I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 558: Our Mother Has Arrived in Zhonghai

“Big Sis, can you have some common sense?” Lin Yi said.

“When a doctor performs surgery, he doesn’t wear anything except his surgical gown. Otherwise, he will be covered in sweat. Who can withstand it?”

“Nonsense. Why can a female doctor take it but not a male?”

“It’s the same for female doctors,” Lin Yi said.

!!
“Li Chuhan wasn’t wearing anything underneath,”

“Really?”

“Of course,” Lin Yi said, “Do you think it’s easy to be a doctor?”

“Then if you don’t wear anything, aren’t you afraid of a reaction? How awkward would that be?”

“A place like the operating theater is covered in blood. Your head is filled with rubbish.”

“It’s a perfectly normal thought.”

“Normal my *ss.”

With that, Lin Yi slapped Liang Ruoxu’s butt.

“Let’s go. I’ve finished changing.”

Liang Ruoxu glared at Lin Yi.

“You rascal!”

After leaving the hospital, the two of them arrived at the parking lot. Lin Yi had recovered a little bit of his strength, but he was still very tired.

A high-intensity surgery was really not something an ordinary person could endure.

Even Li Chuhan and Zheng Binjiang had both collapsed after only half the session.

Soon, Liang Ruoxu brought Lin Yi home.

“Go lie down on the sofa for a while. I’ll make you something to eat after I change.”

“Do you have any pajamas I can wear?”

“Seriously, I’m a single woman. Do you think it’s normal for me to have men’s pajamas at home?” Liang Ruoxu complained.

“It’s just that I’m too tired and don’t want to leave today.” Lin Yi yawned. “I’ll sleep naked today.”

Looking at the yawning Lin Yi, Liang Ruoxu was impressed.

After his real girlfriend found out about his inappropriate behavior, he didn’t apologize. Instead, he wanted to spend the night at a third woman’s house.

In the entire Huaxia, there were not many men who could compare to him.

“Sleep here. I’ll buy you a set when I’m free.” Liang Ruoxu walked out in her nightgown which covered her butt as well, which made people think that she might be naked underneath.

That pair of slender legs, while extremely pleasing to the eye, could also cause endless imagination.

“Just make something light. Don’t go through too much trouble.”

“You’re already so tired. If I make you something light to eat, you won’t be able to recover tomorrow,” Liang Ruoxu said.

“There’s steak in the fridge. I’ll cook you some eggs too. It’ll replenish your strength.”

“Do as you see fit. Just hurry up.”

Liang Ruoxu rolled her eyes at Lin Yi. This was her home, so why did she look like a maid?

Liang Ruoxu made a small pot of porridge, fried two pieces of steak, boiled four eggs, and warmed a cup of milk before bringing them all to the coffee table.

“Eat here. Don’t move.”

“Great Beauty Liang is not bad. She knows how to care for others.”

“Stop teasing me and eat.”

Lin Yi didn’t bother with the formalities as he was famished.

“Eat slowly. No one will snatch it from you. You won’t digest it if you eat too quickly.”

Lin Yi nodded, but his eating speed didn’t decrease.

“Now that Muddy Waters has joined in, have you thought of a way to turn the tide?”

Lin Yi shook his head. “After the surgery, I was dragged here by you. I didn’t have time to think about anything else.”

“If you haven’t thought of a solution, why are you holding a press conference tomorrow?”

“I’ll think about it before I go to bed. This is the way I do things. After all, the matter is not that big of an issue, and there’s still room for a comeback.”

“Didi’s shares have already fallen to the limit, and you’re still saying that it’s not a big problem?”

“Now that things have come to this, it’s useless to be anxious.” Lin Yi said.

“Even if I can’t think of a solution, I have to hold the press conference tomorrow. I have to show my stance.”

“In such a scenario, I guess it’s best not to waste time and instead immediately offer an explanation. This way, you can stop the decline of the market.” Liang Ruoxu pondered.

“No,” Lin Yi said, “I haven’t thought of a counterattack plan yet. If I stabilize the market immediately, I’ll be the one to lose.”

“Huh?”

Liang Ruoxu did not know much about finance and did not understand the meaning behind this.

“Think about it. Zhao Mo’s strategy is to short the stocks. The more the stocks fall, the more money he earns. So as long as the market doesn’t stop falling, he won’t cash his cheque.” Lin Yi said.

“If I stabilize the market now, with Zhao Mo’s ability, he will definitely return the shares he borrowed immediately. Through this, he will earn a profit of at least 20 billion yuan. In that case, won’t I have lost?”

“Therefore, you want to create the illusion that you’re in a disadvantageous position and trick Zhao Mo into continuing to hold the money in his hand?”

“Smart.” Lin Yi said.

“After dealing with Muddy Waters, I’ll make a small move and pull the stocks back. After that, it’ll be over.”

“You want to kill Zhao Mo.”

“It’s boring to just kill him. There are still three others.” Lin Yi said with a smile.

Liang Ruoxu’s heart skipped a beat. Was he trying to kill the four young masters of Yanjing in one go?

No, it’s not good.

She had a feeling that Zhao Mo and the others were not the only ones who were in trouble.

Ring!

Lin Yi’s phone rang. It was a call from Guo Ningyue.

Lin Yi didn’t think too much about it. He turned on the loudspeaker and threw it on the coffee table.

“Brother, I’ve let you down…”

“What’s wrong? Why are you crying?”

“Didn’t something happen to your company? I was worried about you, so I told our mother about it,” Guo Ningyue said.

“And?”

“And then our mother found out about your affair.”

“I’ve chosen a cemetery for you. It’s beside a mountain and a river. It’s surrounded by the morning sun on three sides. It’s luxurious and exquisitely decorated. I’ll come over to visit when I have time.

“Brother…”

Guo Ningyue said coquettishly, “I didn’t do it on purpose. Also, Mom is about to die of anger. I heard from our father that our mother booked an afternoon flight. She must already be in Zhonghai.”

“Really? Our mother came to Zhonghai?”

“Didn’t she call you?” Guo Ningyue said, “In that case, she’s probably looking for Sister-in-Law.

“You should come too. We need to see if you like that cemetery.”

“Brother, I can’t believe you did this. I told you this in confidence. How could you leak my secret…”

Liang Ruoxu laughed until she rocked back and forth,

“Whether it’s a blessing or a curse, it has already happened. Quickly think of a solution.”

Guo Ningyue hung up, leaving Lin Yi to fiddle with his phone with a frown.

“This is not going to be easy.”
