I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 569: Hidden Danger

Liang Ruoxu looked at the screen in shock. She did not understand why her mother’s emotions would fluctuate so much.

Logically speaking, if Lin Yi got someone from Muddy Waters to explain this matter, it should settle this matter perfectly.

What was the so-called major event she was talking about?

“Mom, what happened? Tell me first.”

!!
“Let’s talk about it later. I need to call your Uncle Chen. Oh right, send me Lin Yi’s number later.”

“I’ll send it to you now.”

Shen Shuyi hung up and called Chen Shunjie.

“Sister-in-law.”

“Did Little Mi send you a contract with Pfizer and the six major pharmaceutical companies this morning?” Shen Shuyi asked.

“It was sent to me this morning. I was shocked when I read it.”

From the tone of his voice, one could tell how excited Chen Shunjie was.

Every single one of the outcomes was something that could not be negotiated by a normal human.

At the very least, he had tried for many years but to no avail.

Despite this, Lin Yi did it.

“I’ve thought about it. Although it was signed by Little Mi, she’s already told me clearly that Lin Yi was the one who got these things. I can’t let him work for nothing. I’m preparing to make him the secretary-general of the Huaxia Medical Association. Just treat it as a nominal title. It can bring him some convenience in the future.”

“Sure, but delay this matter for a while. Let’s suppress news of this first.”

“Hmm? Suppress it?”

Chen Shunjie keenly sensed that there might be something else going on.

Otherwise, Shen Shuyi would not have called him directly to tell him about this.

“Alright, I’ll tell the secretary to withdraw the documents first.”

“That’s right. Anyway, don’t say anything about this first. Don’t report any positive information about Lin Yi for the time being.”

“Got it, Sister-in-Law.”

After hanging up the phone, Shen Shuyi made an internal call. “Little Wang, come to my office for a moment.”

A few minutes later, a woman in a gray uniform skirt arrived at Shen Shuyi’s office.

The woman’s name was Wang Li, and she was the vice president of public relations and marketing at CITIC Group.

“President Shen, you were looking for me.”

“Inform the public relations department to think of a way to remove all online information about Lingyun Group. The more thorough the better.”

Wang Li looked suspicious. “President Shen, you’re mainly covering up all the news of this short-selling battle, right?”

“Yes,” Shen Shuyi said. “Do your best to minimize the impact.”

“I’ll make the arrangements now.”

Wang Li walked out of the office. Shen Shuyi crossed her fingers and placed her elbows on the desk. Her mind was spinning.

Now that the press release had ended, Feng Zhu’s appearance indicated that Zhao Mo had failed in this short-selling game.

Now, it was time for Lin Yi’s counterattack.

With Lin Jingzhan’s vengeful personality, Lin Yi wouldn’t be any different.

His subsequent actions were obvious.

He wanted to raise public opinion and subsequently raise the share price.

However, none of that mattered.

In other words, these outcomes were still within a controllable range.

Zhao Mo and the other three would suffer in silence. Huayin Group would not personally enter either.

However, the real significance of this matter was the contract Lin Yi signed with the seven pharmaceutical companies.

Especially the first one. The establishment of a world-class drug research and development center in Zhonghai would definitely drive Didi’s stock value up.

It would bring countless capital flooding into the stock market. No one knew how much it would increase by.

Pfizer and the six pharmaceutical companies would definitely not miss this news. When the time came, the impact might be like a tsunami crashing against the stock market.

However, this was not the most terrifying effect.

Lin Yi’s glorious victory and Didi’s soaring share price might have an unavoidable impact on Huayin Group and the other three families.

With his ability, it was not a problem for him to stop Huayin Group.

However, if everyone from the four families stepped in, Lin Yi wouldn’t be able to do anything. If this happened, he wouldn’t be far from death.

At the thought of this, Shen Shuyi shook her head. She had never expected such an outcome.

He had indeed gone a little overboard.

She casually opened the stock market and looked at the stock price trend.

She immediately discovered a strange phenomenon. Didi’s stock price had already reached the limit up at about 10:10.

Judging from the time, the press conference had only just begun. Feng Zhu had yet to reveal the news of his betrayal. Logically speaking, such a trend should not happen.

Even so, Shen Shuyi soon thought of the reason.

Lin Yi must have planned this move long ago.

This greatly restricted the circulation of stocks, preventing Zhao Mo and the other three from buying individual stocks and returning them to the brokerage.

If he really wanted to buy them, he could only pay a high price.

In this way, his goal would be achieved.

Shen Shuyi shook her head and muttered to herself, “These four brats were played by Lin Yi alone. He’s really good.”

With that, Shen Shuyi called Lin Yi, but no one picked up.

“What the hell is this kid doing?”

…

Lingyun Group, Qi Xianzhao’s office.

At this moment, Lin Yi, Qin Han, and the others were discussing the next step of the plan.

As for Lin Yi’s phone, it had already been switched to airplane mode so that no one would disturb him.

“Old Lin, Didi’s shares are soaring now. Even if they have the ability to buy back all the shares, the interest they will have to pay to the brokerages will not be a small number. They will definitely lose money,” Qin Han said.

“The outcome has been decided. They’ll definitely lose money, but now it comes down to how much they lose.” Lin Yi chuckled.

“Now, the three of you have swallowed all the shares in my hands, so I have sufficient cash flow. As long as the circulation of shares is kept to a minimum, I can make Zhao Mo and the others bleed money.”

“But I don’t think that’s enough,” Qin Han said. “We have to let the stocks continue to rise for it to be interesting.”

Lin Yi chuckled. “I’ve thought about it. I’ll start immediately.”

“Boss, what’s your plan?” He Yuanyuan asked.

“Create public pressure, of course,” Lin Yi said.

“I’m going to say that we’re going to cooperate with Zhonghai International Racetrack to establish Didi Sports Car project.”

“Secondly, I’m announcing the establishment of a Didi Ocean Business with Wangjiang Dock.”

“We have to use all the resources we have to establish a Didi Dining Business with the Peninsula Hotel. Whether we do it or not is another thing, we just have to brag about it first.”

“Boss, you’re really a genius. You can even think of such a plan.” He Yuanyuan said.

“I also think that we should publicize charity in a high-profile manner. This will stimulate the market and build a good business image for us. This will have a very important impact on our future development.”

“Alright, do as you see fit,” Lin Yi said.

“In short, we only have two goals. First, and most importantly, we have to reduce the liquidity of the shares as much as possible. Second, we have to raise the share price and cause the Zhao family to panic. I want them to be unable to sleep or eat in peace for this period of time!”
