Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 127 Did Motherland nuke Japan? The Chief Petty Officer’s words almost represented the will of the entire crew!

There wasn’t a single coward on Submarine 304!

Not only them, but during the waiting process, Zhou Haicheng had also thought that rather than dying from oxygen deprivation, it would be better to fight Japan with a spirit of revenge!

There really was a nuclear bomb inside the nuclear submarine!

Although for the sake of the bigger picture, he couldn’t drop the nuclear bomb on Japanese soil!

But wiping out this bunch of guys’ fleet was still possible!

Of course, this might bring some repercussions to the country, but his direct superior, General Zhao Yong, had once told the soldiers of the Southern Navy: ”When our opponent is the US, we must take a step back for the sake of the world and the bigger picture!”

”But when our opponent is Japan, once you have the will to die, you don’t need to worry about so much!”

”Just do it! Leave the rest to the country!”

”Wiping out Japan’s fleet, even if it is a crime in the present, will be a merit for the ages!”

However, these were only possible options if they hadn’t made contact with the longwei warship!

Now that they had made contact with the longwei warship and received orders to stand by, they had to carry out the military orders.

Just at this moment, a ”beep-beep-beep-beep” sound rang out.

Zhou Haicheng turned his head to look!

He realized it was the timer he had set earlier; the time had come!

It was time to surface!

”Zhang Aiguo, go notify the soldiers, prepare to surface!” Zhou Haicheng said to the Chief Petty Officer, Zhang Aiguo.

He then ordered the operator to bring the submarine to the surface!

At the same time, he turned on the radar and sonar!

During this time, in order to maintain stealth, they had turned off their radar and sonar equipment!

At this moment, Zhang Aiguo was overjoyed and said excitedly: ”Damn it, finally, we don’t have to hide underwater anymore!”

”Captain, are we preparing to take action against Japan?”

Zhou Haicheng pondered for two seconds; he himself wasn’t sure what the situation was like above, so he could only reply: ”Let’s confirm the situation first.”

”If we really can’t make it back this time, let them go down with us!”

Zhang Aiguo: ”Alright!”

”I’ll go notify the soldiers and have them prepare!”

After saying this, the Chief Petty Officer hurried out of the operations room!

They would rather die than surrender to Japan.

If they could drag some people down with them before they died, that would be even better!

It would be a worthy death, and it would be worth it.

Zhou Haicheng shrugged, feeling that Zhang Aiguo had somewhat misinterpreted his meaning!

He had clearly said ”if”...

Perhaps in Zhang Aiguo’s heart, there were no ”ifs,” and they were definitely not going back!

Therefore, he subconsciously felt that they were preparing to take action against Japan!

Just as he felt the need to explain, the operator suddenly shouted: ”Captain, come over here and look!”

”There are many light spots appearing on our radar!”

Zhou Haicheng was stunned for a moment, walked over to him, and leaned over to look at the radar screen!

He was also dumbfounded!

He saw that the radar display showed an extremely large number of light spots in the surrounding waters!

These light spots flickered on the screen, like an army of fluorescent ants.

The quantity and quality of the light spots had far exceeded the depth charges previously dropped by Japan!

”What are these things?”

”They can’t be small surface vessels, right!”

”That’s too many!”

Zhou Haicheng felt it was incredible; it was his first time seeing such a sight on a radar.

Could it be what Chief Su Chen did...

He didn’t know why, but this thought arose in his heart!

However, this thought seemed a bit unreliable!

He didn’t even know what those light spots were!

If they really were small vessels, he didn’t know if they were friends or foes.

He thought about it; it was likely the enemy.

Except for the longwei warship, which possessed terrifying speed and could reach them in a short time, other small vessels, no matter how fast, couldn’t get here!

It could only be Japan’s small vessels!

And with so many small vessels, this conflict could completely escalate into a local war!

The more he thought about it, the more Zhou Haicheng felt that the situation seemed to have spiraled out of control!

Submarine 304 continued to surface!

During this process, Zhou Haicheng thought carefully!

He clearly remembered that before turning off the radar, he had definitely seen sixteen Japanese warships, including several ten-thousand-ton destroyers, and the depth charges were too numerous to count!

And at that time, these dense light spots did not exist at all!

The operator made another discovery: ”Captain, our radar can no longer display the enemy warships’ positions!”

”They seem to have vanished into thin air!”

This sudden discovery stunned Zhou Haicheng once again!

It was as if a complete reversal had occurred!

The warships that were there had disappeared, while the light spots that didn’t exist were now dense!

And!

”We only turned off the radar for half an hour... and the enemy has already disappeared?”

”Unless their speed is comparable to the longwei warship, it’s impossible for them to disappear from the radar in such a short time!”

”Or could it be that they have equipment to evade our radar and sonar?”

More and more mysteries emerged, leaving Zhou Haicheng completely confused!

He looked at the operator: ”Is there any obstruction to surfacing?”

He was worried that Japan had laid depth charges above their heads!

To prevent them from surfacing!

If that happened, they might really suffocate inside!

But fortunately, everything was unobstructed!

Zhou Haicheng ordered them to continue surfacing!

At the same time, the oxygen inside the submarine was reaching its limit!

He could hear the heavy breathing of the operator!

Zhou Haicheng felt a bit dizzy himself!

The oxygen was bottoming out!

The crew members couldn’t help but slow their breathing; some were almost unable to catch their breath!

But fortunately, before the oxygen was completely exhausted, the submarine finally surfaced to the sea level.

The crew, nearly suffocating, quickly opened the hatch to get out!

Zhou Haicheng took the lead; he really wanted to see the situation before him!

He took a deep breath, poked his head out, and scanned the surroundings!

But the scene before him left him completely stunned!

He rubbed his eyes, and after confirming he hadn’t misread it, he was even more horrified!

The crew members who followed him out, upon seeing the scene outside, were instantly petrified!

”Holy crap!”

”What is this situation?”

”Did Motherland Nuke Japan into oblivion to save us?”

The crew members felt as if they were witnessing a scene they would never forget for the rest of their lives.

The sparkling sea surface was now shrouded in thick smoke and dust, a chaotic mess.

Wreckage of various warships floated everywhere; some were broken hulls, with steel twisted and deformed, as if they had been wantonly kneaded by an invisible giant hand.

The edges of the broken steel plates were jagged, some still bearing charred black marks from high-temperature burning, like silent mouths telling of the catastrophic disaster they had just experienced.

There were also countless fragments drifting on the sea, from small screws and iron scraps to large broken cabin doors and mechanical parts.

These wrecks collided and rubbed against each other, emitting dull sounds.

The seawater was mixed with oil and blood, emitting a pungent odor.

Occasionally, one could see corpses attracting schools of fish to tear at them!

These were clear signs of a battle having taken place!
