Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 149 Slapping the Dragon Kingdom in the Face? Two naval fleet reinforcements are on the way!

Moreover, these two naval fleets are the USA’s renowned and powerful First and Second Fleets!

Especially the First Fleet, whose flagship is a Ford-class aircraft carrier!

As a representative of the next generation of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers for the USA Navy, its full-load displacement can reach over 100,000 tons.

Its massive frame can carry a large number of carrier-based aircraft, while possessing longer range and higher speed, allowing for rapid deployment to various hotspots around the globe.

There are also two Ticonderoga-class cruisers, a type of cruiser that has served in the USA Navy for many years with a distinguished combat record.

It is equipped with the Aegis Combat System, the core of which is a powerful phased-array radar and computer processing system capable of tracking and processing a large amount of target information simultaneously, possessing extremely strong air defense, anti-missile, and anti-submarine capabilities.

Additionally, there are four Arleigh Burke-class destroyers; as one of the primary destroyers currently in service with the USA Navy, it adopts an advanced stealth design with a sleek hull shape that reduces its radar cross-section, improving the vessel’s stealth.

In terms of weapon systems, it is equipped with a vertical launch system capable of firing various types of missiles, including anti-aircraft missiles, anti-ship missiles, and land-attack missiles.

Besides these, there are also attack nuclear submarines and other types of warships!

These fleets are an existence that no country dares to underestimate, and they are the source of the USA’s confidence!

As it happens, they were executing a mission near the White Sea and rushed over to provide support upon receiving the order!

They will arrive in at most five hours!

Upon learning that the First and Second Fleets were on their way, the US Secretary of State finally felt his heart settle.

He straightened his back, his eyes reigniting with arrogance and confidence.

In his view, with these two fleets as backup, those few warships from the Dragon Kingdom were nothing to fear.

He immediately reported to the President:

”Rest assured, Mr. President, we don’t need to fear the Dragon Kingdom’s fleet anymore!”

”And you don’t need to worry about our naval base either. Our base is very secretive, capable of blocking satellite reconnaissance, so it won’t be discovered!”

After listening, although the President’s brows remained furrowed, he nodded slightly, acknowledging the Secretary of State’s statement.

But the very next second, the Dragon Kingdom’s live broadcast feed suddenly changed.

A thick defensive seawall towered high!

The alloy material reflected a cold light under the sunlight.

On the seawall were defensive artillery guns, their muzzles menacing, as if ready to spew fury at any moment.

Inside the seawall, buildings stood in clusters, and the command building loomed majestically!

Its unique design and stealth materials allowed it to blend in with the surrounding environment.

And this place that suddenly appeared on the screen also had a sizable tarmac!

On it, several fighter jets rested like dormant falcons, ready to spread their wings and take flight at any moment.

Most eye-catching of all was the port area, where warships were currently docked in an orderly fashion.

Several warships surrounded the area, the missile launchers and artillery systems on their hulls exuding a chilling aura.

Upon seeing the 3D map of the base on the screen, the Secretary of State was stunned at first, feeling a sense of familiarity.

He frowned slightly, but soon he realized!

Holy shit!

Isn’t this our naval base?

No wonder it looked so familiar!

Wait...

Why would the Dragon Kingdom’s live broadcast have footage of our base???

His heart jumped into his throat; he finally understood completely!

Damn it, the Dragon Kingdom has discovered their base!!!

His face turned deathly pale in an instant!

There was no anomaly from the Satellite Department, so clearly, the other side hadn’t hacked the satellites to discover the base’s location!

Then it must be that the Dragon Kingdom dispatched reconnaissance aircraft!

Thinking of this, Secretary of State Jack angrily picked up the communication device and hurriedly contacted the secret base’s person in charge.

”The Dragon Kingdom has just directly exposed our base like this; is your air defense department full of trash?”

The Secretary of State’s roar almost shattered the communicator.

The person in charge on the other end was also dumbfounded!

Clearly, they were also paying attention to the Dragon Kingdom’s movements, and seeing the scene of the base on the screen, the person in charge felt his scalp go numb!

A giant question mark formed in his mind!

How did the Dragon Kingdom discover their base?

He anxiously explained to the Secretary of State on the other end of the communicator:

”The air defense radar is already on, but we haven’t detected any enemy aircraft at all!”

Upon hearing this answer, the Secretary of State immediately felt that something was wrong.

”Could it be the Dragon Kingdom’s stealth drones?”

This thought flashed through his mind, making his back go cold.

He knew deeply that if the Dragon Kingdom truly possessed such advanced stealth drone technology, it would be a huge threat to the USA.

Just as he was about to start cursing again, Elder Zhao spoke up once more.

”As you can see, this island is filled with various lethal weapons everywhere, which shows just how vicious this group of pirates is!”

His gaze swept across the island, and then he said:

”If we were to rashly land on the island, it would be dangerous. For the sake of safety, we have decided to give this group of pirates a chance!”

”If you can surrender within twelve hours, we will not annihilate you!”

”Otherwise, we will definitely launch a saturation attack on you and annihilate the entire pirate nest!”

”We have made ourselves very clear. Now, we are starting the countdown for you!”

On the other end, the Secretary of State heard Elder Zhao’s words and was suddenly so angry he laughed.

”Is this a joke? They actually want us, the world hegemon, to surrender? In their dreams!”

”If we surrender, how will we in the USA ever show our faces again!”

He paced back and forth in the command room, waving his hands incessantly, trying to vent the anger in his heart.

The person in charge on the other end of the communication asked with a trembling voice:

”Mr. Secretary of State, what should we do now?”

”We have already been exposed!”

The Secretary of State snorted coldly: ”So we’re exposed, so what?”

”Rest assured, the Dragon Kingdom absolutely wouldn’t dare to act recklessly!”

”Besides, as the person in charge of the base, don’t you understand your own base?”

”I know that the original purpose of building your base was to contain the powerful nations around the White Sea. You possess many advanced weapons and armaments, and the base’s defenses are impregnable; it’s impossible for the Dragon Kingdom to breach it!”

The person in charge nodded: ”Our base has many anti-aircraft weapons, so we indeed don’t worry about the other side opening fire on us!”

”Unless they throw a Nuke at us!”

”A Nuke...”

The Secretary of State was very disdainful of this:

”The Dragon Kingdom doesn’t have the guts for that!”

”Besides, our fleets are on their way, and by then, the Dragon Kingdom will inevitably withdraw!”

”The Dragon Kingdom is just bluffing. They want to take down our secret base with a mere three warships?”

Upon hearing his words, the person in charge was actually somewhat looking forward to seeing the Dragon Kingdom’s methods!

Anyway, the whole world already knows they are an overseas base of the USA. If they could make the Dragon Kingdom helpless against them!

Wouldn’t that be a crazy slap in the face to the Dragon Kingdom in front of the whole world!

Just thinking about it feels great!
