Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 721: Brunhildʼs New Strength

”God of Valkyrja.”

”!!!” Belphegor couldnʼt help but widen his eyes in shock when he felt the sudden surge of power. ”Asmodeus. You…”

”Hehehe. As expected, she will definitely be able to use that power well.” Asmodeus grinned. ”Good. Keep using that power and have the desire for your lord. Do it well for my sake.”

All of them were stunned by the sudden burst of light that brightened the entire area.

They all shifted their gazes toward Brunhild.

A white circle appeared on her back. Because Asmodeus continued fighting against the angel, the form was similar to that of an archangel.

From that circle manifested six white wings. However, Brunhild was also a valkyrie who had a pair of wings. As a result, the eight-winged valkyrie was born.

Brunhild looked up. There were several line patterns spreading all over her body, but the only visible ones were the two lines reaching all the way to her eyes.

While pointing her spear at the gorgon, she couldnʼt help but examine her body.

ʼThis strength… Itʼs actually allowing me to manifest a bit of my original abilities. At the same time, thereʼs something different about it. The magic based on desire, huh?ʼ Brunhildʼs expression turned solemn.

The gorgon was completely stunned. After receiving the sudden power-up, there was no way Brunhild could defeat her.

However, the moment Brunhild released that power, she could finally feel danger again from her.

Several snakes moved toward Brunhild, trying to overwhelm her.

Brunhild took another deep breath as her spear emitted a faint glow.

ʼSeverance.ʼ

Brunhild waved her spear.

”!!!” The gorgon instinctively raised both arms before seeing the manifestation of that cut.

All of a sudden, all her snakes were split in two. The slash even reached her arms.

”Shaaa.” The gorgon screamed. Fortunately for her, the slash didnʼt manage to cut her arms thoroughly.

The gorgon panicked and turned to Sera, who was Brunhildʼs summoner. She and the few snakes on her head spat out poison, directly targeting Sera.

However, Brunhild simply raised her left hand and waved it down.

A huge translucent white shield appeared out of thin air. The poison was corroding the ena of that shield, but the shield remained intact.

If one took a look at the ground, they would see the floor melting just with a single touch from the poison. Yet the shield was actually stronger than this poison.

The gorgon finally realized that the situation had gone out of control.

The same applied to Asmodeus and Belphegor.

Both of them waved their hands, releasing their ena at the same time.

”Kh…” Belphegor gritted his teeth.

”Come on, Belphegor. Iʼm not like you, who gives away your power without teaching them how to use it. Itʼs obvious who is going to win?”

”Win? My power is exactly built for this development.” Belphegor clapped his hands. ”Burn away! Fight to the death!”

An even more energy burst out of the gorgonʼs body.

”!!!” Brunhild raised her eyebrows. ʼThat power… is eating her life? He is forcing her to fight, even if it means burning her own lifespan? What a cruel technique…ʼ

Brunhild looked down before thinking about the same thing. Asmodeus was indeed a cruel demon in… another way.

ʼI still havenʼt mastered this magic, so I canʼt last long in this state. In that case, let me free you, poor creature.ʼ Brunhild leaped toward her.

When Brunhild was about to arrive, the one who attacked her was not the gorgon. Instead, there was another threat coming from above.

Because the gorgon was still a threat, she didnʼt shift her spear. Instead, she blocked the incoming threat by closing all her wings.

A dark energy hit her and clashed with her light, but in that position, the black energy soon overwhelmed her energy and launched her back to the ground.

Bam!

She managed to land on the ground with her feet sliding on the floor for several meters.

When she raised her head, she saw Sebastian hovering in the air. His body was shrouded by a dark energy.

It was clear that she would be fighting them together.

In fact, the gorgon had already sent forth her snakes, this time scattering them in all directions so that Brunhild couldnʼt slash all of them at once.

”!!!” Brunhild was startled because there was another surge of strength. However, this familiar strength made her smile.

She wasnʼt fighting alone.

The moment the four words flashed in her mind, Brunhild placed her hand on the ground. ”Come out!”

Several spear blades emerged from the ground, impaling all the snakes simultaneously.

Thanks to Sera, she was able to manifest enough spears to catch all those snakes.

Still, while she was busy with the snakes, Sebastian had pointed his palms at her and released a beam.

Brunhild thrust her spear, which had been coated by Seraʼs energy. It clashed with the dark beam for a second before the spear pierced through the beam and dispersed them.

Then Brunhild leaped toward Sebastian. The gorgon grasped her with both hands while regenerating the snakes.

However, Brunhild simply landed on those hands and stabbed the right hand before she ran toward her arm while slicing her skin and flesh.

Even though the outside looked like the spear was too small, Brunhild had used the magic to enlarge her spear so that the wound would be much deeper than it looked.

Still, there was no way Sebastian would allow her to cause so much damage to his gorgon.

Several black chains emerged from multiple black holes, grasping her body, wrists, and ankles.

Brunhild was about to stop, but this wasnʼt the end.

Just like Sebastian, there was one more summoner who could join the fight.

”Magnus Exorcismus.”

All of a sudden, a white field manifested in the area, pulverizing the darkness.

”Saint Eric!” Sebastian gnashed his teeth.

”Iʼm not done yet,” Eric harrumphed. ”Divine Imperfection!”

”!!!” Brunhild could feel another power coming to help Seraʼs Synchronization. Now that she had broken free from the restraint, she continued toward the gorgonʼs shoulder and severed the entire arm.
