I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 785 - 785 Itʼs Boring if Itʼs Too Showy

785 It’s Boring if It’s Too Showy

The group walked out of the factory.

There were more than 200 people gathered at the entrance.

“So many people left Tonghua Electronics?” Lin Yi smiled.

“There are so many people gathered here. It looks quite scary.”

!!
“Teacher Lin, don’t be afraid. We’re in the right. Ignore them.”

Lin Yi laughed. “I’m not scared. Let’s go.”

Seeing Lin Yi and Wang Ran come out, Zhang Yanchun and the others surrounded them. There was no gap in between them at all.

“President Lin, didn’t you just say that you wanted to hire us back with a high salary? I went back just now and thought about it. I still think your place is more suitable for me. Moreover, I brought back all the employees who left previously. Let us apply for job now.”

“Yes, yes, yes. We’re all willing to return to the factory to work. We don’t want to work in the other two factories anymore.”

“Wait, wait.” Lin Yi said.

“I didn’t say I wanted to hire you, right? Why are all of you so happy?”

“President Lin, you said it yourself. Why aren’t you admitting it now?” Zhang Yanchun said.

“I did indeed say it just now, but I’m not saying it now,” Lin Yi said.

“And didn’t you keep saying that you couldn’t work properly here and that I even docked your salary? Why are you back now?”

Zhang Yanchun blushed and said awkwardly, “It was a misunderstanding just now. Now that the misunderstanding has been cleared up, I would naturally come back. I believe that under your leadership, Tonghua Electronics will definitely get better and better.”

Lin Yi patted Zhang Yanchun’s shoulder earnestly.

“I managed to open such a big factory. Do you think I’m an idiot to believe your words? Go somewhere else and find another job. Don’t embarrass yourself here.”

“President Lin, you can’t do this. We’re all waiting to eat,” Zhang Yanchun questioned.

“But I gave you a job and you didn’t take it then. How can you blame me for this?” Lin Yi said, “Make way, we have to go. I won’t accompany you anymore.”

“No way!”

Zhang Yanchun stood in front of Lin Yi and said, “If you don’t arrange this for us today, we won’t let you leave!”

Whoosh!

Lin Yi kicked Zhang Yanchun’s body, and the latter fell to the ground. “What? Do you think I’m too young to fight you?”

Seeing that Zhang Yanchun had been kicked, the others were so frightened that they hurriedly moved aside and did not dare to say anything.

After leaving the factory, Lin Yi returned home.

Just as he opened the door, the phone in his pocket rang. It was a call from Li Lin.

“Mr. Lin, are you busy?”

“I’m not busy. If you have something to say, just say it.”

“It’s about the public welfare live stream for farmers. The date is set for next Friday. I’ll tell you more about it.”

Lin Yi felt that this call came at just the right time.

In the morning, Zhang Xiaoyu had called to ask about this matter. Now, Li Lin had called too.

“Sure, go ahead.”

“The event this time is being held on Douyu, Douyin, and Kuaishou. Although it’s a public service broadcast, there will inevitably be a competition in the dark. Therefore, selling things is only one of the aspects of the stream. We can’t lose in terms of popularity and sales either.”

“I know that.”

Now, all the major live-stream platforms were competing for traffic. No one wanted to lose, so they had to fight courageously.

“Apart from that, we’ve also arranged to have a celebrity guest for you. When the time comes, you’ll live stream together. That way, you should be able to sell more.”

“Hmm…”

Lin Yi could understand the officials’ actions.

If he had the support of a popular celebrity, the effect would be even better, so Lin Yi didn’t say anything.

“Other than these, what other requests do you have?”

“What’s left to discuss are the contents of the live streams. We’ve prepared six products for you. I’ll send you a few documents later. It’s all written on there. There are also videos of other streamers selling goods. When the time comes, you can learn and understand the process of selling goods via the live stream.” Li Lin said.

“I feel that with your ability, it shouldn’t be difficult to handle this matter.”

“Have you prepared what I want to sell?”

Lin Yi didn’t mind Li Lin’s flattery and asked the question he wanted to know the most.

“There are a few counties that are doing very well in the reprocessing of agricultural products. The products they produce are also good. We chose a few that are cost-effective and are prepared to use these products during the live stream.”

“Wait, I have a question.” Lin Yi interrupted Li Lin, “Since these places all process agricultural products, they shouldn’t be poor, right?”

“Um…”

This question stumped Li Lin.

Just as Lin Yi had said, these places could be said to be decent, and they were not really poor.

“Don’t tell me you have other ideas on this?”

“Since it’s a live broadcast for farmers, we should find some poor places to help them sell their goods and expand their market. Even if we help those other places, the money we earn in the end won’t end up in the hands of the commoners. In that case, what’s the use of the event in the first place?”

On the other end of the line, Li Lin fell silent.

She really wanted to tell Lin Yi that this public welfare live stream for farmers was actually a show.

What the platform cared about was not who could earn this money. Instead, it wanted to obtain a huge amount of traffic and express its corporate attitude to the relevant leaders.

They did not actually care whether the commoners could earn money or benefit from it.

However, Lin Yi’s intentions were a little different from the platform’s.

“What you think of this?” Li Lin asked seriously.

“Can I choose the products myself?”

After thinking for a long time, Li Lin said, “I can’t promise you that. I need to apply to the platform first.”

“Is there a need to apply for such a small matter?”

“Mr. Lin, you might not know this,” Li Lin said.

“There are many benefits involved here. It’s not something that can be changed just like that, so I can only try my best to request this. I can’t guarantee that the bosses will agree.”

“Alright, go and apply. If you can’t agree, you can just change hosts.” Lin Yi said.

“Although such a live stream is partly for show, it will be boring if it’s too showy.”

“I understand. I’ll apply for this,” Li Lin said. “But don’t be so stubborn. Is there no room for negotiation?”

“No,” Lin Yi said, “I don’t want to earn money from your platform. I have to do something I like.”

Lin Yi’s words reminded Li Lin of the scene in front of the western restaurant.

He had left in a Bugatti, so he didn’t lack the money.

Other than that, he also had the ability to influence Lingyun Group’s investment in Douyu.

Just these acts alone were enough to show that this man was not ordinary.

She had to be careful with her words.

“I know what you mean. Just wait for my news,” Li Lin said.

“By the way, there’s one more thing I have to tell you. Guo Shibo has been fired by Douyu.”
