599 Ji Qingyan Has Expressed Her Stand

“Old Sun, tell me what you think first.” Lin Yi said.

“Actually, we knew ever since this project’s inception that it would be very difficult for it to bring substantial benefits to the company,” Sun Fuyu said.

“However, for a new operating system, the user’s opinion is the most important thing. Even if we feel that the system is perfect, this opinion will be one-sided. The end-user has to be the one to say yes in order to obtain the market’s approval.”

“President Lin, we also support you,” He Yuanyuan said.

!!
“However, I feel that going public in such a short period of time will definitely not be rewarded by the market. We can wait until the technology is more mature before doing this.”

“But if the system is not market-oriented, we will never get feedback, or even find a clear direction for the development of our system, ” Sun Yu said.

“We’ve already been left far behind by the other mobile phone giants. The longer we delay, the greater the distance between us and them. It’ll be very difficult for us to catch up.”

He Yuanyuan and Sun Fuyu had a heated debate about when to launch the new system.

Only then did Lin Yi realize how articulate Sun Fuyu was.

It was not an easy task to challenge He Yuanyuan for such a long time.

As the saying goes, the feet decides the direction of the head. Their positions were different, and both of them held their own views. Despite this, neither of them had any intention of loosening up.

Even though Sun Fuyu was at a disadvantage in terms of articulation, he still upheld his own views and did not give up.

Seeing that neither side was willing to let go, Lin Yi felt that it was time for him to make a move.

However, just as she was about to speak, he heard Ji Qingyan say,

“I think Director Sun’s idea is quite good.”

He Yuanyuan and Tian Yan looked at Ji Qingyan.

There was a hint of surprise in their eyes.

This was clearly an unprofitable project. Why did Senior Sister still support it?

It was impossible for her not to have thought of these questions.

“There are indeed a lot of uncertainties regarding the development of the mobile phone system, and its future prospects are also unclear.”

“From the feedback of the market alone, there is a very high that we will end up losing money. However, with Lingyun Group’s business model, multisectoral development is our only way forward.”

“Director Tian came from Didi. He knows the situation of Didi best. In the previous quarterly and annual reports, he could actually conclude that Didi has already reached the stage of stable development. However, in a market as big as this country, this is already the first warning sign.

“The new system will be very difficult to promote for general mobile phone use, but it’ll still be very useful for things relating to smart travel, AI interaction, internet of things, and other directions.”

Ji Qingyan changed her posture. Her gaze did not land on anyone in particular as she calmly said,

“I don’t understand the Internet industry, but I think Longxin and Didi might be able to reach a partnership in this area to offset the risk of the former entering the mobile phone market. They can also set up a platform to easily increase adoption in the mobile phone market.”

After Ji Qingyan’s speech, the atmosphere in the store became strange again.

Wang Ran stole a glance at Ji Qingyan, her eyes filled with admiration.

President Ji had done everything that Teacher Lin should have done. She had even adopted the role of the bad guy.

He resolved the conflict between the two factions but was also mindful of both sides’ egos.

Moreover, he made Teacher Lin out to be a good person. She was really amazing.

When could she be like this too?

Back then, when she found out that Lin Yi had transferred Tian Yan away from Didi, Ji Qingyan had suspected this.

There was no doubting Cheng Shuang and Tian Yan’s abilities.

In order to weaken Didi, Lin Yi transferred Tian Yan to the investment department of Lingyun Group.

This was to prevent the conflict between Didi and Lingyun Group.

This had been going great as Didi and Lingyun Group were both doing well. Unexpectedly, it was Longxin that would be the first to have internal conflict.

There was nothing to wrong with He Yuanyuan and Tian Yan’s character.

Sun Fuyu and Lu Ying were both simple-minded and honest people.

However, if they all thought from their own perspectives, there would definitely be conflicts and contradictions.

In the long run, these conflicts would only intensify. This would not be good for the future development of Lingyun Group.

“President Ji makes sense. Rather than saying that Didi’s development is at a stable stage, it’s more like it has reached a bottleneck. President Cheng is also actively thinking of a reformation plan. The development of the new operating system might just be a new opportunity for Didi,” Tian Yan said.

“I was just briefly stating my thoughts, but we still have to focus on the actual situation. We still have to go back and discuss this further,” said Ji Qingyan.

