Chapter 124 Are You Being Watched? The adjutant looked at the calm sea, still feeling a bit worried!

”Commander-in-Chief, could something go wrong?”

”I have an inexplicable, ominous feeling!”

Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro glanced at his adjutant and laughed disdainfully:

”You lack confidence in our fleet!”

”You must know that our fleet is invincible when facing a nuclear submarine that cannot launch Nuclear Weapons!”

”Not only do we possess advanced warships and sophisticated weaponry, but we also have the support of the US behind us.”

”How could any accidents happen under these circumstances?”

In this region of the Pacific Ocean, there is also an aircraft carrier strike group from the US stationed as backup!

He really couldn’t imagine any possible accidents!

Even if the Dragon Country’s fleet really flew over, he wouldn’t be afraid!

For the sake of victory in this conflict and the upcoming general election, he had to destroy this nuclear submarine no matter what!

He couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to his adjutant’s worries!

It was time to start enjoying a meal!

Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro walked with a relaxed stride toward his private dining room; along the way, soldiers saluted him respectfully.

He nodded slightly, a look of satisfaction on his face.

Inside the dining room, exquisite tableware was neatly arranged, and delicious food exuded an enticing aroma.

Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro sat in a comfortable chair, tasting the food, his heart filled with longing for the future.

It wasn’t just a simple meal; he was also watching a movie playing on the television in front of him with great interest!

He liked this movie very much!

It played on a loop every day, and he never got tired of watching it!

The movie was set a hundred years ago, depicting a naval battle between the fleet of Japan and the Qing Dynasty!

The Qing Dynasty, which claimed to have the most powerful navy in Asia, was vulnerable before the fleet of Japan!

They were even beaten to the point of not daring to fight back, and their warships were simply seized by Japan!

Every time he saw the defeated face of the Qing Dynasty, Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro would excitedly clap and cheer!

It was as if watching such a movie could cover up the fact that they were eventually defeated!

Every time this happened, he would want to have a real confrontation with the current navy of the Dragon Country!

To defeat them and tell them!

A hundred years ago, their navy was vulnerable!

A hundred years later, it is still vulnerable!

He even began to imagine this scene in his mind, feeling quite thrilled!

”I really want to have a one-on-one confrontation with the Dragon Country’s warships!”

He grinned, but he knew this idea was almost impossible to realize!

Unless...

He looked at the turbulent sea, thinking of the Dragon Country submarine still in the water!

Unless the Dragon Country’s reinforcements arrived!

But looking at the current situation, they didn’t seem able to come!

The Dragon Country’s submarine would not be able to wait for reinforcements to arrive!

He shrugged helplessly, looking forward to the future battle!

And just when he was watching with great interest!

The image on the television suddenly disappeared!

Then it turned into static!

This sudden change surprised him a bit!

”What’s going on?”

He looked at the restaurant staff!

The staff were also bewildered!

It was the first time they had encountered such a situation!

The maintenance personnel checked it and stated:

”It seems to be affected by some kind of strong magnetic interference!”

Strong magnetic interference????

Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro immediately thought, could it be that the strong magnetic interference released by their functional warship had interfered with their own ship’s signal?

He shrugged helplessly!

He prepared to go back and scold those guys for disturbing his enjoyment!

Although he was angry, his mood was still high!

Once he thought about the possibility of reaching the pinnacle of power in Japan in the future, he felt that this little mishap was nothing!

Then he couldn’t help but feel complacent!

And just at this moment!

Suddenly...

With a ”whoosh” sound, something was flying toward this direction at high speed, he didn’t know what it was!

Immediately after.

Boom!!!!!

A sudden explosion occurred.

It was massive.

The entire fleet seemed to tremble from the huge sound.

Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro was instantly stunned; he didn’t know what had happened.

He hurriedly put down his tableware and rushed to the command room.

When he arrived at the command room, the scene before him stunned him.

He saw a 10,000-ton destroyer actually split in two!

Fire shot into the sky instantly.

The enemy warship was instantly torn apart by the powerful impact, and debris flew everywhere.

A terrifying hole was blown into the engine room.

That was the hardest part of the entire warship; how could it be destroyed so easily?

Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro’s heart was filled with shock and fear.

Huge waves rose on the sea, as if it were a tsunami.

The crew on board were also stunned by this sudden turn of events!

They scrambled for lifeboats to escape!

However, the destructive power was too great!

Seawater quickly flooded the interior of the warship, swallowing everything.

In less than ten seconds, the heavily damaged large destroyer sank into the sea.

Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro watched his warship sink, his heart filled with despair.

He didn’t know what kind of weapon could have such enormous power to destroy his warship in an instant.

He had been a naval commander for decades, and this was the first time he had seen such an unbelievable sight!

It was as if a small Nuke had exploded inside the warship!

The panicked Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro hurriedly ordered someone to activate the Aegis Combat System.

He pinned all his hopes on this defense system, which the US boasted was the most advanced in the world.

He believed that as long as the Aegis Combat System was successfully activated, they would be able to withstand the enemy’s attack.

However, he then heard another piece of news that made his scalp tingle!

Their communication system had suffered strong magnetic interference and had completely failed!

He subconsciously thought it was caused by their own warship!

But when he learned that the internal communications of their own functional warship that was releasing the electromagnetic interference had also failed!

Now he completely lost his composure!

This tactic was one he was extremely familiar with!

First, use strong magnetic interference to paralyze the enemy’s communications!

Then, slowly torture the opponent!

Thinking of this, Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro’s heart skipped a beat!

Oh no!

We are...

Being targeted????!!

On the vast and boundless ocean.

Sunlight shone on the sparkling sea, a gentle breeze blew, and everything seemed quiet and peaceful.

However, this tranquility was soon broken.

A 10,000-ton large destroyer of the Japan fleet stood majestically on the sea like a steel fortress.

Its massive body and sturdy armor all demonstrated its powerful strength.

The various advanced equipment on the ship flashed with indicator lights, and the crew members were busy in their respective duties, nervous and orderly.

Suddenly, a dazzling light flashed across the sky, approaching rapidly like a meteor.
