Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 120 Comrades, don’t worry, it’s already underway!!Zhou Haicheng looked at these fearless soldiers under his command, feeling a sense of gratification himself!

It was his honor to be their commanding officer!

He waved his hand, signaling the adjutant to hand them paper and pens.

”It’s that familiar ritual of writing your last letters again!”

”Before, I was just trying to scare you to get you into a better combat-ready state!”

”But this time, I’m afraid it’s for real!”

”Write carefully, and make your handwriting... look good!”

”Who knows, your last letters might even be put on display later. If you write badly and get laughed at, I’ll beat you up even when we’re down below!”

”Alright! Get to writing!”

Zhou Haicheng turned around and walked into the command room, not daring to say anything more, for he feared he wouldn’t be able to hold back his tears if he continued!

Returning to the command room, he found a corner.

He also picked up a piece of paper and a pen. As he began to write, the figures of many people flashed through his mind!

His elderly parents who were looking forward to his return, his virtuous wife, and of course, his daughter, whom he hadn’t seen in three years and didn’t even know what she looked like now!

This was supposed to be his final year on Submarine 304, after which he would be able to transfer to an administrative role and stay with his family forever!

Yet he never expected things to turn out like this!

He began to write!

Starting with the words ”I’m sorry.”

Ending with!

”Do not miss me!”

The soldiers’ last letters were finally placed in a special box.

This was the place specifically used for storing last letters.

Everyone used to think this place was ominous, but at this moment, everyone hoped the last letters inside the box would eventually reach their families!

The last letters were carefully placed into waterproof bags, wrapped layer by layer, and then put into the box!

After the last letters were put away.

The timer suddenly began to beep!

To contact reinforcements as much as possible, they sent out distress calls every so often!

Besides Su Chen, they also tried to call for help from nearby reinforcements!

They narrowed the radar signal range to within a few dozen nautical miles!

This was the optimal range for them to receive support.

Anything beyond this range, even if they made contact, they wouldn’t be able to wait for rescue given their current oxygen levels!

However, whether it was because Japan’s warships had powerful signal jamming capabilities or because there were no friendly warships in range, it was unclear!

These attempts, without exception, all ended in failure!

And this time, they didn’t hold much hope either!

However, Zhou Haicheng still decided to give it a try!

What if!

What if a miracle happened???

He picked up the communicator and started calling!

However, there was no response at all!

He slowly put down the communicator, then seemingly remembering something, he picked up the microphone again and said:

”This is Submarine 304!”

”We are currently executing a mission from which we cannot return!”

”Submarine 304 has been surrounded by sixteen warships from Japan!”

”They have dropped too many depth charges around the submarine to block our normal navigation, yet they have specifically opened a channel leading to their national waters, forcing us to head toward their territory!”

”We know what this means...”

”Submarine 304 has at most one and a half hours of oxygen left! During this time, we will quietly wait for the oxygen to run out!”

”Finally, all crew members of Submarine 304 will not surrender to Japan! We will all face death with dignity!”

”Farewell... Motherland!”

Zhou Haicheng slowly put down the microphone again!

He thought to himself, so this is what it feels like when you are about to die!

However, just as he was preparing to shut down the communication device completely.

Suddenly, a familiar voice rang out:

”Captain Zhou Haicheng? This is longwei warship!”

”What happened?”

”Why are you giving your last words???”

”We are heading to the target waters at full speed to prepare for rescue. We will be there soon, hang in there!”

Zhou Haicheng was shocked upon hearing this voice.

He looked at the communication range, which had been set to a few dozen nautical miles. How could longwei warship, which was hundreds of nautical miles away not long ago, receive their message????

Or was it... that they were going to arrive so soon?

This speed was simply too fast!

He wanted to say something, but just then, a voice came through the microphone again:

”Chief Su Chen, we have discovered a reef three nautical miles ahead! Should we go around it?”

Su Chen: ”No need! Keep moving forward, crush it!”

”Mr. Secretary of State Jack!”

”The plan is a great success, we have trapped the Dragon Country’s submarine in the sea!”

”We have covered the surrounding area with depth charges!”

”Now the Dragon Country only has one path, which is to break into our Japan’s territorial waters!”

”However, this is definitely a dead end. As long as they dare to break in... heh heh heh!”

Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro of the Japan First Fleet was reporting the battle results to the US Secretary of State at this moment!

During this period, the USA had been looking quite disgraced!

What happened at the Skunk Works was widely reported by some media, causing Lockheed’s stock to plummet!

Hundreds of billions of dollars evaporated directly!

This was a company with military backing from the USA, and these losses were also losses for the USA official side!

Many orders were subsequently canceled because of this!

Even the CEO was replaced!

And this was just a small matter; the situation on Daishin’s side was the big one!

During this period, Daishin had lost so much face!

The Individual Combat Mecha had already entered the war!

And it was a full twenty mechas deployed together!

It directly beat the stubborn country of Daishin into submission!

Not only did they give up all the occupied areas!

They also gave up a large portion of their interests!

This included destroying the Iron Dome air defense system!

This meant that even without mechas in the future, they could easily handle the opponent with missiles!

Seeing that they were truly obedient this time, the Desert Alliance finally suppressed their anger!

Because the USA had not cracked the Mecha Suit, they did not dare to rashly provide support!

Therefore, after all that maneuvering, the USA didn’t gain any advantage and even lost quite a bit!

When had they ever suffered such a loss?

And all of this was thanks to the Dragon Country!

Now, hearing the good news reported by Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro, Secretary of State Jack’s long-suppressed emotions were finally released at this moment!

”Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro, it really has to be you all!”

”I don’t trust the Bangzi and the servant states, but I only trust you; your ability to get things done is strong!”

”You are truly reliable!”

Being able to receive praise from the US Secretary of State, Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro was in an excellent mood!

In fact, this was really not easy to do!

If any problem occurred in any link, the Dragon Country’s submarine might have escaped!

But who could have thought that they would have the right time, the right place, and the right people on their side!

That was how they perfectly trapped the opponent in the sea!

After the praise, just in case, the US Secretary of State spoke up again to remind him:

”The Dragon Country has always been cunning!”

”You must be careful of their reinforcements!”
