I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 795 - 795 The Collision Begins

795 The Collision Begins

Lin Yi lowered his head, and Ji Qingyan intentionally teased him by touching her legs. When she reached her thighs, she appeared bold and seductive.

“Forget it. It’s more appropriate to ask He Yuanyuan to do this.”

“What do you mean? Are my legs not as good-looking as Yuanyuan’s?”

“This has nothing to do with whether or not you look good. Which man would let his wife go out and show her body like this?”

!!
Ji Qingyan was stunned for a moment before she burst into laughter.

“Try this pig liver. I learned this recipe just for you. It replenishes blood and energy. Eat more.”

That night, Ji Qingyan was in an exceptionally good mood.

She took the initiative to wash the dishes and tidy up the house. She didn’t even need Lin Yi to do anything.

Ring ring ring!

Lin Yi returned to the study and was about to do something serious when his phone rang.

It was a call from Wang Ran.

“Teacher Lin, bad news. There’s a problem with our equipment. We can’t produce our goods anymore.”

“What’s the issue?”

Lin Yi wasn’t as excited as she had imagined.

This was slightly surprising, but it was also within expectations.

He didn’t even need to guess to know what was going on.

This must be the work of that person called Zhang Haiyong who did not give up and was playing tricks again.

“Don’t worry, where are you?” Lin Yi asked.

“I’m at the factory. I’m preparing to investigate the problem and reorganize the production.”

“Wait for me at the factory. I’ll come over and take a look now.”

“Got it, Teacher Lin.”

After hanging up Wang Ran’s call, Lin Yi changed his clothes.

“It’s already past eight in the evening. Do you still need to go out?”

“Something happened at the factory. I’ll need to take care of it.”

With that, Lin Yi looked at his watch. “I’ll be back around ten. If you’re tired, sleep first. You don’t have to wait for me.”

Ji Qingyan stood in front of Lin Yi and helped him adjust his collar.

“Drive carefully on the road. Be careful.”

“Yeah.”

Lin Yi had been very busy recently, and Ji Qingyan was well aware of that. After a few words of advice, she stood in the courtyard and watched Lin Yi leave.

It was past eight in the evening, but there was still a lot of traffic on the road.

In such an international metropolis, everyone was still bustling about even at this time.

Some people were working hard to earn a keeping, while others were fooling around with others. In short, no one was idle.

Forty minutes later, Lin Yi drove to Tonghua Electronics.

Seeing that it was Lin Yi’s car, the guard took the initiative to open the door and welcome Lin Yi’s car in. However, Lin Yi stopped at the entrance of the workshop.

At this moment, other than Wang Ran and a few technical backbones of Longxin, there were more than 20 ordinary workers here. These people were all newly recruited.

Seeing Lin Yi enter, Wang Ran and the others went up to him.

“What’s wrong?” Lin Yi asked.

“During the day, everything was fine. Just now, when we were preparing to test production, we suddenly realized that there was a problem with the reflux welding machine. When we checked everything, we found that the drip film machine and the patch machine also had the same problem. Moreover, I heard from the master that such a problem seems to be very difficult to deal with. It’s very likely that we’ll have to buy new equipment.”

“You just said that the equipment was still good when you checked it during the day, so it means it suddenly broke down just now. Moreover, there were similar problems with the reflux welding machine, the drip film machine, and the patch machine, right?”

“Yes.” Wang Ran said, “We’re also actively taking photos to investigate the root cause, but we haven’t found it yet.”

Lin Yi asked expressionlessly, “Who discovered these problems?”

“It was Master Huo.”

Wang Ran made way for a middle-aged man behind her.

“Hello, President Lin. I’m the new factory manager hired by Tonghua Electronics. My name is Huo Zhilin. I was the workshop director at Honghai Technology before this.”

Lin Yi nodded. As the largest factory in the world, a workshop director who was poached from there was naturally skilled. He was indeed qualified to be the director of Tonghua Electronics.

“Do you have a plan now?” Lin Yi asked.

“Actually, all the equipment in front of us can be repaired, but the cost of repairing them is relatively high. Moreover, after repairing them, their lifespan will decrease. This is the main drawback to this approach,” Huo Zhilin said.

“The next option is to buy new equipment. This will ensure efficiency, but it will take a long time to receive them.”

“Master Huo, what do you think is the reason why the equipment suddenly broke down?”

“That’s hard to say,” Huo Zhilin said.

“It’s very likely that the piezoelectric power supply is unstable, which burned through the electrical components inside. The other reason is that the equipment is old. Coupled with improper maintenance, these problems will all be exposed together. In short, there can be many reasons. It’s very difficult to pinpoint the exact cause.”

“So much equipment was destroyed at once. If we purchase the replacements now, it will take at least a month including the installation and debugging time. Thus, it will be a long time before we can restart production,” Wang Ran muttered.

“You guys stay here and continue to check the other equipment. See if there are any other problems.” Lin Yi said.

“Wang Ran, come with me to the office.”

“Got it, Teacher Lin.”

The two of them walked out of the workshop and into the office together.

“Teacher Lin, scold me. I’ll take whatever you say,” Wang Ran said with tears in her eyes.

“Huh? Why would I scold you? This has nothing to do with you.”

“But I’m in charge of this matter. If anything goes wrong, I’ll definitely take full responsibility.”

Lin Yi smiled when he saw the tear-stained Wang Ran.

“Your courage to take responsibility is worthy of admiration. However, you can’t be blamed for this. Someone is deliberately playing tricks on us. Otherwise, so many things wouldn’t have happened at once.”

“Is someone playing tricks again?” Wang Ran said in surprise, “But didn’t we already take care of New Asia Technologies and Huike Electronics?”

“They’re just two chess pieces and don’t really matter,” Lin Yi said, “The real mastermind is someone sent by Jaewon Television. His name is Zhang Haiyong.”

In order to let Wang Ran grow quickly, Lin Yi felt that it was necessary to let her participate in these dealings. Otherwise, she would not be able to keep up with the development of Lingyun Group.

“TV station?” Wang Ran said in surprise.

“I know that this company is very famous all over the world, but there’s such a huge difference in size between our two companies. There’s no need for them to do this.”

“They’re doing this because they’re disgusting people.” Lin Yi leaned back in his chair and changed the topic.

“How’s your writing?”

“Enen… It’s alright. When I was in college, I wrote for the school newspaper.”

For someone as humble as Wang Ran, if she said her writing was alright, then it must be really good.

However, if it were He Yuanyuan, it would mean that her writing was worthless.

“When you go back later, see if there are any other problems with the equipment. Then, sort them out and publish an article in the tone of a third party. Tell them that this series of events was caused by the TV station, but remember, don’t mention Zhang Haiyong in the article. Point the finger at the entire TV station.”
