Chapter 772 - 772 Acting Tough in Front of Lin Yi?

772 Acting Tough in Front of Lin Yi?

“Hmm? What art of war?”

“These two factories offered the four of them a higher salary. Then, they had these four people fool the ordinary workers into swapping factories. In this way, their goal would be achieved.”

“What kind of treatment would you have to offer them to be willing to do this?”

“It doesn’t have to be high. It’s probably even lower than you think. I’ll give you an example and you’ll understand.” Lin Yi said.

!!
“If each of the four of them can pull in a hundred people with promises to increase their salary and treatment, the benefits these four people get are a commission from the increment in salary.

“Think about it. If the factories raise their salary by 100 yuan and they get a commission of 10 yuan for each person, they will get an additional 1,000 yuan a month. For ordinary people, this is no longer a small sum. Even if we can increase their salary, it won’t be by so much.

“Based on this reason, their performance just now is very reasonable. Ordinary employees are willing to give it a try because they think that they can get better treatment from us. However, these four people are very aware that if they come back to work here, they won’t be able to get any commission, so they strongly object.”

“I understand what you mean. If what you said is true, they really don’t have to pay much to hold these people tightly in their hands.” He Yuanyuan nodded and said.

“But there’s one other thing. These guys have to pay quite a high salary to do this. This is a heavy burden on the factory itself.”

Lin Yi smiled. “It seems like I’ve been too good to you. I’ve made you forget what capitalists are like.”

“What do you mean?”

“Factories like this have very strict rules and regulations. Usually, if you find a good reason, you can dock them any extra salary they earn.” Lin Yi said.

“Another example is that in a factory like this, the workplace provides the food for lunch. If they can save a little on food, the workers end up saving a lot of money. Therefore, spending more money is not a problem for them.”

He Yuanyuan thought for a moment and said,

“In their understanding, they might think that we won’t be able to last long and that they can count on us dying. When we completely give up on Tonghua Electronics, they won’t have to care about the interests of these ordinary employees anymore. By then, they will either reduce their salaries or lay off their employees to maximize their profit. I should be right, right?”

“Clever. That’s what it means.”

“Then what should we do now? These two factories have someone supporting them. It’s obvious that they want to fight us to the death. Do we have to spend money to destroy them?”

“If that’s the case, we’ll let them have their way. Their goal isn’t to destroy us, but to stall us.”

“Then what should we do? Why don’t we just give them a little more money and bring all the employees back?”

“Do you think I would do such a lowly thing? Besides, this isn’t a good plan. It might not be effective.”

“What else can we do? If we don’t resolve this matter quickly, our phone system business will have to be delayed.”

“Do you have the contact information of the people in charge of these two factories?”

“Yeah, I got it all.”

“Let’s go. Get in the car. I’ll make a call.”

Back in the car, He Yuanyuan gave Lin Yi the phone numbers of the people in charge of both factories.

“Hello, is this Boss Wang from New Asia Technologies? I’m the person-in-charge of Tonghua Electronics. There’s something I want to talk to you about. Boss Wang, do you have time?”

“Aiyo, so it’s President Lin. I’ve heard a lot about you.”

“Boss Wang, you’re too kind. I just bought Tonghua Electronics. We’ll be neighbors from now on. I want to treat you to some wine. Boss Wang, will you do me the honor?”

“What a coincidence. I’m away on a business trip overseas right now. Who knows when I’ll be able to go back? I’ll call you when I get back.”

“That means you won’t have time to see me in the near future.”

“I don’t think I have time. I’m really sorry, President Lin.”

“Then can you come back in the next month? I’ll be free in the next month.”

“Aiya, a month doesn’t seem possible. I can’t come back for at least two to three months, but don’t be anxious. When I come back, I’ll definitely treat you to a meal. We have to have a good drink.”

“Alright, I’ll wait for Boss Wang’s call.”

“Okay, okay, okay. No problem. I still have something on here, so I’ll hang up first.”

“Alright, go ahead.”

“You’ve been rejected, haven’t you?” He Yuanyuan gloated.

“Don’t worry, there’s another one.”

With that, Lin Yi dialed another person’s number.

“Hello, is this Boss Sun from Huike Electronics? I’m Lin Yi, the person in charge of Tonghua Electronics. I want to ask you out for a meal tonight. Boss Sun, are you free?”

“Hey, isn’t this President Lin? It’s my honor to have you treat me to a meal.”

“That means you have time.”

“It’s an honor, but I’ve been quite busy recently. My wife has given birth to a second child, so I’m accompanying her in her hometown to recuperate. I don’t know when I’ll return to Zhonghai, so I have to postpone the meal. I’m really sorry.”

“When will you be back? I have time over the next month.”

“It’s hard to say. My wife’s health isn’t too good. It should be very difficult for her to return in the next few months. President Lin, don’t mind me. When I go back, I’ll definitely visit you immediately.”

“Alright, we’ll talk about it when you come back.”

“Okay, okay, okay. That’s all for now.”

Lin Yi hung up, and He Yuanyuan smiled.

“These two people’s pretentious skills are too stiff. They’re on a completely different level from you.”

“That’s why people like them usually don’t end up well.”

“What do you want to do? Either way, this matter shouldn’t drag on for too long.”

“It’s a small matter. Let’s go back first.”

“Then I won’t worry about it with him. Think of a way to resolve this matter. Brother Qi and I will handle the rest.”

“Sure.”

“Then what are you going to do now? Are you going back to Lingyun Group?”

Lin Yi looked at his watch and realized that it was almost four o’clock. Thus, he gave up on his previous idea.

“I won’t be going. I’m picking your senior sister up from work.”

He Yuanyuan sent Lin Yi to Chaoyang Group and went back to Lingyun Group herself.

“How about hotpot tonight?”

Sitting in the front passenger seat, Ji Qingyan said, “I’ll treat this as a welcome party for you.”

“Alright, I’ll eat whatever you say.”

“That’s right. Be good.”

After leaving Chaoyang Group, the two of them went to the supermarket to buy hotpot ingredients before driving home.

When they reached home, the steaming hotpot was quickly served. The two of them had a delicious meal and ate happily.

“Oh right, there’s something I need your help with,” Lin Yi asked while eating.

“What is it?”

“Get me an engineering team. I want to build a road.”