“Okay,” Sun Fuyu said.

“Alright, let’s proceed with what we discussed just now.” Lin Yi said.

“Old Sun, continue to develop the phone system. Don’t slow down. Go back and study smart travel systemas well.”

“Got it, President Lin.”

“I’ll leave Longxin and Sci-Tech’s procedures for the public merger to you.” Lin Yi looked at Wang Ran.

“To me?” Wang Ran was flattered and nervous.

She had just walked out of the school gate not long ago, and he was already asking her to take on such a difficult task?

“Teacher Lin, I’m afraid that I won’t be able to do it and will ruin the work.”

Lin Yi looked at Wang Ran. “Are you sure?”

“I…”

Lu Ying reached behind her and secretly pinched Wang Ran.

“I can do it!”

“As long as you’re confident, you can do this. Work with Director He and Director Tian to prepare for Longxin’s launch.”

“Got it, Teacher Lin.”

Lu Ying secretly heaved a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Wang Ran had reacted quickly.

Otherwise, with her boss’s personality, he would have kicked her off this job.

“Alright, today’s meeting will end here.” Lin Yi stood up.

“You guys probably haven’t eaten yet. I’ll let you try my cooking.”

At this moment, the tense atmosphere in the small shop relaxed and returned to its usual friendly state.

However, in He Yuanyuan’s heart, she still could not calm down.

There were some things that she could not figure out.

Creak…

The door of the store was pushed open and four girls walked in.

Lin Yi recognized two of them. They were Zhao Yuetong and Li Chang, who had come for lunch yesterday.

One of the remaining two girls was about the same age as them. She should be their classmate.

The remaining one was slightly older, about 30 years old. She didn’t look like their classmates.

However, to Lin Yi, none of this mattered. He just had to come here to eat and earn money.

“Hello, Boss.”

Although there were many people in the room, Li Chang wasn’t afraid at all. She smiled and greeted Lin Yi.

“In order to support you, we even invited our professional instructor.”

Lin Yi understood that the older woman was their instructor.

“I’ll give each of you a bottle of juice later.”

Juice was not on the menu and was usually sold separately.

After giving it to them, he would only earn less profit. However, this would not affect the progress of the mission.

“Hehe, thank you, Boss.”

After saying that, Li Chang looked at the female teacher beside her.

“Teacher Sun, he’s the computer god I told you about before. We can’t understand the code he wrote. It’s like a heavenly scroll.”

“Alright, calm down. We’re here to eat,” Sun Jia said.

“Hehe, I understand, Teacher Sun.”

“What do you want to eat?” Lin Yi asked.

“Egg-fried rice will do,” Li Chang said.

“Boss, can you put more rice in for me? I can’t eat enough.”

“No problem.”

To Lin Yi, as long as the customer paid according to the price on the menu, he would have completed a mission.

Therefore, it was not a big problem to make more for them.

There were guests, and Lin Yi was prepared to cook for them before entertaining He Yuanyuan and the others.

Business was more important.

“I-I’ll go to the kitchen to help,” Wang Ran said.

She couldn’t stand the tense atmosphere of sitting with these big shots. Thus, she needed to hide for a while.

She was still very comfortable being by Teacher Lin’s side.

“Look, I was right wasn’t I? Isn’t the boss handsome? Egg-fried rice that costs 189 yuan per serving is definitely worth it,” Li Chang said.

“It’s more than worth it. This trip is invaluable. I suddenly have the motivation to learn. In the future, when I make a lot of money, it’ll be easier for me to see such handsome men,” the other girl said.

“Not to mention 189 yuan per serving of egg-fried rice, even if it’s sold for 298 yuan, I’d still come and support him. The boss is too good-looking and speaks so gently. He’s a Teasure Boy.”

He Yuanyuan looked at Ji Qingyan maliciously and whispered,

“Senior Sister, these little girls don’t seem to care about you.”

“I don’t think much of them.” Ji Qingyan raised her head.

“They’re just infatuated college students. It’s not a big deal.”

“Don’t you have any sense of urgency? This is Zhonghai University Town, a place where beauties are everywhere.”

Ji Qingyan puffed out her chest. “If I don’t even have this little bit of confidence, I’ll be doomed in the future. I’ll be forced to watch Lin Yi every day.”

