Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 360 The ceremony is about to begin!”Little Chen, you’ve arrived! I was just about to go looking for you! Come over quickly!”

Upon seeing Su Chen, Elder Qin hurriedly greeted him and brought him over to sit down.

On the table in front of them lay a thick stack of documents. These documents had been urgently sent over by the intelligence department just minutes ago. During this period, they had been closely monitoring the movements of the Eagle.

Su Chen glanced casually at the documents, immediately understanding what Elder Qin wanted to say, and spoke first:

”Elder Qin, I have come precisely for this matter.”

”The Eagle has been attacked by monsters. Our worst fears have come to pass, and the situation has become tricky.”

Upon hearing this, Elder Qin knew that Su Chen had indeed come for this, and he quickly nodded, saying:

”Fortunately, we prepared for the worst in advance. We have already produced enough super weapons to deal with this disaster that might descend upon our territory, so we won’t be too passive.”

Su Chen listened and nodded along, saying with a serious face:

”As things stand, we must respond; we cannot afford the slightest slack.”

Elder Qin patted his chest and said:

”Rest assured, I have already arranged everything according to the original plan.”

”At present, the temporary command post has been built, and our country has entered a Level 1 combat readiness state!”

”The Aerospace Carrier and all combat forces have basically been recalled from Mars for the sake of defending the country.”

As they spoke, the void outside Elder Qin’s office suddenly began to tremble, as if a giant stone had been thrown into a calm lake, causing ripples to spread layer by layer.

Immediately after, as a huge black hole slowly appeared, the incomparably massive Aerospace Carrier slowly sailed out from within it, returning steadily to the capital. The spectacular scene was breathtaking.

Subsequently, various small void distortions appeared one after another in the sky. Looking closely, it turned out to be Space Mechas equipped with Space Warp Engines. Like shining meteors, they streaked across the sky, gathering towards their predetermined locations.

Besides them, all military regions also took action. Troops began to mobilize urgently. Two hundred thousand Individual Mechas were dispersed to various military regions, carrying out guard duties in an orderly manner. They were the main combat force for this upcoming war, shouldering the heavy responsibility of defending the territory and resisting the monster invasion.

Having been warned by Su Chen previously, the authorities knew well that the monsters created by the Eagle were quite powerful and could not be underestimated. Therefore, they were taking this battle, which could break out at any moment, very seriously and dared not be the least bit careless.

Now, they were even going all out, mass-producing the various super weapons that Su Chen had developed previously!

Take Individual Combat Mechas, for example; production had increased from the previous one thousand units per day to five thousand units per day!

The production momentum was as if electricity and energy were free; they were just pushing hard to produce them.

Of course, doing so came at a price, which was that domestic resources were shrinking crazily.

To outsiders, this might be seen as overdrawing the Dragon Country’s development potential, as once these domestic resources were exhausted, future development would seem to rely solely on other countries.

However, little did they know that the Dragon Country had already begun resource exploration work in the universe. Even if domestic resources were used up, there were still the resources of the entire galaxy available for extraction.

To be precise, the Dragon Country had long dispatched multiple specialized teams to begin resource extraction work. With the powerful technical support of the Space Warp Engine, a steady stream of resources was transported to the Dragon Country from other planets every day. There was no need to worry about resources running out; there were simply more resources than could ever be used.

However, because the monsters created by the Eagle were still too mysterious to everyone, Elder Qin was still very worried. After all, the unknown was the most terrifying, and no one knew what terrible abilities those monsters were still hiding.

Elder Qin looked at Su Chen and asked:

”Little Chen, I heard that the Security Bureau has already obtained blood research samples from the Eagle?”

Su Chen nodded and said:

”That’s right! I didn’t expect the Security Bureau’s execution to be so strong. I have already started researching that blood sample, trying to find the monsters’ weaknesses. If I can find them, we will be more confident in dealing with them.”

Upon hearing this, the worry in Elder Qin’s heart dissipated quite a bit, and he praised with a smile:

”Your execution is not bad either, kid. I hope you can help us find the monsters’ weaknesses as soon as possible; this might be the key to us eliminating those monsters in the future.”

Elder Qin knew very well that the heavy responsibility of human survival now largely fell on the shoulders of Su Chen, a young man who was only in his twenties. He felt both gratified and somewhat worried. He pondered for two seconds and then added with deep concern:

”Go ahead and do it with confidence; if any problems arise, I’ll take the blame for you!”

Su Chen knew that Elder Qin wanted to share the heavy pressure on his shoulders. He felt a wave of emotion and nodded heavily!

After chatting about some more details regarding defense, Su Chen bid farewell to Elder Qin and turned to dive into the Laboratory!

He began to devote himself wholeheartedly to the research on the monster blood samples.

Su Chen wasn’t sure if he could actually find the monsters’ weaknesses, but relying on current genetic technology, combined with his own professional knowledge and experience, perhaps he could give it a try.

In addition, the R&D work for the Genetic Enhancement Serum 3.0 had also reached a critical node. Su Chen didn’t intend to give up on it either; he decided to give it another go, working on both fronts to strive for breakthroughs in both areas, which would also add more chances of winning in dealing with this crisis.

...On the other side, in the Umbrella Laboratory, a black shadow was reflected on the pristine white wall of the Laboratory, appearing exceptionally eerie.

The figure had a huge body, with more than a dozen tentacles slowly drifting in the air, looking extremely hideous and terrifying.

Its arm was slowly counting some dark red blood samples, and while counting, it was mumbling to itself.

”Strange... I remember there should have been about seventy bottles of blood samples left before. How come there are only sixty-seven bottles left now?”

”Could it be that I remembered wrong?”

Its ugly brows furrowed slightly, and a look of confusion appeared on its face!

However, soon, as if comforting itself, it grinned with its big, fang-filled mouth and laughed:

”Scaring myself!”

”I must have remembered wrong!”

”Besides, the experiment is already over. These blood samples don’t have much use anymore and have lost their meaning of existence.”

As it spoke, its several tentacles drifted flexibly, picking up all the remaining blood samples at once, and then it carelessly threw them into the trash can!

The ”clang” sound was exceptionally harsh in the silent Laboratory.

At this moment, another black shadow appeared outside, urging in a hurried tone:

”Hurry up, the ceremony is about to begin!”
