Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 126 Let’s fight the Japanese! The moment the shell fell, the entire sea area seemed to be violently shaken by an invisible giant hand.

The massive Electromagnetic Railgun shell did not directly hit any warship; it merely exploded in the waters at the center of the fleet. Yet, its scattered destructive power acted like a reaping scythe, tearing and shattering the surrounding warships one by one!

A heaven-destroying, earth-shattering shockwave spread rapidly in all directions like a violent tsunami.

The seawater was sharply compressed and then surged outward at a bone-chilling speed.

The enemy ships bearing the brunt of the impact were instantly torn apart by this immense power.

Their sturdy steel hulls were twisted and snapped as easily as fragile pieces of paper.

The massive ship bodies were tossed high into the air by the shockwave, only to crash back down onto the sea surface, sending up water columns hundreds of meters high.

The aircraft, weaponry, and personnel on the decks were instantly thrown into the air, scattering like toys.

Flames spread rapidly across the warships; the intense heat melted the steel, turning the entire vessels into massive furnaces.

Raging fires burned, and thick black smoke billowed upward, mixing with the dust and smoke from the explosion to form a haze that blotted out the sun.

As the shockwave continued to spread, the surrounding warships were not spared either.

Some were capsized by the massive waves, while others were struck by flying debris, all falling into chaos and destruction.

The sea surface was littered with broken hulls, burning flames, and floating corpses everywhere.

The fleet, which had been awe-inspiring and fortress-like just tens of minutes ago, had now turned into a living hell.

The Japan fleet was completely annihilated.

”Report to headquarters, the Japan fleet has been completely destroyed!”

In the sky, five uniquely shaped fighter jets suddenly revealed themselves.

One fighter jet swept over the sea, confirmed that all warships had been destroyed, and excitedly reported the intelligence to the longwei warship Command Center.

...

Inside the Command Center of the longwei warship.

General Zhao Yong was staring at the radar map, his eyes filled with shock.

Although he had anticipated it, seeing the shell destroy a warship in an instant still made his heart tremble!

According to the intelligence from the seventh-generation aircraft on the front line, those were 10,000-ton class large destroyers!

One shot for one 10,000-ton destroyer!

Terrifying indeed—

Even if the Eagle aircraft carrier strike group came, they would have to stay here.

And keep in mind, Su Chen had only charged the Electromagnetic Naval Gun to three percent, yet it was already this terrifying!

If it were fully charged!

No matter how many fleets came, they would be wiped out in one wave... General Zhao Yong thought to himself!

And he had grounds for thinking so!

Just moments ago, all the light spots on the radar had vanished!

This meant the Japan warships had been completely annihilated!

And it was also just one shot...

Except that the shell just now had been charged to seven percent!

Both the coverage area and the destructive power had increased!

Su Chen had deliberately let them travel a certain distance to avoid accidentally harming the comrades inside the submarine!

Of course, there were also small-caliber Electromagnetic Naval Guns on the warship!

But because they weren’t equipped with the corresponding small shells, he simply used the large-caliber shells to wipe the enemy out in one wave!

After all, attacking one by one was too much of a waste of shells!

The little devils were not worth wasting them on.

Seeing the battle resolved so easily, General Zhao Yong looked at Su Chen in disbelief:

”Through this actual combat, the longwei warship has proven its unparalleled and powerful combat capability to us!”

”This power is simply too terrifying. In front of the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, a fleet formation composed of the enemy’s 10,000-ton destroyers has absolutely no ability to resist!”

”And the enemy didn’t even have any countermeasures!”

”Especially with their electronic information systems completely locked down, they were practically just a bunch of sitting ducks waiting to be hit!!!!”

The more General Zhao Yong spoke, the more shocked he felt.

If this were in the past, this Japan fleet could definitely have gone toe-to-toe with the navy of any country!

Yet it was so easily dealt with by a single longwei warship!

This was something he, General Zhao Yong, would never have dared to imagine before!

It can be said that the appearance of the longwei warship has completely rewritten the way naval battles are fought!

”Su Chen, you have rendered another great service this time!”

”With this longwei warship, our navy is truly invincible!”

General Zhao Yong excitedly patted Su Chen a few times!

Su Chen winced in pain and laughed: ”General Zhao Yong, don’t get too excited yet. Don’t forget, there’s still Captain Zhou Haicheng and his crew!”

”It’s about time; they should be surfacing soon!”

General Zhao Yong quickly realized: ”Right, right, hurry and go pick them up!”

”I kept thinking about how amazing the longwei warship is, I almost forgot that Zhou Haicheng and his crew are still at the bottom of the sea!” The old man chuckled sheepishly.

...

Inside Submarine 304.

Zhou Haicheng and the others were anxiously watching the time!

There were three minutes left before they could surface according to orders.

The captain was in the submarine’s operation room at this moment!

Two operators were whispering to each other.

”What was that just now? Why did it feel like I heard some kind of sound?”

”It seems like the sound came from the sea surface!”

”It couldn’t be that our reinforcements and the Japan warships have started fighting, could it?”

”The sound disappeared very quickly, and we only dispatched one warship, it couldn’t be that we were... pfft, pfft, pfft, it must be that we easily wiped them out! We scared them away!”

Zhou Haicheng’s mood was very heavy at this moment.

He had also heard the faint sound from above!

Generally speaking, seawater is a good medium for sound propagation, and sound travels much faster in seawater than in air.

However, as depth increases, sound gradually attenuates during propagation.

When a warship explodes on the sea surface, it generates intense sound waves.

These sound waves propagate in all directions, and a portion enters the seawater.

Furthermore, due to long-distance propagation and various influences of the seawater, the sound heard might have become blurred, making it difficult to distinguish whether it was specifically the sound of a warship explosion.

But as excellent submariners of Submarine 304, their ears were exceptionally sensitive!

Especially in the quiet sea!

Every sound would be amplified!

Although they couldn’t tell if an explosion had occurred on the surface, they could be certain that something had definitely happened!

Seeing the time getting closer and closer to the agreed-upon time, coupled with the situation on the sea surface, not only Zhou Haicheng but also the other crew members were feeling heavy-hearted!

Especially... the oxygen was running low!

Just at this moment, the door to the operation room was knocked open!

It was Chief Petty Officer Zhang Aiguo!

Representing all the sailors, he made a request to Zhou Haicheng:

”Captain, we’ve thought about it!”

”Dying like this is just too frustrating!”

”Instead of waiting to die, why don’t we... fight Japan to the death!”
