Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 359 The Monster Has Gone Out of Control!President Biden seemed to completely ignore the civilians who had died so miserably. His gaze was fixed intently on the ruins, watching as The White House, a symbol of the USA, was destroyed. His heart ached as if it were bleeding. He muttered to himself, unsure whether he was lamenting the loss of The White House or worrying about the unknown fate that the USA would soon face.

President Biden’s face was gloomy. His hands trembled slightly as he took out his phone and quickly dialed a number, his eyes revealing a hint of determination and anger.

Seeing this, the Secretary of State hurriedly stepped forward, asking with a puzzled expression who he was calling.

President Biden was expressionless and said dully:

”I want to know if Mr. L is behind this!”

”We have always worked diligently for him, yet he wants to destroy us like this!”

The call was answered quickly. From the other end came Mr. L’s voice, which remained steady but carried an inscrutable undertone:

”President Biden, how are you?”

”Are you okay!”

”I saw that The White House was bombed. Was it you who gave the order?”

President Biden ignored Mr. L’s seemingly caring words and directly questioned him:

”Mr. L, I want to know, does this sudden disaster have anything to do with you?”

Mr. L was silent for a second, and then, his slightly mocking laughter rang out from the other end:

”President Biden, do you know what you are saying?”

”What do those monsters have to do with me?”

President Biden’s face turned paper-white in an instant, and his lips trembled slightly. Without a word, he pressed the hang-up button, his eyes filled with terror and anger, as he muttered to himself:

”I didn’t say the disaster was those monsters. Mr. L, something is wrong!”

At this moment, President Biden’s heart was frozen to the core. He never expected that the powerful figure behind the USA, who had always been high and mighty and in control of everything, would treat his country so brutally!

He truly could not understand why this was happening.

His mind was in chaos, filled with helplessness and confusion.

The Secretary of State also realized the severity of the situation at this moment and asked President Biden anxiously:

”Mr. President, what should we do now?”

The Secretary of Defense looked serious and said in a grave tone:

”In the current situation, we can only do our best to prevent the disaster from worsening!”

After saying this, he added another sentence, looking at President Biden with burning eyes, and said:

”While we still have power in our hands, we must act immediately!”

President Biden and the Secretary of Defense locked eyes. About two seconds later, President Biden seemed to have finally made up his mind and knew what he had to do. He immediately stood up abruptly and ordered loudly:

”Head to The Pentagon!”

The Pentagon was the office building for the USA’s Department of Defense and the highest military command department of the USA. It gathered the core strength and resources of the USA’s military. Now, facing such a huge crisis, it was only by relying on the power there that it might be possible to cope with it.

Currently, the monsters were mainly concentrated in the area of The White House. Judging from previous engagements, those monsters did not appear to be indestructible. As long as they could unleash powerful firepower in an instant to turn them into ashes, it seemed possible to prevent their resurgence.

But this was not what worried President Biden the most. What he feared most was the way those monsters appeared; they appeared suddenly, almost without any warning.

It was possible that Mr. L had planned this in advance. If that were the case, the situation might be relatively controllable! But if those monsters possessed a more terrifying ability, such as being able to suddenly resurrect from an intact person, then that would be disastrous!

By then, no one would be able to stop these monsters. Whether it was the internal army or the external defense lines, they could be breached in an instant, and the entire USA would fall into an irredeemable situation.

Thinking of this, President Biden couldn’t help but silently pray to God to protect this nation, which had a history of only a few hundred years, hoping it could escape this catastrophe.

Subsequently, President Biden and his party hurried to The Pentagon. In the Command Center, he ordered with a grave expression: ”Initiate a Level 1 combat readiness state nationwide!”

Once the order was issued, the entire USA immediately went into action.

Soon, the naval, land, and air forces began to assemble rapidly. Those top-tier units, like rivers flowing into the sea, all rushed toward The Pentagon!

All kinds of advanced weapons and equipment were unveiled!

For a time, the entire USA was shrouded in a tense and murderous atmosphere.

The fleet’s cannons also adjusted their angles to aim at the areas near The Pentagon for defensive support, standing by in battle formation, ready to deal with the monster army that might charge over at any moment.

And those monsters seemed to have sensed the actions of the USA, and began to charge toward The Pentagon with a specific target.

The destructive bombing of The White House did not completely eliminate these monsters. There were still some monsters that, relying on the massive amount of nutrients they absorbed from civilians during the bombing, became increasingly huge. They gathered together, massive and mighty, like an army of monsters from hell, baring their fangs and brandishing their claws as they swarmed toward The Pentagon. The scene was like the arrival of the end of the world.

The two sides soon engaged in fire. For a time, air support fighter jets roared past, continuously dropping bombs on the monster swarm!

The fleet’s artillery also roared, and shells smashed into the monster army like raindrops!

Various heavy weapons on the ground were not to be outdone, spitting out tongues of fire and pouring out firepower.

As expected of the former leader of the Blue Planet, after this barrage of firepower, the offensive of the monster army was finally held back outside The Pentagon, unable to advance any further for the time being, and the two sides fell into a stalemate.

Meanwhile, the news of such a major incident in the USA spread like wildfire across the entire Blue Planet!

The people of the Blue Planet were overwhelmed by the succession of news.

Before they had time to fully digest the news about the USA researching monsters, they immediately heard the news that the USA was being invaded by monsters, and everyone was shocked beyond measure.

Countries were originally thinking about how to make the USA stop its extremely dangerous monster research, but they didn’t expect that the monsters in the USA would directly lose control!

Moreover, the way these monsters appeared was very strange; many of them mutated directly from humans without any warning, which was truly terrifying.

Countries with sparse populations and large land areas were slightly better off, as they at least had enough territory to set up buffer zones to deal with the monsters. But for densely populated countries, facing this situation, it was really difficult to carry out effective defense. Once the monsters invaded, the consequences would be unimaginable.

All countries began to worry about the Dragon Kingdom. After all, the Dragon Kingdom was now the new leader of the Blue Planet. If the Dragon Kingdom were also breached by these monsters, then the fate of the entire Blue Planet would be truly worrying, and the consequences would be unimaginable.

However, they were clearly overthinking it.

From the moment they discovered that the USA was researching monsters, the Dragon Kingdom had already made the worst-case preparations.

After all, the USA had always been in conflict of interest with the Dragon Kingdom, and these monsters were very likely used by the other side to deal with them. The Dragon Kingdom did not expect the USA to really give up monster research obediently, so from the very beginning, they had taken precautions and made comprehensive preparations.

On this side, the moment he discovered the anomaly in the USA, Su Chen hurried to Elder Qin’s office.
