Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 389 An Ominous PremonitionPresident Biden and the Secretary of State simultaneously turned their gazes toward him, their eyes filled with confusion and shock.

The Secretary of Defense continued, ”The number of monsters here far exceeds other locations; this is undoubtedly the monsters’ nest.”

”As long as we concentrate all our strength to destroy this place, perhaps this battle can come to an end.”

President Biden stared at him intensely and asked, ”How do you know?”

The Secretary of Defense took a deep breath and said, ”I’m guessing! But based on the current situation, the density and defensive strength of the monsters here far exceed other areas, so it is very likely their core location.”

”If we can destroy this place, perhaps we can solve the problem at its root.”

President Biden frowned and said worriedly, ”But what if Nuclear Weapons are ineffective against them? What if we don’t destroy them but instead provoke them? Then both you and I will be finished.”

The Secretary of Defense was about to say that no creature could withstand Nuclear Weapons, but he swallowed the words back.

In his mind, he involuntarily recalled the scene of the previous fierce battle between the Space Mecha and the Octopus Monster. The attacks unleashed by the Space Mecha were comparable to Nuclear Weapons in power, yet they did not instantly destroy the Octopus Monster; it took several rounds of intense combat to eliminate it.

Now, with such a large number of Octopus Monsters on the field, he couldn’t help but doubt that one or two nuclear bombs could cause any effective damage to the enemy.

”Then we will bring out all our nuclear bombs; our stockpile of Nuclear Weapons cannot possibly fail to wipe out these guys.”

The Secretary of Defense gritted his teeth and said firmly.

”Is Mr. President still concerned about bombing our own territory with Nuclear Weapons?”

At this point, President Biden was no longer worried about such things; he felt his own life was at stake, and to worry about that now would be overly sentimental.

President Biden sighed helplessly and said, ”Have you forgotten who stopped us from using Nuclear Weapons back then? It was the Dragon Country!”

”The Dragon Country won’t let us use Nuclear Weapons to pollute ’their’ territory.”

Hearing this, the Secretary of Defense reacted, a cold smile appearing on his lips as he said, ”In that case, let the Dragon Country solve it.”

”Since they think the territory beneath our feet belongs to them, let them deal with these damned monsters. However, just in case, I suggest we contact our missile forces and have them on standby to nuke this place. What do you think?”

President Biden gazed deeply at the hellish scene in the distance, his heart filled with conflict and struggle.

Finally, he nodded slowly, as if making an incredibly difficult decision.

The Secretary of Defense did not hesitate for a moment, decisively calling his subordinates over and ordering them to make contact with the missile forces.

However, only a short while later, a subordinate ran over with a terrified expression and reported, ”It’s bad, Secretary! The signal interference here is too strong; we cannot contact our troops.”

”What?!?”

Hearing this news, everyone was stunned, their faces expressing terror and unease.

The Secretary of Defense hurriedly took out his phone to check the signal status, only to find that there was absolutely no signal; the screen was blank, as if they had lost all contact with the outside world.

An ominous premonition surged in their hearts, as if they were being tightly throttled by the giant hand of fate, trapped in a desperate situation.

Just then, the soldiers suddenly erupted into a clamor.

Everyone turned their gaze toward them, only to see that their eyes were all focused on the distant location of the Umbrella Corporation.

The huge, pustule-like mass of flesh was shaking rapidly; the amplitude of the shaking was getting larger and the frequency faster, as if something was about to burst out from inside the flesh mass.

At this moment, the surrounding monsters were also on high alert, guarding it tightly and forming a dense defensive circle.

Seeing this, the Dragon Country immediately ordered the mecha troops to attack them from a distance.

They didn’t care what the enemy was doing; based on past combat experience, attacking the target the enemy was protecting was always the right move!

In an instant, hundreds of Particle Cannon beams rained down like raindrops toward the pustule-like mass of flesh.

The light from the Particle Cannons illuminated the gloomy sky, emitting a dazzling radiance and deafening roars.

However, to everyone’s surprise, this first wave of attacks was completely blocked by the hard armor of the Octopus Monsters.

Those Octopus Monsters used their massive bodies to form an impenetrable shield, protecting the flesh mass tightly.

After the energy of the Particle Cannons struck the armor, it only sparked, failing to cause any substantial damage to the flesh mass.

As the main force, the Space Mecha were already charging their Electromagnetic Railguns at the same time the first wave of attacks was launched.

They knew that in the face of such tenacious defense, only the powerful force of the Electromagnetic Railguns could possibly break through.

After the first wave of attacks was blocked, the second wave of even more powerful Electromagnetic Railgun attacks was launched.

”Boom! Boom! Boom!”

The power of the Electromagnetic Railguns was immense. The moment the shells struck the monsters, flesh and blood flew everywhere. The limbs of some Octopus Monsters were blown off directly, and green blood gushed out like a fountain, splashing onto the surrounding ground, hissing and corroding deep pits.

However, the number of Space Mecha was ultimately too small. Facing the numerous Octopus Monsters, they seemed somewhat overwhelmed.

The Octopus Monsters seemed determined to die, using their bodies to block the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, preferring to be blasted to death rather than let the giant flesh mass behind them be harmed.

Their behavior made everyone increasingly curious: what mysterious existence was wrapped inside that flesh mass?

Elder Qin watched the scene before him, a sense of ominous premonition in his heart.

He even wanted to call over their strongest combat force, the Aerospace Carrier, to launch a saturation attack on that flesh mass.

However, because the specific situation of the enemy was unclear, rashly sending their strongest combat force over, only for it to be destroyed if the enemy found a weakness, would be too great a loss!

Under these circumstances, for the sake of caution, it was better to observe a little longer and find the best opportunity to launch a fatal strike.

Just as the Space Mecha troops were preparing to launch the second round of Electromagnetic Railgun bombardment, the pustule-like flesh mass, without warning!

With a ”Boom”... it exploded!

On that battlefield shrouded in darkness and fear, the Umbrella Corporation area was like a demon’s lair, exuding a suffocating aura of death.

The explosion of the flesh mass was like the tolling of a doomsday bell. In an instant, a thick, foul-smelling mucus erupted like a surging black tide.

The mucus traced an eerie arc in the air and landed precisely on the face of a US Soldier.

The poor soldier didn’t even have time to make another sound; like a demon’s tentacle, the mucus began to ravage him mercilessly the moment it touched his skin.

The ”hissing” sound of corrosion instantly rang out, as if Death were whispering. His face began to fester at a speed visible to the naked eye, his flesh being rapidly eroded. A painful scream erupted from his mouth, a sound that pierced through the clamor of the battlefield, filled with endless despair and fear.

However, in this chaotic and terrifying moment, everyone’s gaze was deeply drawn to the exploded flesh mass, as if they were under a spell, unable to spare any attention for the soldier’s miserable state.

Everyone’s eyes were tightly locked on the spot where the flesh mass had exploded, and they saw a terrifying monster, never seen before, slowly appear.
