771 Studying The Art of War

“Boss, you’d better be clear about your current state.” He Yuan Yuan said.

“What’s my current state? I’m quite comfortable sitting right here. Your cayenne’s pretty good,” Lin Yi said.”I’ll get one when I’m free.”

“I didn’t mean it that way.” He Yuanyuan said, “I’m the one driving now. I just have to move the steering wheel slightly to make us both fall off the bridge. There will be no chance of survival at all.

“F*ck, you f*cking need to calm down.”

!!
“That will depend on your performance. I’m content to have you accompany me in death.”

“Alright, alright, alright. You’re awesome. Let’s talk this out.”

“This is more like the attitude of someone asking for help. Why must you force me to use my ultimate move?”

Lin Yi didn’t say anything else, afraid that the girl would really drive off the bridge.

After driving for more than 50 minutes, they arrived at the industrial park.

“This is New Asia Technology. If we go further, we’ll reach our Tonghua Electronics. If we go even further, we’ll see Huike Electronics.”

“We’re stuck right in the middle.”

“That’s right.” He Yuanyuan said.

“Originally, the scale of these three companies was not small, but over the years, Tonghua Electronics has made many mistakes in its decision-making. As the saying goes, one wrong step leads to all mistakes. That’s why we’re in this situation today.”

Lin Yi nodded. He didn’t care much about these things. It was his business now anyway.

“There are a few people standing at the entrance of New Asia Technology. Why are they looking at us?”

He Yuanyuan tilted her head and took a look. “I’ve seen those two before. They used to be the backbone of Tonghua Electronics. One was called Zhang Yanchun, and the other was called Liu Qiangbo. After the company was bought over, they defected and starting working here.”

“Did they leave on their own, or were they poached?”

“That’s hard to say.” He Yuanyuan said, “I didn’t have much contact with them. I never interacted much with this level of people.”

“Get out of the car first and go over to talk to them. If we can rope these people back, we can restart production as soon as possible.”

“Do you mean to go and find out what they are thinking first?”

Lin Yi nodded. “Let’s go take a look first.”

The two of them got out of the car together and walked towards the entrance of New Asia Technologies.

Seeing Lin Yi and He Yuanyuan walk over, Zhang Yanchun and Liu Qiangbo, who were smoking at the door, extinguished their cigarette butts and looked at the two of them cautiously.

“Master Zhang, Master Liu, you haven’t forgotten me, right? We met when we went to discuss the acquisition before this.”

“I still have some impression of you,” Zhang Yanchun said.

He Yuanyuan smiled. “This matter is quite complicated. I wanted to keep you in the factory, but I didn’t expect you to leave before that.”

“The factory has already changed owners. We also have to support our family. Naturally, we have to settle down,” Zhang Yanchun said.

“You’re right. Everyone is working hard to support themselves.” He Yuanyuan said.

“However, we plan to restart the contracting business for mobile phones in the near future. We want to hire the two of you back. The salary and benefits will be higher than before. What do you think?”

“Forget it. We’re not going back. The salary and treatment here are much better than before. Don’t try to fool us.”

“I’m really not lying about this. I brought my boss here today. I wouldn’t lie about this.”

The two raised their heads and glanced at Lin Yi.

“We don’t care who comes. Anyway, stop fooling people. It’s impossible for us to go back. Hurry up and head back now. Don’t delay our work.”

With that, the two of them turned around and returned to the factory, not giving Lin Yi and He Yuanyuan a chance to talk.

“Things don’t look good. This is a little difficult.” Lin Yi said after a few seconds of silence.

“How many of the technical backbones of Tonghua Electronics do you know?”

“There are almost four of them. These two have gone to New Asia Technologies. The other two should be at Huike Electronics.”

“Let’s go to Huike Electronics and see if we can catch those two.”

“You want to camp our for them?”

“How else would you do it?”

“You actually want a naturally beautiful girl like me to camp with you? Do you think this is something I should do?”

“I’ll give you a raise.”

“I, He Yuanyuan, was born to squat.”

The two of them drove a little further and arrived at the entrance of Huike Electronics.

However, there was no one at the door. Thus, they could only wait.

About an hour later, several groups of people walked out of the factory to smoke.

“Boss, Boss, they’re here.”

He Yuanyuan pointed at a bald middle-aged man walking out of the factory and said,

“He’s Wang Fu. He used to be one of the backbones of Tonghua Electronics.”

“Let’s go take a look.”

The two of them got out of the car and walked toward Wang Fu.

At the same time, Wang Fu and the ordinary workers beside him also saw Lin Yi and He Yuanyuan.

“Engineer Wang,” He Yuanyuan greeted him with a smile.

“What are you doing here?”

“I had nothing better to do, so I came over to take a look around.” He Yuanyuan smiled and said.

“How is it? Are you satisfied with your work here?”

“It’s fine,” Wang Fu replied indifferently. It seemed like he didn’t want to say too much to He Yuanyuan. His expression was a little cold.

“Engineer Wang, it’s like this. We came here this time to discuss some private matters with you.”

“What private matter?”

“We plan to restart Tonghua Electronics. We want to rehire you,” He Yuanyuan said.

“Don’t worry about the salary and treatment. It will definitely be higher than before. I definitely won’t treat you badly. My boss is right beside me. I swear this on his character and life.”

Lin Yi, ‘Damn it.

‘My character isn’t worth much, but don’t f*cking joke about my life.’

Hearing this, a few ordinary workers were tempted.

What they valued the most was benefits. They would work for whoever offered the highest salary.

However, Wang Fu’s expression was unchanged.

“Go away, don’t fool the people here. You capitalists are vampires who eat people up. Don’t think I’ll believe your nonsense.”

“Brother Wang, don’t be in a hurry to reject her. Let’s talk to her first. We’ll work for whoever gives us the most money.”

“You young people have never suffered a loss before. I’ll say this. You’ll definitely suffer if you go with them. Listen to me and work here in peace. I guarantee that you’ll be able to buy a house in a few years.”

“Alright, we’ll listen to Brother Wang.”

“Let’s go back to work. We don’t have to work overtime today.”

The few of them extinguished their cigarette butts and returned to the factory one after another.

He Yuanyuan spread her hands. “The situation is not very optimistic. It seems to be very difficult to pull them back.”

“It’s indeed very difficult. These people have already been bribed, so it’s not easy to deal with them.”

“I’m puzzled. We offered a high salary, but why didn’t they buy it? Are they so crazy that they do not want to earn money?”

“These people can obtain higher benefits in two factories. That’s why they showed such a strong reaction when we tried to recruit them now.” Lin Yi smiled.

“These people are quite impressive. Instead of studying how to do business, they’re studying the art of war.”
