Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 387 There is no possibility of retreating”Boom! Boom! Boom!” The sound of explosions pierced through the fog, resonating across the entire area.

Because the explosions were exceptionally violent, one could even see multicolored lights blooming; that light illuminated the entire battlefield, making it temporarily impossible to see the situation inside.

Just when everyone thought the Octopus Monster was about to be destroyed by this attack, they were stunned to discover that as the smoke cleared, the monster was still standing there straight, as if the previous attacks were merely tickling it, causing it no substantial damage at all.

Seeing this scene, everyone panicked completely. Their faces were filled with terror and confusion, and they kept muttering, ”What on earth is this monster? How can it not be killed even by this?”

”The explosion just now was equivalent to a small nuclear bomb, right? This guy’s shell is just too hard!”

”Our Electromagnetic Railgun has been destroyed. Who can tell me what we should do now?”

Elder Qin also looked at Su Chen beside him with some concern and asked, ”Little Chen, what do you think? How is this thing as hard as our Space Mecha? Is this the strength a living creature should have?”

Su Chen narrowed his eyes slightly, but his eyes were filled with irrepressible ecstasy.

It is said that flesh is weak and machines ascend, but at this moment, Su Chen felt that flesh as an auxiliary, machines as bones—the fusion of both is the true path.

Could this be the pinnacle of biotechnology!!!!

Various inspirations regarding the fusion of biology and machines constantly emerged in his mind, as if he saw a brand-new technological field slowly opening up before his eyes.

Elder Qin noticed that Su Chen was staring blankly, and immediately asked, ”What’s wrong, Little Chen?”

Su Chen finally came back to his senses and said somewhat embarrassedly, ”Oh! Elder Qin, what did you just say?”

Elder Qin repeated somewhat worriedly, ”This monster doesn’t look simple! Can we defeat it?”

Su Chen thought for a moment, then said confidently, ”The combat effectiveness of the Space Mecha should not be inferior to those monsters.”

As his voice fell, the Space Mecha immediately took action!

The Octopus Monster seemed to realize how troublesome the Space Mecha were, and subsequently began to respond with full force.

Lasers blasted from its eyes, attempting to attack the Space Mecha; however, relying on their ultra-high mobility and advanced intelligent navigation systems, the Space Mecha easily dodged them.

Sometimes, when they really couldn’t dodge, they would directly withstand it; their powerful defense systems were also able to resist the laser attacks without having their defenses broken.

The Space Mecha circled the monster, the muzzles of the small naval guns equipped on their backs slowly appeared, and then they precisely aimed at the Octopus Monster’s forehead.

A dozen Space Mecha aimed at the same spot simultaneously, then began to charge up. As energy continuously gathered, the light of the naval guns grew brighter and brighter. When the charging reached one hundred percent, a dozen shells were fired simultaneously.

Although they were shells from small naval guns, their power was not as simple as a small nuclear bomb; especially the combined power of over a dozen shells, it already exceeded an ordinary nuclear bomb.

They cut through the sky at an extremely fast speed, accurately hitting an octopus head!

Accompanied by a huge explosion, the octopus head was blown open instantly, flesh and tissue fragments splattered everywhere, and for a moment, flesh and blood flew everywhere!

Seeing this scene, everyone cheered in unison, thinking they had finally taken down the Octopus Monster.

However, no one expected that the monster did not fall down just like that!

Its other two heads were affected by the explosion and shattered, but it was still continuously firing lasers, like an enraged demon, retaliating crazily.

When it realized that its attack methods were ineffective against the Space Mecha, it turned its target to the US Soldiers and the Individual Mecha, carrying out crazy slaughter.

A dozen Individual Mecha were instantly destroyed under the laser attacks, turning into a pile of scrap metal, and tens of thousands of people also died under these lasers; the originally heavy casualties became even more unimaginable.

The Space Mecha unit here, seeing the monster so tenacious, dared not have the slightest slack and immediately recharged again.

They didn’t expect this monster to be so stubborn; having one head blown off, it was still continuously slaughtering.

Soon, the Space Mecha here finished recharging again!

Then, without hesitation, they launched an attack again, completely eliminating the Octopus Monster’s second and third heads!

After all three heads were eliminated, the Octopus Monster finally fell helplessly from the sky like a collapsed ruin, turning into a pool of flesh.

This battle was fought with extreme difficulty, and both sides paid a heavy price.

Even with the Space Mecha present, they still lost tens of thousands of US Soldiers and over a dozen Individual Mecha!

Elder Qin looked at Su Chen, smiled bitterly helplessly, and said, ”Little Chen, I’m afraid the monster cannot be studied. The combat situation is too critical; we couldn’t care about that much. If we were even a little bit late, the monster would definitely have killed more people.”

Su Chen also understood Elder Qin’s helplessness. He knew that in such an emergency, the primary task was to protect lives and ensure victory.

He said to Elder Qin, ”Just help me get some body tissue samples!”

Upon hearing this, Elder Qin immediately had people quickly obtain some of the monster’s body samples for Su Chen.

Su Chen carefully took the samples, and in his heart, he had already begun to calculate how to conduct research on these samples.

On the US side.

President Biden looked at the devastated battlefield, his heart deeply shaken by the battle just now!

Especially his troops conducting the counterattack: thirty thousand dead, over a hundred thousand injured!

Basically everyone had injuries, whether major or minor!

Even his face had been scratched by a stone, with a trace of blood flowing out.

His eyes were filled with pain and despair. He had originally thought that with the aid of the Dragon Kingdom, the counterattack would proceed smoothly, but he hadn’t expected to encounter such a powerful monster, causing them heavy losses.

After the troops finished regrouping, the Secretary of Defense looked at President Biden, just watching quietly, waiting for him to issue the next order.

President Biden’s mood at this moment was very complex; he once wanted to give up the idea of counterattacking.

This monster was too fierce, so fierce that it made him feel terrified.

And the closer they got to the Umbrella Corporation, the more dangerous he felt it was, as if there was a huge black hole ahead, constantly devouring their courage and hope.

He felt that if they went there, they would never return, but if they didn’t continue the counterattack, what else could they do?

Now they could still rely on the power of the Dragon Kingdom; if they gave up the idea of counterattacking, he dared to believe that in the next second, the Dragon Kingdom would withdraw those mecha.

By then, they could only wait for the monsters to continue devouring them, and at that time, it would definitely be even more desperate.

President Biden knew that there was no possibility of retreat for him anymore. He gritted his teeth, waved his hand, and ordered to continue the advance.

The troops bypassed The White House, passed through building after building, and moved forward with difficulty in the ruins.

When their field of vision opened up again, the building of the Umbrella Corporation was already close at hand.

However, they could not continue moving forward.

Just because ahead! It was like hell! Hundreds upon thousands of Octopus Monsters were wandering around like ghosts!
