Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 114 Are we preparing to take over Blue Star?Workers bustled around the warship, their eyes filled with pride and glory.

They all knew that what they were helping to build was not just a warship, but an unprecedented super warship!

It was a symbol of the nation’s maritime power.

The tightening of every screw and the connection of every circuit required their full concentration; not a single mistake could be tolerated.

As one of the core leaders of this project, General Zhao Yong felt the weight of the responsibility heavily.

Of course, the main person in charge was still Su Chen, and his primary job was to help Su Chen with all the support work!

Now that the main body of the warship was complete, the next step was the final and most important one: installing the warship’s core component—the Nuclear Fusion Reactor.

A massive crane moved slowly, lifting a precise and heavy core component from the transport vehicle and carefully moving it into the interior of the warship.

The workers, dressed in uniform work clothes and wearing safety helmets, were busy in a tense and orderly manner.

Every one of their movements appeared exceptionally cautious, as if they were handling a priceless treasure.

This behemoth was the power core of the longwei warship, and its installation required extremely high precision.

The workers first laid thick shock-absorbing pads at specific locations on the bottom of the warship to ensure that the reactor would not produce excessive vibration during operation.

Then, the crane slowly lowered the reactor while the workers watched nervously from the side, ready to make fine adjustments at any moment.

When the reactor landed accurately in the designated position, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Next, the technicians began connecting various pipes and circuits to ensure the reactor could operate normally.

The tools in their hands were like nimble sprites, weaving between the complex equipment, with every joint tightened just right.

General Zhao Yong watched the scene before him nervously; the work of installing the core component demanded extremely high standards from the staff!

There could not be the slightest bit of carelessness!

Even the slightest problem could potentially lead to another extension of the construction period!

Or even cause serious consequences!

However, these staff members were quite capable!

Although the installation work was tense, everything went smoothly!

Su Chen began further debugging work!

During the debugging process, his brain raced as various complex technical parameters and data flashed through his mind.

He worked closely with his team members to check every system of the warship one by one, from the power system to the weapon system, from the navigation system to the communication system, not letting any potential problem area slip by.

Every problem discovered and solved brought them one step closer to success.

After a period of debugging, all the functions of the super warship were able to operate normally!

This meant that the super warship was ready for its trial voyage!

At the same time, Su Chen thought of an important issue!

That was the name of the warship!

Such an impressive warship must have a resounding name!

He looked at General Zhao Yong on the side: ”General Zhao Yong, please name our super warship!”

General Zhao Yong chuckled: ”This warship, from top to bottom, even every key part, was built by your own hands. How could I have the nerve to name it!”

Naming a warship is a great honor!

General Zhao Yong felt his skin wasn’t thick enough to compete with Su Chen for the naming rights!

Instead, he returned this honor to Su Chen!

”Comrade Su Chen, you should be the one to name this warship!”

Su Chen did not stand on ceremony; he nodded calmly and then fell into deep thought!

He recalled the nation’s history and glory, the efforts and sacrifices made by countless predecessors to defend the maritime borders, and remembered the heartbreak of having to mount land-based artillery on ships when facing invaders because there were no powerful warships!

At this moment, two words emerged in his mind—longwei!

”I hope this warship can uphold the might of our Dragon Nation!”

”Let’s call it the longwei warship!”

It was somewhat similar to the name of the Space Mecha!

The first Space Mecha was named longwei-1!

The name included a serial number!

However, super warships followed naval tradition, where every warship would have a different name!

A slight overlap wouldn’t have much of an impact!

Upon hearing Su Chen’s name, General Zhao Yong was stunned for a moment, then looked up and laughed loudly!

”Hahaha! Upholding the might of our Dragon Nation! The longwei warship!”

”Good! Good name!”

”Then let’s call it the longwei warship!”

Looking at the behemoth before him, General Zhao Yong’s eyes could not help but redden!

The navy had experienced ups and downs for nearly a hundred years; now with the longwei warship, it would surely allow the world to witness the might and terror of the Dragon Nation’s navy in the future!

Soon, everything was ready, and the longwei warship was about to welcome its maiden voyage.

The hundred-thousand-ton giant ship, like a moving steel castle, slowly sailed out of the dock.

On the deck, various advanced equipment and weapon systems were neatly arranged, with a space as large as half a football field, making one feel its grandeur and magnificence.

The most eye-catching feature was the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, with a caliber of about seven or eight meters.

The massive gun barrel stood high, as if showing the world its powerful might.

The large-caliber Electromagnetic Naval Gun was one of the core weapons of the longwei warship, and its appearance would completely change the landscape of naval warfare.

Compared to traditional artillery, the Electromagnetic Naval Gun possessed a higher rate of fire, longer range, and stronger lethality.

It could instantly fire high-speed projectiles, causing a terrifying, devastating strike on enemy targets, like a meteorite falling!

At this moment, the naval generals who had come to visit on the deck were shocked by the magnificent configuration of the warship!

Although they were high-level officials in the navy, they were not among the top brass, so they did not know much about this warship!

Hearing that the navy had built a big guy today, they all came to join in the excitement!

They were soon given a big fright by the huge gun barrel on the warship!

A gun barrel with a seven or eight-meter caliber!

It was their first time seeing one!

A naval lieutenant general could not help but exclaim:

”What is this for?”

”Planning to pierce through the Blue Star?”

A hundred-thousand-ton giant ship, with a deck as large as half a football field!

Especially the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, which served as the main weapon, with a muzzle diameter of seven or eight meters!

The group of naval generals were stunned at this moment!

Commander Liu Chengzhi, who was leading the tour, could not help but show off in front of everyone!

”Comrades, this warship is a new generation super warship independently developed by our country!”

”It not only has a massive displacement of one hundred thousand tons, but is also equipped with the world’s most advanced Nuclear Fusion system!”

”This system can provide a continuous stream of powerful energy for the warship, giving the longwei warship ultra-long endurance and high-speed sailing performance.

Commander Liu Chengzhi’s voice was loud and powerful, full of confidence.
