Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 365 The White Elephant is GoneWhite Elephant.

The President was sitting upright in the magnificent palace, surrounded by a group of officials with nervous expressions, who were taking turns reporting the situation in various regions to him.

”Reporting Mr. President, countries are already organizing troops to begin defensive deployments. Shouldn’t we also properly respond to this?”

An official said with a face full of worry, and other officials nodded in agreement. After all, news of monsters running rampant outside had already spread like wildfire!

Everyone knew clearly in their hearts that this was no small matter and that action must be taken.

Yet, unexpectedly, the President was disdainful of this, even wearing a smug smile on his face as he said slowly:

”Everyone, isn’t this a heaven-sent opportunity?”

His eyes revealed a sense of coldness and ruthlessness as he continued:

”We have many low-class people in our country. Letting more of them die can relieve our social pressure. What a great opportunity, why the rush?”

He paused, scanned the officials present, and continued:

”First, assemble all troops to the capital. Once those low-class people are mostly dead, it will not be too late for us to organize forces to eliminate the monsters.”

As soon as these words left the President’s mouth, the palace instantly fell into a brief silence!

The officials looked at each other, shocked by the President’s cold and ruthless words, yet they dared not say anything more.

However, just at this moment, a crisis suddenly emerged!

”Reporting Mr. President, a large number of monsters have appeared in our Southern Sea Area!”

An official in charge of intelligence shouted anxiously, their voice even cracking!

”Those monsters can become stronger by devouring our low-class people!”

”And... and some are already impervious to blades and guns!”

Upon hearing this, the President was stunned for a moment, subconsciously thinking the official was deliberately trying to scare him, and said with a look of disbelief: ”How can there be monsters impervious to blades and guns? Do not spread alarmist talk here!”

Seeing that he did not believe it, the subordinate could not care about much else and hurriedly showed him the situation of the disaster in the Southern Sea Area via a live stream!

He wanted the President to see the terrifying scene with his own eyes so that he could quickly make countermeasures.

As soon as the image appeared, everyone present was stunned.

In the footage, monsters were squirming everywhere. Those monsters were similar in form, and without exception, they all exuded a chilling hideousness.

Crowds were fleeing frantically on the streets, but the tentacles of those monsters were like the scythes of death, ruthlessly piercing through people’s bodies. The next second, the flesh and blood of the people touched by them were instantly sucked dry!

In the blink of an eye, they turned into dried-up human husks. The scene was like a living hell.

This was a major city with millions of people; it was usually quite dense, but at this moment, it seemed to have become a paradise for the monsters. They shuttled wantonly through the crowd, devouring frantically, absorbing humans, and turning humans into nutrients for their own bodies!

And they were tireless, looking greedy as if they could never get enough to eat.

At first, these monsters could only devour one person at a time, but as they devoured more and more humans, their bodies became increasingly huge, and their killing ability multiplied.

Any human who appeared in front of these monsters could not escape their long tentacles; they were either absorbed into human husks or swallowed whole into their bloody maws, with absolutely no possibility of escape.

After receiving the news, the troops rushed over, but it was ultimately a bit too late. By the time they arrived, the monsters had already gained momentum and become incredibly powerful.

The soldiers raised their guns and shot desperately at the monsters, but the bullets hitting their bodies were like tickling them. They all drilled into their thick, steel-like bodies, only to be bounced back, causing absolutely no damage to them.

Even when heavy artillery shells were used to bombard the monsters, although they could smash their huge bodies into pieces, as long as there was no way to eliminate them instantly, they could quickly recover to their original state by absorbing the surrounding humans and continue their rampage!

The scene left the soldiers in utter despair.

And as the people in this city were mostly absorbed, the troops who came to rescue became the new targets of the monsters.

The monsters first curled up their bodies, then suddenly expanded rapidly. The meat lumps on their bodies rained down, densely falling upon the humans.

Those meat lumps seemed to have a life of their own. Once they came into contact with the soldiers’ bodies, they frantically burrowed into them. Before long, they controlled the soldiers’ bodies, turning them into puppets of the monsters.

These controlled soldiers either walked toward the monsters with dull expressions, voluntarily being absorbed, or slaughtered each other with the humans who had not yet been controlled. The whole scene was chaotic to the extreme, with screams and roars intertwined, making one’s hair stand on end.

Just like that, the 100,000-strong army was easily dismantled under the monsters’ strange and powerful attacks, without any ability to fight back.

At this moment, the screen suddenly shook violently. It seemed the live streamer recording all this had encountered danger. Immediately after, the screen changed, and a super monster hundreds of meters high appeared. Just standing there, the monster was like a small mountain, blocking out the sky and sun, exuding a suffocating and terrifying aura.

The next second, the screen went black with a ”pop”; clearly, the live streaming equipment had been destroyed.

Now, the White Elephant top brass in the conference room were all dumbfounded, eyes wide open, faces full of horror!

The calm and composed demeanor from before had long since vanished without a trace, replaced by deep fear and panic.

The President no longer had his previous calm and composed appearance!

His voice trembled violently as he shouted stutteringly:

”Quick! Quickly send troops to stop them!”

However, the White Elephant President clearly had not yet realized what kind of desperate situation White Elephant Country was facing.

Not long after, bad news arrived one after another. Monsters appeared in the Eastern region, Western region, Northern region, and even the capital!

These monsters were like demons pouring out of hell, slaughtering people frantically everywhere. Every time they devoured a person, their bodies would become bigger and stronger. Not a single troop could stop the monsters’ devouring process.

Even when White Elephant Country finally brought out their most powerful thermal weapons and fired desperately at the monsters, they still could not stop the monsters’ pace of becoming more numerous and stronger. Those monsters seemed to be immortal; no matter how they were hit, they could not be killed, unless all the citizens of White Elephant Country were completely wiped out—but how could that be done?

The President was completely dumbfounded. He sat blankly in his chair, his eyes hollow, his face as pale as paper, knowing clearly in his heart that there was no way to save the situation now.

Finally, in despair, the capital was also completely breached by the monsters and fell. The entire White Elephant Country was plunged into darkness and bloodshed!

This nation, which once had its own glory and history, was thus destroyed!
