I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 790 - 790 Should I Prepare a Red Packet?

790 Should I Prepare a Red Packet?

“Stockings?” Zhang Xiaoyu said.

“I don’t wear that stuff much, so I don’t keep it in the fridge.”

“That’s fine then.”

Lin Yi sighed in his heart. “Finally, I met someone normal.”

!!
He opened the bottle and took a sip, preparing to discuss serious matters with Zhang Xiaoyu.

“But my underwear is kept in there.”

“F*ck.”

Lin Yi felt a little nauseous. “People normally only put stockings. Why did you put your underwear there?”

“It’s the same principle. Mine are all lace. They’re so durable that they won’t change shape easily.”

“F*ck, go and boil some water for me.”

“Um… Brother Lin, those are all new pieces of underwear. You don’t have to show me such a strong psychological reaction.”

“Make the water burning hot.”

Zhang Xiaoyu pursed her lips. Brother Lin’s personal mannerisms were so strange.

Logically speaking, wasn’t this a very tempting thing?

Following Lin Yi’s instructions, Zhang Xiaoyu went to boil another pot of water to help calm him down.

When she came back, Zhang Xiaoyu moved a small stool and sat in front of Lin Yi.

“Brother Lin, how did you plan the live stream?”

“Actually, the platform had already prepared everything that it wants to sell, but I think that by doing so, the capitalists will make money. Thus, I found a few poor counties on my own. The local area has a certain industrial advantage, but there are currently no good sales channels for them to sell their goods. I want to help them.”

Zhang Xiaoyu looked at him. “Brother Lin, are these the questions that you capitalists should be thinking about?”

“What are you talking about? Can’t I think about these things?”

“But those rich people usually just brag and take the money to build a good reputation for themselves. It’s rare to see someone like you do it yourself.” Zhang Xiaoyu said.

“Don’t you think it’s a waste of your brain cells to think so carefully about such a small matter?”

“I don’t want to do it, but I have to do it to the best of my ability,” Lin Yi said, “I don’t want to have nothing on my epitaph other than words praising my good looks.”

“Hahaha… Brother Lin is right.” Zhang Xiaoyu laughed. “Then let’s start now. There’s still a week left. We have to hold on tight.”

Lin Yi handed his phone over. On it was a list of materials that Zhao Yali had compiled.

“Someone else helped me choose these goods. Pick a few of them for me to sell.”

Not everything was suitable to be sold during a live broadcast.

Lin Yi couldn’t control this. He simply had to let Zhang Xiaoyu do it.

“Fruits, tea leaves, flowers, rice, iron pots…”

Zhang Xiaoyu muttered about the dozen or so items and then looked troubled.

“Brother Lin, these things are relatively interesting.”

“It should be alright. They’re all necessities.”

“But they’re not suitable to be sold during live streams.” Zhang Xiaoyu said.

“On live stream platforms, the most suitable thing to sell are fast-selling goods. To put it bluntly, they’re food and drinks. Although daily necessities can also be sold, the sales aren’t guaranteed. In this three-way live stream battle, sales are a very important indicator, so it’d be embarrassing to sell too little.”

Lin Yi nodded. What Zhang Xiaoyu said made sense.

“But there are only so many things they are capable of making. If they had the ability to process these things, they wouldn’t be so poor.”

Zhang Xiaoyu smiled mysteriously. “Brother Lin, you should be very rich, right? It shouldn’t be a problem for you to fork out a few hundred million, right?”

“What are you saying?”

“I have a suggestion. For example, things like fruits. We can process them properly and turn them into canned fruits. That way, it will be much easier to sell them.” Zhang Xiaoyu said.

“However, the prerequisite is that we have to buy them all and then process them after. This way, we can increase the sales and also achieve the goal of helping the farmers.”

“That’s a good idea,” Lin Yi said, “Then let’s go now. We’ll go to Jinfeng County in Yangcheng. That way, I can go home too.”

“Yes, yes.” Zhang Xiaoyu nodded and said,

“Let’s prepare some food products, such as tea leaves, rice, iron pots, and so on. We have to prepare more diversified goods. Although sales are very important, it’s a public welfare live stream. We have to do it seriously.”

“You’re finally making sense.”

“Hoho, I learned this from Brother Lin,” Zhang Xiaoyu said with a smile.

“Then let’s go now.”

“Let’s go. I’ll go change now.”

Zhang Xiaoyu returned to her room to change her clothes. Meanwhile, Lin Yi took out his phone and called Zhao Yali.

He wanted to tell her his thoughts and arrange for a work trip because he could not run to so many places by himself.

After arranging the trip, Lin Yi called Ji Qingyan and told her about his schedule so that she wouldn’t worry.

Soon, Zhang Xiaoyu packed her things and booked a plane ticket. Then, the two of them drove to the airport.

At around five in the evening, Lin Yi and Zhang Xiaoyu got off the plane and took a taxi to the orphanage.

Zhang Xiaoyu was surprised when she found out that Lin Yi was an orphan.

By then, she finally understood why Lin Yi was so concerned about public welfare.

This was because he had experienced things that others had not.

When they arrived at the orphanage, it was already past six in the evening.

The children were being called back inside and there was no one in the small playground.

Although it was not late, it was already winter. Wang Cuiping called the children back in advance to prevent them from catching a cold.

“Mom.”

Walking into the three-story building, Lin Yi saw Wang Cuiping holding a child’s hand as they walked upstairs.

“Son, you…”

Wang Cuiping stopped mid-sentence.

Over the phone, Ji Qingyan had already said that Lin Yi would be back.

It was originally a happy event, but Wang Cuiping was a little unhappy when she saw him.

Why did he bring a girl back?

This rascal was really asking for a beating!

Although she thought this in her heart, Wang Cuiping still greeted her with a smile. This was the most basic form of courtesy.

There were some things that had to be kept behind closed doors and could not be revealed.

“Son, who is this?”

“My friend came with me to do something.”

“Then come in quickly. The food is ready. Let’s eat first.”

Lin Yi and Zhang Xiaoyu were welcomed to the third floor. When they were eating, Wang Cuiping even called Wang Dongdong over.

“Brother Lin.”

Upon seeing Lin Yi, Wang Dongdong jogged over and hugged him.

Although he had not been here for long, he had gained weight and was in good condition.

“How is it? Are you used to it here?”

“Yes, yes. Mother Wang treats me very well,” Wang Dongdong said with a smile. “But if my grades aren’t good, I’ll get scolded.”

“You still have the cheek to say that,” Wang Cuiping said with a smile.

“Be grateful that I didn’t beat you up.”

Wang Dongdong chuckled. He also knew that Mother Wang was doing this for his own good.

After the family meal, the atmosphere was harmonious and joyful. Only Wang Cuiping had a lot on her mind.

Should she prepare a red packet or not?
