Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 135 The Japanese are in a panic! All warships return to port! The Dragon Kingdom.

Diplomat Lin Xingzhou was processing documents.

He was a refined-looking middle-aged man who gave people a very approachable feeling.

However, this was only when treating his own people; in terms of diplomacy between nations, he was introverted yet unyielding.

Just then, his assistant walked over.

”Leader, Japan’s ambassador, Akimura Tai, wants to see you!”

Lin Xingzhou was slightly stunned and nodded thoughtfully, seemingly having guessed the reason why the other party had come to find him!

”Let him in!”

He put down the document in his hand and stood up!

Before long, a somewhat greasy-looking middle-aged fat man, surrounded by a group of people, arrived in front of him!

This was Japan’s ambassador, Akimura Tai!

As the ambassador stationed in the Dragon Kingdom, it was naturally not his first time dealing with Lin Xingzhou!

After a simple greeting, Akimura Tai went straight to the point!

”Respected Mr. Lin, hello!”

”I believe your country should know what I have come here for!”

”This incident has already fermented worldwide, and our country is also somewhat turbulent because of this matter!”

”And as the culprit... your country should give us an explanation, right?”

Akimura Tai stared intently at Lin Xingzhou, seemingly wanting to discover a trace of something wrong in his micro-expressions, thereby judging whether the other party was feeling guilty and whether it was truly their doing!

However, he was disappointed!

Lin Xingzhou’s expression and demeanor were incredibly natural; there was absolutely no flaw to be seen!

He just smiled calmly and said:

”Mr. Akimura Tai, the term ’culprit’ is likely inappropriate to describe us!”

”First, we absolutely do not accept your baseless accusations!”

”Second, speaking of culprits, it was actually you who provoked us first. Do you really think we don’t know what happened?”

”If we told the world that it was you who attempted to infringe upon our submarine fleet, only to end up suffering a loss instead of gaining anything, do you think the situation would become even worse than it is now?”

Akimura Tai’s face instantly turned livid!

In previous dealings with Lin Xingzhou, he had never seen him use such sharp language!

Akimura Tai had intended to use offense as defense, using words he thought were highly aggressive to embarrass the other party, but the other party had easily neutralized his offensive and instead delivered a heavy blow to him!

After being stunned for about a second, Akimura Tai launched another offensive.

His main strategy was shamelessness!

”Hmph! I don’t know what you are talking about. I only know that our fleet was patrolling normally, suddenly encountered your submarines, and then lost contact!”

”Furthermore, we have already obtained sufficient evidence that it is you who played these tricks!”

Lin Xingzhou chuckled: ”Since your country has evidence in hand, why not show it?”

Akimura Tai widened his eyes slightly, his gaze darting around, and then he snorted coldly:

”We have no intention of escalating the situation!”

”We just want your country to give an explanation now!”

Lin Xingzhou smiled lightly: ”No need. I think that if your country produces evidence, not only will it not escalate the situation, but it will actually help your country extricate itself from the public opinion turmoil caused by this incident!”

”So, if you have evidence, hurry up and bring it out!”

”Or could it be... that the so-called evidence from the other side actually doesn’t exist at all?”

Akimura Tai took a deep breath: ”Of... of course it exists!”

Lin Xingzhou: ”Then take it out!”

Seeing that the other party was completely fearless, Akimura Tai felt a bit uneasy!

Could it really have nothing to do with them?

The other party had been very calm the whole time, without showing any abnormality at all.

”If Mr. Akimura Tai has no other business, please leave!”

”My work is quite busy!”

Akimura Tai frowned, not expecting the other party to issue an eviction order so quickly!

He was quite angry: ”Mr. Lin Xingzhou, I came here this time to notify you, not to discuss with you!”

”We will definitely not let this matter pass just like that!”

”We will inevitably take action; you just wait to welcome our retaliation!”

Hearing his words, Lin Xingzhou remained very calm:

”Since your country does not believe it, there is nothing we can do!”

”However, I want to advise you: we do not accept baseless accusations, let alone so-called retaliation against us based on baseless accusations!”

”Otherwise, we will likewise take action to counter!”

”Please remember these words of mine; do not say you were not warned!”

”Hmph! Then let’s wait and see!” Akimura Tai snorted coldly, then turned and left!

Watching his retreating figure, Lin Xingzhou smiled calmly:

”To think they want to slander us?”

”However, I wish it were us who did it!”

Just as Akimura Tai left, Lin Xingzhou suddenly received a phone call.

This call came from a higher authority!

”Xiao Lin, I need to brief you on something. We suspect that Japan might come to your side to probe for information!”

”Remember...”

At first, Lin Xingzhou was puzzled, wondering what information they would probe for?

After all, he had already sent the person away!

And as his superior told Lin Xingzhou the truth, he was left stunned!

”What???”

”So the matter really was done by us???”

Lin Xingzhou was dumbfounded!

When did we become so powerful?

Destroying an entire enemy joint fleet without a sound???

Just now... I even thought Japan was slandering us!!!

...

Akimura Tai: ”It seems it probably wasn’t the Dragon Kingdom!”

”I couldn’t detect any abnormality from them at all!”

”If it was an act, that would be too formidable!”

Returning to his residence, Akimura Tai had calmed down by now.

He thought about it carefully and found that the Dragon Kingdom had handled things flawlessly.

His suspicion towards them had faded quite a bit!

But he still hadn’t completely ruled out the Dragon Kingdom’s suspicion.

He pondered over the words Lin Xingzhou had said earlier!

The Dragon Kingdom had irreconcilable hatred with his own country. If it really was the Dragon Kingdom, and they possessed such powerful combat capability, they certainly wouldn’t just let it go at that!

Wouldn’t the remaining warships be in great danger?

The more he thought about it, the more terrified he became!

Just then, a long-distance call came from Japan!

They were asking about the situation on his end!

Akimura Tai told them about the Dragon Kingdom’s attitude, but at the same time, he also expressed his own concerns!

It would have been fine if he hadn’t said it, but as soon as he spoke, it immediately caused panic among the naval high command!

”The enemy’s weapons kill invisibly. Quickly, hurry and call back all of our warships that have set sail!”

”If it really is the Dragon Kingdom, our remaining warships will likely be gone too!”

”If we can’t catch the Dragon Kingdom’s evidence and our warships are completely wiped out, our navy will be completely destroyed. Quickly, have all warships return to port!”

”Call back the fishing boats too!”
