Chapter 798 - 798 Chess Player

798 Chess Player

Lin Yi didn’t waste his breath on Zhang Haiyong.

After hanging up, he looked at Han Yao and said,

“Director Han, have you prepared the PR article I asked you to prepare yesterday?”

“It’s all ready. The main content is about this investment, and it doesn’t involve our dispute with Jaewon Television.”

!!
“Apart from these, write another public relations article to express our national sentiment.”

“National sentiment?”

Lin Yi’s words confused the three executives. None of them understood what this had to do with their country.

“Think about it, after your public relations article is published, in the eyes of ordinary people, Tonghua Electronics will be viewed as a company under Sunrise Landish control, and at this time, Jaewon Television has come out to cause trouble for them. Doesn’t this play on national sentiment? It is a great patriotic act to take action against Sunrise Land at the expense of personal interests.”

Qi Xianzhao was the first to react.

He felt that his boss’s move was really amazing.

He directly placed the TV station and Mitsui Financial Group on opposite sides.

In other words, he became the director of this scene and placed these two different participants on the stage to fight.

In reality, the issue surrounding Jaewon has always been a very sensitive matter, but the boss had labeled the TV station as a patriot.

This was what it meant to suffer in silence.

If they dared to retreat midway, they would appear to be deserting. The public reaction to this would cause their shares to plummet.

However, if they fought to the death, Mitsui Consortium would not be easy to deal with.

This way, Lingyun Group would be able to stay out of trouble, and they would also be able to promote Tonghua Electronics.

Although the general public would have some resistance toward Tonghua Electronics, professionals in the industry would indirectly recognize Tonghua Electronics’ ability, which would undoubtedly attract investment.

After a period of time, once this matter calmed down, there would be another wave of reverse acquisitions whereby he could take back his company from Sunrise Land control. This would lead to another wave of powerful public relations publicity.

This kind of operation could be recorded in textbooks.

“President Lin, there’s a problem here,” Han Yao said.

“What’s the problem?”

“We have to make the people believe that this was done by the TV station. This is a crucial step. Otherwise, the other steps will be meaningless.”

“I know that.” Lin Yi smiled. “But you don’t have to worry about this. I’ll find someone more professional to do it.”

“But don’t misunderstand. It’s not that you’re not capable, it’s just that this task is not suitable for a regular person like yourself.”

The three of them looked at each other and understood what Lin Yi meant.

They were going to mobilize the internet troll army.

Throughout the entire morning, Lin Yi stayed in his office with Qi Xianzhao and the other two to perfect the details of this matter.

This was to ensure that nothing went wrong.

Eventually, He Yuanyuan was the one who brought him lunch.

At 12 noon sharp, a post titled “Jaewon Electric Company Combating the Mainland Semiconductor Industry” went viral on the Internet.

It occupied the trending topics of dozens of web portals.

In less than two hours, this matter had fermented on the Internet.

At first, not many people believed such a post, but a recording that was released later confirmed the truth.

Apart from that, Lin Yi also asked Wang Yaxin and Wang Yongming to reveal on the Internet that this series of operations was instigated by Zhang Haiyong, the general manager of Jaewon Television.

Two real-name exposés and a recording completely confirmed the news of the television station attacking mainland companies.

It also made netizens and industry insiders believe that this matter was really done by the television station.

For a moment, public opinion skyrocket as they directed their spearheads at the television station. It even reached the level of public condemnation.

At three in the afternoon, Lin Yi stretched when he saw that things were getting worse. He felt that the time was ripe.

It was time to start the next phase of the plan.

Ring ring ring!

However, at this moment, Zhang Haiyong called again.

“Lin Yi, you’re shameless. You actually bribed the two of them to frame me!”

This time, Zhang Haiyong’s emotions were not as stable as before.

As soon as the call went through, he started roaring hysterically.

“Now that the evidence is conclusive, how can you say that I framed you?” Lin Yi said slowly.

“I’m at most giving you a taste of your own medicine.”

“I don’t want to listen to your nonsense right now. I order you to stop the false rumor attack immediately, or we’ll have to bring the law into this.”

“President Zhang, don’t be so irritable. I wanted to reconcile with you yesterday, but you insisted on acting cool in front of me. Now that you know that you can’t pretend anymore, you’re claiming you want to weaponize the law. Calling you a double standard dog would be flattering to you.”

“I can’t be bothered to talk nonsense with a scoundrel like you. If you continue to act recklessly, our station will not let this matter rest. I hope you won’t regret it when the time comes.”

“I never regret what I do. The game has just begun. Let’s play this out slowly.”

Lin Yi hung up without giving Zhang Haiyong a chance to speak.

“Boss, the other party seems to be losing his mind,” He Yuanyuan said.

“He’s just an idiot. So what if he goes berserk?”

With that, Lin Yi looked at Han Yao. “Have you prepared the public relations post I asked you to prepare? Go ahead and publish it now. You can take care of the rest yourself. I won’t accompany you.”

Lin Yi took the car keys and walked out of the office.

“Boss, where are you going? This matter hasn’t been settled yet.”

“It’s about time. I have to pick up your senior sister from work.”

“Doesn’t she get off work at five? It’s only half past three.”

“Our family is having a barbecue today, so she’s getting off work early and will go to the supermarket later.”

“Wait for me. I’m coming too.”

“Damn.”

Seeing He Yuanyuan leave with Lin Yi, Qi Xianzhao felt nothing toward it.

However, Han Yao was a little jealous.

When can I go to the boss’s house to freeload?

Why was the boss so serious?

Why didn’t he have any thoughts of sleeping with his female subordinates?

Sigh, how infuriating.

…

In Liang Ruoxu’s office in the Mechanism Compound.

Upon seeing the relevant post, Liang Ruoxu immediately made a video call to Shen Shuyi.

“Mom, you should have heard about Tonghua Electronics and Jaewon Television, right?”

“I saw it this morning.”

“After Lin Yi’s instigation, the two sides are now completely at war. Do you think Lin Yi has a chance of winning?”

“You can’t ask me about this. You have to ask Lin Yi.

“But he didn’t tell me exactly what happened, so I don’t have to worry.”

“He’s already said this, so what are you worried about? Also, Zhao Mo and the others were cleaned up by Lin Yi. You should believe in his ability by now.”

“There’s no doubting Lin Yi’s ability, but this time, he’s facing Zhang Zhongmou. I’m afraid he’ll suffer.”

Shen Shuyi smiled. “You’re not afraid that he’ll be at a disadvantage, but that he’ll be unable to recover after losing.”