“You’re just taking advantage of the fact that the boss likes curvy women and are bullying them because they’re flat.”

“This is my advantage. It would be a waste not to use it.”

The two of them laughed and chatted for a while.

However, it was obvious that Ji Qingyan really did not care about what these people said about Lin Yi.

These girls’ comments on Lin Yi made He Yuanyuan smile faintly.

These little girls were really too inexperienced.

Treasure Boy?

He should be called Big Sword Boy.

“Don’t forget that you’re students. Studies are more important. Don’t focus your mind on these useless things,” Sun Jia said.

“Teacher Sun, don’t you think that the boss is very handsome?”

“This has nothing to do with your studies. Put your mind to the right place and don’t neglect the essentials.”

Sun Jia did not come here to see the handsome man or to eat. She just wanted to see the situation surrounding this small shop.

Society nowadays was too chaotic. There were all kinds of people around.

Zhao Yuetong, Li Chang, and the others were still inexperienced female university students. It was very easy for them to be deceived by men, so they had to be careful.

As for the title of computer god, Sun Jia did not care about this at all.

Computer science was a very complicated major. It was very difficult to self-study it without professional learning.

If he really had such superb computer skills, he would not have become a chef here.

Any random software developer would earn more than a shop owner.

This was Sun Jia’s motive for coming here.

In less than twenty minutes, Wang Ran brought out four plates of egg-fried rice to Li Chang and the others.

“Enjoy.”

“Thank you,” Li Chang replied and called out to the others.

“Quickly try it. The boss’s egg fried rice is invincible and delicious.”

“It doesn’t matter if it’s delicious or not. To be able to meet such a handsome boss, even if it’s not delicious, I still think it’s worth it.”

Everyone’s gaze fell on Ji Qingyan.

The lady boss was still here, yet these people were spouting nonsense. Did they want the boss to sleep on the couch that night?

Ji Qingyan was also a little unhappy.

Just say a few words and be done with it. Why was there an endless flow of comments?

“Boss, are you the only one working in this shop?” Zhao Yuetong asked.

“Yeah.” Lin Yi nodded. “Sometimes my friends come to help.”

“Do you need a part-time waitress?” Zhao Yuetong asked.

“Yes, yes, yes. Do you have any plans to hire a waitress?” Li Chang said coquettishly.

“We don’t want money. We can work for free. Boss, please take us in.”

“Uh…” Lin Yi’s expression froze as he felt a faint killing intent spreading across the room.

“Do you guys want to work here?” Sun Jia asked.

“I want to try,” Zhao Yuetong said.

“Didn’t the school say that they encouraged university students to come out and get training? I think working here is also a form of training.”

“You’re all in your third year now. It’s time for you to get proper experience. You should focus on your studies.”

Sun Jia was afraid that they would be deceived, so she followed them over to take a look at the situation.

Now, it seemed that it was necessary for her to have tagged along.

This was because even a school belle like Zhao Yuetong seemed to be falling for him.

“The boss is a computer god. If I really get to work here, I can ask him if there’s anything I don’t understand. This will be beneficial to my studies,” Li Chang said.

“Computer science is a very advanced profession. It’s not easy to become good at it.”

“But the boss is different. He’s so handsome, so he must be very powerful,” Li Chang said infatuatedly, then looked at Lin Yi.

“Boss, hire us. We’ll work for free.”

“Uh… That’s a little difficult. Our recruitment requirements are very high. You guys should focus on your studies first,” Lin Yi rejected politely.

Sun Jia nodded in satisfaction. It seemed that her appearance had a certain deterrent effect.

Otherwise, it would have been really be easy for him to succeed.

Ji Qingyan was also very satisfied with Lin Yi’s answer. It was not bad.

“A very high requirement? Do you need an undergraduate degree to wash dishes?”

“Uh… I think that might still be a bit little lacking.” Lin Yi pointed at Lu Ying and the others.

“These people are all here to apply for the job. They don’t even know if they can get it.”

Li Chang, Zhao Yuetong, and the others were stunned. They felt that this small shop was very special. They had put on such a big show to hire a waiter.

Moreover, these ladies seemed to be very good-looking and had good figures.

“Sis, what is your degree?” Li Chang asked Lu Ying curiously.

“Tsinghua, Computer Technology and Science, PhD.”
