I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 793 - 793 This Is Too Difficult for Brother Mask

793 This Is Too Difficult for Brother Mask

“Flirting in the middle of the day. You youngsters are getting worse every year.”

“But you’re flirting too.”

“I guess that’s true too.”

The two of them chatted and laughed as they returned to Yangcheng. Then, Lin Yi brought Zhang Xiaoyu to see Wu Zhaoyou.

!!
On the way back, Wu Zhaoyou had already informed Lin Yi that he had contacted the upstream manufacturer who now wanted him to meet them.

Lin Yi and Zhang Xiaoyu worked non-stop for the entire day. By evening, they finally settled the early stage of the project.

When they returned to the hotel that night, the two of them ate in the buffet restaurant.

“Brother Lin, just now, Boss Ma from the cannery said that if we count it at 500 grams per cans and produce 2 million cans, the processing per can will be about 1 yuan and 1 cent. The shipping cost will be about 2 yuan, but we can start with sets of six cans and up it as necessary. If we do that, the shipping cost will be about 4 yuan. Calculated in this way, the total cost of a can of canned food will be about 5 yuan, which can then be sold for 29 yuan for 6.”

“The price is not bad. It’s cheap enough.”

Lin Yi was very satisfied with this price. He felt that there would be room for significant profit here.

“Brother Lin, it’s too early to be happy.”

“What do you mean?”

Zhang Xiaoyu shrugged. “In truth, our price isn’t cheap.”

“Is it not?”

“The sellers on e-commerce platforms and some platform streamers sell canned fruits that use old frozen fruits. That costs about a few hundred yuan a ton. Moreover, the processing plants are all small black-hearted workshops. In other words, they market it as the exact same canned fruits, but their cost won’t exceed two yuan.” Zhang Xiaoyu said.

“The upstream sources we found are all very proper, so the price is naturally high. As a result, our cost has increased. Other streamers sell canned food like this for about 19 yuan for 6 cans, which is much cheaper than our price.”

“If that’s the case, things will be a little difficult,” Lin Yi said.

Lin Yi didn’t know as much about e-commerce as Zhang Xiaoyu.

He felt that the water here was deeper than he had imagined.

“Indeed, because users are very sensitive to prices. Even if it’s ten cents more expensive, it will affect their demand.”

“There’s no other way. Since we’re helping farmers, we can’t treat them badly. Otherwise, this live stream will be meaningless.”

“Then we have to take the quality route. I’ll start a live stream tomorrow and record the acquisition and production process. I believe there will be many people who are willing to pay for the quality.”

“Okay.” Lin Yi nodded. “I’ll go with you tomorrow and then go back to Zhonghai after. I still have a lot of things to deal with there. You can take care of things over here.”

“Other than that, my colleagues will be in charge of the other products for the live streams. When the time comes, I’ll get them to contact you. You can just coordinate this matter with them.”

“Why do I feel like I’m being entrusted with the life on an orphan? Is he going to hand over all his power to me? This is my first time being a leader. I’m a little excited.”

“You can even come up with words like entrusted with the life on an orphan. I really want to crack your head open and see what’s inside.”

“Orphans are all so smart. Hoho…”

The next morning, the two of them woke up very early.

Because he had already made an appointment with the person-in-charge of the cannery to gather at Shuanghong Town at nine o’clock, it wouldn’t be good if he was late.

Apart from that, Lin Yi also contacted the bank and brought a large trunk of money over to settle the bill.

When they arrived at ShuanghongRed Town, they realized that there were many people gathered at the entrance of the town. Moreover, there were more than ten trucks that seemed to be preparing to load the goods.

“President Lin, Miss Zhang, you’re here.”

The person who spoke was in his forties. He was wearing a navy blue jacket. When he saw Lin Yi and Zhang Xiaoyu coming over, he took the initiative to greet them.

The man’s name was Zhu Juncai. He was the director of Dynasty Canning Factory. Dynasty Canning Factory was a very famous factory that was known throughout the country.

“Sorry I’m late,” Lin Yi smiled.

“President Lin, you’re too polite. We’re clearly early.”

“I think it’s almost ready. Let’s start. Let’s try to finish it as soon as possible and then start production.”

“Okay, okay, okay. Let’s start now.”

The acquisition began very quickly. Everything was carried out according to the process.

Zhang Xiaoyu held her phone and did a live stream. She tried to capture the real scene and convinced the netizens that the quality of the things she bought was higher than others.

At the same time, four vans and a black BMW 7 Series were approaching Shuanghong Town at an extremely fast speed.

“What the hell is going on? How dare they steal our business?”

The person who spoke was sitting in the passenger seat of the BMW.

He was in his thirties with a cigarette in his hand and a tattoo on his arm. He looked like he wanted to eat someone.

The man’s name was Shi Jianqiang. His company was in the business of processing fruits.

Originally, he wanted to waste some more time with the people of Shuanghong Town. Then, he would take back all the fruits at a low price and ask his brother-in-law for credit.

However, he did not expect to be intercepted.

“I think they’re from Zhonghai. I heard that they’re two streamers. They took all the fruits and want to can them to sell in their live stream.”

The person who spoke was Shi Jianqiang’s driver and assistant.

“F*ck, even a streamer dares to be so arrogant?”

“Streamers nowadays are really like this. They dare to do anything they please.”

“Hurry up and drive. I’m going to see what the two people who stole my business are like. Damn it, they really don’t want to live anymore.”

About twenty minutes later, Shi Jianqiang drove to Shuanghong Town with his men.

Seeing the acquisition scene in full swing, the anger in Shi Jianqiang’s stomach surged.

“Get out of the car with me.”

At Shi Jianqiang’s order, the people in the four cars all rushed down and shouted,

“Stop it, all of you! Who told you to collect the things here!”

Shi Jianqiang’s scolding made the others stop what they were doing. They looked at the people in front of them with fear and trepedation.

Seeing these sudden people, the people in the live stream also changed their focus.

“Xiaoyu, what’s going on? You were just supposed to come here to collect fruits. Why is someone here to cause trouble?”

“These people look fierce. They seem to be local hooligans. Will you and Brother Mask be in danger?”

Seeing these people, Zhang Xiaoyu was also dumbfounded.

They didn’t seem to have provoked anyone when they were buying these things.

Where did these guys come from?

“Everyone, don’t worry. You all know how skilled Brother Mask is. If they’re here to cause trouble, Brother Mask won’t be afraid of them.”

“We know that Brother Mask is very good in a one-on-one fight, but a tiger can’t beat a pack of wolves. There are so many people on the other side. If you really fight, you’ll definitely not be their match.”

“Exactly. He also has a burden like you. This is too difficult for Brother Mask.”
