Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 364 Is this kid a commander now?At the thought that it might be people from above, a sense of foreboding welled up in the hearts of Father Su, Mother Su, and Su Youwan!

Their faces instantly turned deathly pale!

Mother Su and Su Youwan’s eyes turned red instantly, tears welling up. Father Su also felt as if all the strength had been drained from his body; his face was pale as paper, his legs felt weak, and he was terrified!

Could it be...

Little Chen...

Little Chen, my son!

Father Su suppressed the fear in his heart, walked slowly to the door, and tremblingly looked outside through the peephole!

Upon looking, he saw a few men in military uniforms, and his heart immediately leaped into his throat!

”It is! It’s people from above!”

Now, Father Su was even more panicked, his whole body trembling uncontrollably, tears almost streaming down, thinking to himself: ”Could it be... that Little Chen really...”

Immediately after, he saw through the peephole that the soldier in the middle was holding a box in his arms!

The size of the box was just right to hold an urn!

At this, Father Su felt his head buzz, and his legs nearly gave way, causing him to collapse to his knees!

He could no longer hold back. He hurriedly opened the door, not caring about manners. Before the soldiers outside could even ask anything, Father Su lunged forward, hugged the box, and burst into loud sobs:

”Little Chen! My son!”

”How could you sacrifice your life for the country! You are so cruel, leaving us to bury our own child!”

”No, your father doesn’t blame you. Since ancient times, one cannot have both loyalty and filial piety. You sacrificed yourself for the country, and I am proud, but this pain in my heart—why can’t I stop it!”

As he spoke, he grabbed the hand of the leading soldier, his voice hoarse, and asked with tears streaming down his face:

”Young man, did my son Little Chen die for a worthy cause?”

The mother and daughter behind him heard Father Su’s words and could no longer hold back; they were about to burst into loud wails!

The scene was incredibly sorrowful.

However, this scene left the arriving soldiers completely bewildered. They hurriedly waved their hands to explain:

”No! No!”

”Uncle, Auntie, please stop crying! It’s a misunderstanding! A huge misunderstanding! We are here to deliver something to you!”

”Chief Su is doing just fine, he’s okay!”

As soon as these words were spoken, Father Su, Mother Su, and Su Youwan all looked up, bewildered. Now it was their turn to be confused.

Mother Su reacted the fastest. She stood up immediately, not caring about her appearance, grabbed Father Su, and shoved him aside. Then, she hurriedly smoothed out her messy hair and said with an embarrassed face:

”I’m sorry, young soldier. We’ve been too worried these past two days. Seeing you all arrive like this, we overthought things.”

”You’re saying my son Su Chen is okay, right?”

Seeing this, the young soldier smiled and said:

”He’s fine! He’s fine! Our Chief is doing very well! We came here this time just to deliver something to you!”

Mother Su glanced at the box in the soldier’s hand and said enthusiastically:

”Oh! Come on in!”

”Su Youwan, quickly pour some water for these three brothers!”

At this moment, Father Su also snapped out of the panic and sorrow. He felt both ashamed and annoyed, secretly blaming himself for overthinking and causing such a huge misunderstanding!

However, now that he knew his son was okay, he was happier than anyone else and didn’t care about anything else.

Father Su hurriedly asked:

”Young comrade, what’s inside this box? Did my son ask you to bring it?”

A soldier answered with a smile: ”Yes, Uncle!”

As he spoke, he opened the box, then carefully took out three black suitcases from inside and placed them one by one on the table, arranging them neatly.

Father Su was stunned, filled with confusion. He didn’t understand what his son meant by sending them three suitcases. What kind of treasure was inside?

A soldier noticed Father Su’s confusion and quickly explained:

”Uncle, these are cases for Mecha Suits. They have been programmed. Once a monster or other danger approaches, these three cases can automatically transform into mecha to protect you!”

”Individual Mecha you should have seen on TV, right? Those are the very powerful mecha.”

Hearing this, Su Chen’s family felt extremely surprised. The Individual Combat Mecha of the Dragon Kingdom were national treasures; who didn’t know about them?

Moreover, to reassure the public, the authorities had previously announced that every county would have at least one hundred Individual Combat Mecha for protection.

But unexpectedly, their family now had three!

Father Su was dumbfounded for a moment. He was extremely surprised—what was going on?

A county with hundreds of thousands of people was only equipped with about a hundred Individual Mecha. Good heavens, his family alone had three, and it was his own brat who had arranged it. An ordinary person definitely couldn’t have managed that.

Just then, he suddenly realized that these soldiers were calling his brat Chief Su...

The title of Chief is not something just anyone can be called!

In that case... Father Su felt a surge of excitement, thinking:

”My ancestors must have blessed us; we have a Chief in the family???????”

”Chief!!!!!”

Father Su was completely stunned, standing there for a long time without coming to his senses, still immersed in this huge surprise.

At this time, a soldier suddenly spoke, pulling Father Su, who was lost in shock, back to reality:

”Um, Uncle, we have delivered the items, the mission is complete, and we need to head back.”

He pointed at the three cases and whispered:

”Uncle, let me tell you one thing: do not tell anyone about these items except for Auntie and your daughter. This is something our Chief specifically instructed.”

After speaking, he returned to his normal tone and said loudly:

”Alright Uncle, we’re leaving! Auntie, goodbye, young lady!”

With that, the three soldiers drank the water Mother Su had brought in one gulp and prepared to leave.

Just then, Father Su suddenly snapped out of it and hurriedly called out to them, saying with a serious expression:

”Young men, take these three treasures back. We cannot accept them. Now is the time when they are needed to defend the country. The country needs them more than our small family does, and we cannot hog such good things.”

Mother Su also understood what was going on. A kind smile appeared on her face as she said:

”That brat Little Chen, using his power recklessly just because he has a little bit of authority. Such precious items are a waste on us. You take them back, and don’t let my brat make a mistake.”

The three soldiers were stunned by Father Su and Mother Su’s words. They looked at each other and smiled, and the leading soldier grinned and said:

”Uncle, Auntie! While there is no home without a country, but...”

”If your small family is destroyed, then our big family will be finished!”

”These three mecha were specially arranged by the higher-ups. They said that if you are unwilling, that’s fine too; we will take back the Individual Mecha and arrange a Space Mecha for you instead!”

Upon hearing this, Father Su thought of the massive Space Mecha and waved his hands in fear, saying:

”That—that would be even worse!”

Seeing this, the soldiers looked at each other and smiled again, and the leading soldier said:

”There we go!”

”Alright, we have other missions, so we’ll be leaving first!”

After saying this, the three soldiers turned and left, and Father Su hurried forward to close the door.

After the door was closed, the family of three looked at each other, still not having recovered from the series of events that had just occurred.

Mother Su sat down, looked at Father Su, her face full of surprise, and said:

”Father of the child, didn’t you say Little Chen was just a college student?”

”How is he being called Chief by them? The rank of Chief seems quite high!”

”And what they said, about our family being destroyed meaning the country is finished?”

”What is going on?”

Father Su was also completely confused. He scratched his head and said:

”I don’t know either. When that brat comes back, I must ask him clearly!”
