itʼs something you can handle, I will probably tell you to search for it so that you can grow through that experience. But Iʼm planning to go deeper into the alien territory, so itʼs going to be too dangerous for you.” Vivian shook her head helplessly.

”Is that so? Thatʼs a shame.” Nathan smiled wryly.

”Anyway, you should listen to her.” Vivian pointed at Charlotte, who was already pouting because she had a hard time containing herself.

”Ah, right! Charlotte. What do you have for me?”

”Well, there is one good and one bad news. So, I will start with the good news first.

”Your blood doesnʼt have any problem. You can use it the way you did before, but thereʼs one thing you need to know… and I hope you take this seriously.

”You shouldnʼt donate your blood or use your blood during a battle, especially when this is a battle where you will or already have shed too much blood.

”While Anubis is able to take care of your wound and recovery, if possible, itʼs better for your blood to be replenished in a natural way.”

Nathan looked down, contemplating. ”So, basically, thereʼs nothing wrong with utilizing it as long as I donʼt use it too much at a time?”

”Yes. From what Iʼve heard, you asked Risa to suck your blood and evolved to royalty in the midst of a battle. This is the warning all about. I hope you donʼt repeat it.”

”Why?”

”And this is the bad news.” She raised one finger. ”Thereʼs a chance for you to lose your special blood. If you lose too much blood and that blood is getting replaced by something else, it will gradually diminish the amount of special blood in your body.

”Once it reaches a certain point, it will get weakened at first. After that, you will gradually lose your unique blood.

”Anubisʼ healing ability is powerful, but the fundamental healing ability of his derives from using ena to supplement the recovery. On the other hand, to make sure nothing will affect your blood, a recovery through metabolism is preferable.

”Hence, if Risa sucks your blood, itʼs wise to replace it naturally. Of course, you need to eat a lot of protein.”

”I see.” Nathan crossed his arms. ”So, should the schedule be changed? Risa has been sucking my blood every week.”

”No. Thereʼs no need for that. Risa is already aware of this matter and as long as she sticks to the usual amount, nothing should happen to you. Still, I have never thought that your blood is so overpowered that you can affect the incompatibility problem of a vampire.”

”En?” Nathan tilted his head in confusion.

”Wait. You donʼt know about it?” Charlotte gasped in disbelief. ”I thought you already knew about this.”

”About what?”

”The incompatibility of blood. The biggest reason behind why vampires are sucking the blood of the same gender.

”Well, according to this world, itʼs more like the reason the vampires summoned by humans will be based on the gender of that human.”

”…” Nathan looked up. ”Well, Iʼm not really curious about it, to be honest. But is it something I should know? Then again, Iʼm thinking about suggesting Cain to Selena…”

”Of course you should know this. I have heard about you lacking common sense and knowledge, but I have never thought it would be to this extent…” Charlotte let out a long sigh.
