Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 353 The Real Power HolderCommander Liu Chengzhi’s off-the-cuff idea of ”nuking the Eagle” was certainly radical enough!

It was truly a hawkish style; the idea was not conservative in the slightest!

One could even say it was somewhat impulsive and irrational.

After all, if such extreme measures were really taken, the Eagle wouldn’t just sit idly by and wait for death; it would inevitably fight back!

When the time came, nuclear bombs would fly across the sky, and the entire Blue Planet would likely be plunged into an irredeemable abyss!

A global reset would no longer be alarmist talk; it would be a catastrophe for all of humanity.

Elder Qin was relatively much calmer. Knowing that this matter was of great importance and could not be acted upon rashly, he turned his gaze toward Su Chen, asking for his thoughts in a tone that was gentle yet carried a sense of gravity!

Was it really necessary to consider taking such an extreme approach as ”nuking” to deal with the crazy actions on the Eagle’s side?

Su Chen frowned slightly, pondered for a moment, then shook his head and said:

”I don’t think it has reached that point yet!”

”As it stands, the Eagle’s monster creation plan is still in the simulation experiment stage. It should still take some time before they can actually create those terrifying monsters capable of harming all of humanity.”

”So, during this period, we can only try to find ways to pressure the Eagle, forcing them to voluntarily stop the research on monsters. This might avoid the situation from deteriorating further.”

”However, there are some issues!”

Su Chen changed the subject, a hint of worry appearing on his face.

”What issues?”

Elder Qin asked hurriedly, his eyes full of concern.

Su Chen pointed to the screen and said with a solemn expression:

”This video cannot be made public!”

Upon hearing this, Elder Qin instantly understood the reason.

After all, this video came from the Spirit Realm, and the fact that the Artificial Intelligence within the Spirit Realm could monitor the entire world was a highly classified secret kept by the Dragon Kingdom’s top leadership.

Once leaked, it would be almost impossible for the Dragon Kingdom to use the unique advantage of the Spirit Realm to quietly harvest scientific and technological secrets from around the world in the future!

The loss would be too great.

After pondering for a moment, Elder Qin said slowly:

”It’s fine. Even without the video, it doesn’t mean we can’t pressure the Eagle. It’s just hard to say what the specific effect will be.”

Elder Qin paused for a moment, as if having made up his mind, and continued:

”We can try other methods; we can’t just sit by and watch them continue to mess around.”

Afterwards, Elder Qin and his group did not dare to delay and hurried back to convene an emergency meeting!

The atmosphere in the conference room was serious and tense. Everyone sat around, discussing one after another, racing against time to figure out how to pressure the Eagle and make them willingly abandon that extremely dangerous monster experiment.

After a heated discussion and weighing the pros and cons, they finally decided to expose the matter through the power of the media, using the pressure of global public opinion to force the Eagle to submit.

On the Blue Planet, this was originally a very ordinary day!

People all over the world were immersed in the convenience and joy brought by the various technological revolutions from the Dragon Kingdom, and life seemed calm and beautiful.

But at this moment, the Dragon Kingdom suddenly launched a heavy blow, widely disseminating a statement across the world through major online media.

”Recently, our relevant departments have learned that a company in the Eagle named Umbrella Corporation is conducting a monster manufacturing experiment that is extremely unfriendly to human civilization. Here, we urge the Eagle to conduct a serious investigation into this company, prevent the situation from spiraling out of control, and avoid causing a devastating blow to human civilization!”

Once this statement was published, it was like dropping a bombshell into a calm lake, instantly causing an uproar globally.

After learning this news, the public of various countries was shocked beyond measure.

”What? The Eagle is manufacturing monsters? Is this because they realized they can’t compete with the Dragon Kingdom and started taking crooked paths?”

”Speaking of which, what kind of monsters are they? Are there any pictures? I feel like the world is becoming more and more sci-fi. I hope I won’t die before I’m ninety!”

”If the world is really going to be destroyed, please notify me in advance, okay? I at least need to get a foot bath and call two technicians!”

Of course, some people were skeptical; after all, there was no evidence.

”There aren’t even any videos or pictures. What the Dragon Kingdom said might not be true; maybe they are just planning to deliberately cause trouble for the Eagle!”

”The Dragon Kingdom is powerful now; are they preparing to take action against the Eagle? But this reason is too fake!”

”I feel the same way. Let’s see how the Eagle reacts!”

...

Far away in the Eagle, the President and a group of high-level officials were stunned after hearing the Dragon Kingdom’s statement, and then they actually felt that this was simply ridiculous!

”The Dragon Kingdom actually suspects that we are manufacturing monsters. This is absolutely the most ridiculous and funny accusation I have ever heard in my life!”

”Exactly. If we could manufacture monsters, would we still be suppressed by the Dragon Kingdom?”

The group of high-level officials burst into laughter, all feeling that the Dragon Kingdom’s statement was nonsense and not taking it seriously at all.

At this moment, the Secretary of State leaned forward, looked at the President, and asked:

”Mr. President, how should we respond to this baseless accusation from the Dragon Kingdom?”

”How about we conduct a simple investigation into that Umbrella Corporation, show the innocent side of the company, and strike back hard at the Dragon Kingdom’s accusation? What do you think?”

”I believe we can definitely slap the Dragon Kingdom in the face.”

The President heard this and thought it was a good idea. Just as he was about to nod in agreement, a sudden, urgent phone ringtone sounded.

The President frowned slightly, wondering who would be calling at this time. He picked up the phone impatiently, but when he heard the voice on the other end, his expression instantly became serious, and he nodded repeatedly, saying:

”Okay! I understand!”

After hanging up the phone, the President said to everyone with a solemn expression:

”Mr. L does not want us to investigate the Umbrella Corporation!”

”The Umbrella Corporation is an industry under their family, and the research being conducted has a very high level of secrecy.”

”In their words, the Dragon Kingdom hopes to use our hands to disclose these secrets, and we must not fall into their trap.”

When everyone heard it was Mr. L, their expressions instantly became serious!

They all knew very well that Mr. L and the family behind him were the true power holders of the Eagle. This family, which had been deeply rooted there since the founding of the Eagle, had a profound foundation and extraordinary power, and they were not to be easily provoked.

The Secretary of State looked troubled and asked again:

”Then how should we respond to the Dragon Kingdom?”

The President sneered, a flash of cunning in his eyes, and said:

”If we really investigate, that would be falling into their trap!”

”Let’s just muddle through, pretend nothing happened, and don’t pay too much attention to them!!”
