Chapter 102: All the Fifth-Generation Fighters Gone?Daishin had temporarily concluded that the unknown flying objects attacking them were a type of advanced stealth fighter.

The entire Command Center was engaged in a heated discussion regarding these fighters!

”But where on earth did these fighters come from? I don’t believe that those guys in the desert could build such powerful fighters!”

”Could it be the Russian Bear????”

”No, that’s impossible. We have no grudge against them; why would they trouble us?”

”It couldn’t be those guys in Europe either. We share common interests with them; there’s no reason for them to turn against us...”

”Could it be the Dragon Kingdom? No, no. Although the people of the Dragon Kingdom have significant grievances against us, their official government does not!”

”It couldn’t possibly be the Eagle... could it?”

As soon as these words were spoken, the room fell into instant silence!

Logically speaking, they were the Eagle’s lackeys; the big brother wouldn’t help outsiders target his own lackeys, right?

But the Eagle’s style has always been ”Everything for profit!”

Turning against someone for profit is a common occurrence!

They might even be beating you up one second and then smiling and trying to build a relationship the next!

However, there is currently no evidence to suggest that the Eagle was the one who did it!

Of course, there is another theory!

That is, those from the Oil Country—The Oil Tycoon—purchased advanced fighters from countries with high technological research and development capabilities!

After all, money talks; they once purchased quite a few Nukes from the Dragon Kingdom, even though the launch rights remained in the hands of the Dragon Kingdom!

But then again, would any country really sell such advanced fighters just for money?

They easily wiped out over fifty of their fighters!

Even if an F-22 Raptor Fighter Jet were here, it wouldn’t have such high elimination efficiency!

The more they thought about it, the more their heads hurt!

And there was one more issue to consider!

That was, what to do next?

”Sir, should we still launch airstrikes against the desert nations?”

Everyone’s gaze fell upon Stanford!

The latter pondered for a moment and immediately said:

”Continue with the airstrike plan!”

”Deploy the newly formed Air Force unit to escort the bomber fleet!”

The newly formed Air Force unit was composed of Fifth-generation fighters purchased from the Eagle!

Stanford sneered: ”Now that the enemy has destroyed an entire fighter squadron of ours, they must be feeling smug! They think we are afraid of them!”

”And at this moment, we must strike when they least expect it!”

Someone raised an objection: ”But General, the enemy’s fighter performance is very strong. What if our Fifth-generation fighters are no match for them?”

Stanford replied calmly: ”The Fifth-generation fighters are our trump card. If you don’t test them, how will you know which trump card is superior?”

”We have to compare them; otherwise, we will continue to live in the fear they have created!”

After saying this, he immediately gave the order:

”Deploy the newly formed Air Force unit!”

”Launch an airstrike directly on the refugee camp closest to our base!”

”I want to turn that place... into a sea of fire!”

Stanford shouted the last part almost through gritted teeth!

His subordinate hurried to relay Stanford’s order!

But just as the call connected...

Before long, the subordinate responsible for relaying the order turned pale with terror!

”What did you say?”

”Say that again!!!”

”Oh~ My~ God~”

Stanford noticed the anomaly and immediately frowned:

”What’s wrong?”

”What happened?”

The subordinate slowly put down the receiver, his eyes vacant, and slowly said:

”The person in charge of the newly formed Air Force Base said...”

”Just a short while ago, the base was attacked!”

”The twenty F-35 model Fifth-generation fighters located at the base...”

”Have all been destroyed!”

As these words were spoken, the entire room went silent.

A silence so deep you could hear a pin drop!

It was only after a long while that these people reacted and began to curse in anger!

”Those damn guys from the Desert Coalition, they really deserve to die! They actually destroyed all of our Fifth-generation fighters! Damn it! Truly detestable! I wish I could swallow them alive!”

”That was our trump card! It was destroyed before we could even really use it. How did we not anticipate that they would target our Fifth-generation fighters!”

”These were worth billions of dollars! They’re just gone like that??? My heart is bleeding!”

”The Desert Coalition is inhuman! Send troops! Send troops and take them out! If we don’t avenge this, I’ll acknowledge them as my ancestors!”

...

Everyone in the Daishin Command Center was filled with rage; these guys had completely lost their composure!

This is intolerable!

They must make an example of the Desert Coalition!

Even the usually rational General Stanford was now livid, his face iron-blue with rage!

This time it was his decision-making error; he hadn’t expected that invisible unit of the enemy to have such guts!

They didn’t just stop after destroying their squadron; they actually took the initiative to launch an attack and wiped out their Fifth-generation fighter squadron!

This truly touched his limit.

And just at this moment.

Photos were sent over from the Air Force Base!

Stanford looked at the photos with a grave expression. The background of the photos was the very base airfield where their newly formed fighter squadron had been parked!

However, what he found unbelievable was that the photos had actually captured the culprits who destroyed their precious fighters...

And these culprits were not so-called stealth fighters!

They were actually humanoid mechs wrapped in metal!!!!!!

These images were dreamlike yet real!

But Stanford and the high-ranking officials couldn’t believe it!

The enemy had actually sent out mechs to fight them!

Not to mention that the technological gap was like a chasm, the key was how could the Desert Coalition possibly possess high-end gadgets like mechs!

Fake!

These images must have been photoshopped by the base person in charge to cover up his own responsibility!

That was what Stanford thought!

However, there was also a video!

In the video, those mechs were ghost-like; their speed and combat power were fully displayed, destroying the Fifth-generation fighters parked at the airfield in a matter of moments!

Their combat power could only be described as terrifying!

As everyone knows, videos can’t be photoshopped! (Dog head emoji)

So this was real!!!!

Stanford was completely stunned!

Mechs!

The enemy really had sent out mechs!

And not just one, but a full ten mechs!

No wonder they were able to easily destroy the fighter squadron!

One side had Third-generation fighters!

The other side had mechs that only existed in science fiction!

The gap between the two sides was not just a little bit!

In other words, the coalition couldn’t win in a fair fight, so they cheated behind the scenes?!

But the problem was!

How could the coalition have these mechs, which were even more exaggerated than so-called stealth fighters?

And just then, an expert from the Command Center’s armament research institute looked at the mech appearance in the photo and felt it looked more and more familiar!

Suddenly, he slapped his head!

He realized!

”Isn’t this the concept mech from the data previously released by the Eagle!!!”
