Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Was Chapter 129 a nuclear attack? He tried to contact the other party via a dedicated line, but found that no matter how he tried, there was no answer!

Secretary of State Jack frowned, feeling the urge to curse!

”What the hell is this guy doing?”

”Is he dead? We agreed that the situation was urgent and that he should keep communications open at all times!”

”And now I can’t reach him!”

Secretary of State Jack had his assistant repeatedly dial the dedicated line.

The assistant kept contacting the other party until he had dialed about a dozen times!

None of them were answered!

Secretary of State Jack felt that something was wrong now!

”Could something have happened?”

He had an inexplicable feeling of foreboding.

Loosening the tie around his neck, Secretary of State Jack said to his assistant:

”Go and contact Japan’s naval headquarters!”

”See what exactly is going on with them.”

His expression grew increasingly grave.

Upon receiving the order, the assistant hurried to get it done!

At this moment, several congressmen came to find Secretary of State Jack about some business!

Seeing the Secretary of State’s expression, one congressman instinctively asked what had happened!

But he was directly ignored by the annoyed Secretary of State Jack!

They looked at each other.

”What’s going on? Secretary of State Jack’s complexion is so bad! Is he sick?”

”I don’t think it’s sickness; it looks more like something went wrong!”

”Just now, Secretary of State Jack’s assistant ran out in a hurry; it feels like something big is about to happen!”

”Could there be anything bigger than our fighter squadron being completely annihilated?”

They speculated for a long time but couldn’t figure out any results.

Just then, news came from the assistant!

He returned to the office, his face deathly pale, looking even more terrifying than Secretary of State Jack!

Secretary of State Jack’s heart skipped a beat, and he hurriedly asked what had happened!

The assistant took a deep breath and said:

”Secretary of State Jack, the situation seems rather grim!”

”Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro seems not to be intentionally ignoring our calls!”

”I just contacted Japan’s naval headquarters. According to them, the First and Third Joint Fleets that were dispatched...”

”Have lost contact!”

”Bang!” A loud noise rang out!

The Secretary of State slammed his fist heavily onto the table!

His bad premonition had come true, which made him furious!

”Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!”

”What on earth happened?”

”How could they lose contact out of the blue?”

He couldn’t understand it. He had been talking to Commander-in-Chief Koizumi Ichiro just this morning, and the other party was still reporting good news to him!

How could they have lost contact in just the time it took to hold a meeting?

Even if they lost contact, it’s impossible for an entire fleet to lose contact!

You must know that to ensure the revenge plan was foolproof, the USA had persuaded Japan to dispatch two fleets, a total of sixteen warships!

A fleet of this scale is a very powerful naval force even in the East Asian monster cage!

It’s impossible for them to all be destroyed in such a short time!

Then what caused this loss of contact?

”Go get the map!”

He gave the order!

Soon, the assistant brought a map depicting the target waters.

He spread the map flat on the table!

He examined it carefully!

He still couldn’t figure out what caused the other party to lose contact.

He felt quite helpless: ”We confirmed at the time that there were absolutely no Dragon Country warships within a hundred nautical miles of the target waters!”

”Even if there were, given their support speed, they couldn’t have provided support in time!”

”Besides, we provided Japan with advanced signal jamming equipment!”

”Logically speaking, the Dragon Country’s submarines wouldn’t even be able to send out a distress signal, let alone cause an entire fleet to lose contact!”

”Sixteen warships, how could they suddenly lose contact?”

The assistant reminded him at this moment: ”Secretary of State Jack, to be precise, our signal jamming equipment cannot 100% prevent the transmission of the other party’s submarine signals; it is still possible to release an extremely weak signal!”

”Of course, even if a portion could be released, the Dragon Country does not have the capability to receive and process that part of the signal!”

The assistant meant that the possibility of the Dragon Country receiving the signal and providing support still existed!

But it was negligible!

Seeing Secretary of State Jack still frowning, he suggested:

”Secretary of State Jack, the situation is urgent; I suggest contacting the Satellite Department!”

”Have them compile the data on the waters where the Japan forces lost contact and send it over!”

”That’s much more meaningful than us sitting here guessing!”

This reminded Secretary of State Jack!

So this time, the Secretary of State contacted the Satellite Department himself!

He told them what he needed!

The person in charge of the Satellite Department was a bit surprised: ”You mean to say that Japan’s sixteen warships have vanished into thin air?”

”That is truly an epic piece of news!”

”Don’t worry, I’ll check it for you right away!”

The Satellite Department realized the seriousness of the matter and immediately started checking!

After constantly adjusting the parameters, the satellite images of the incident area appeared before them!

As they zoomed in bit by bit!

Everyone in the Satellite Department was dumbfounded!

The person in charge was even so scared that he started stuttering!

”Quick! Quickly compile these photo materials and send them to the Secretary of State!”

”This time... something really big has happened!”

Secretary of State Jack received the materials and hurried to open them!

But before that, the person in charge of the Satellite Department suddenly warned: ”I hope you will prepare yourself mentally before viewing these materials!”

Secretary of State Jack was stunned for a moment!

He didn’t quite understand!

His mental fortitude wasn’t that poor; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to reach the position of Secretary of State!

Besides, these were just some photo materials!

He dismissed the warning and opened the materials!

Then, the next second!

He was completely stunned!

What appeared in the photos was an extremely tragic scene.

On what should have been a vast and tranquil ocean, it was now occupied by various pieces of wreckage from Japan’s warships.

Tattered flags, broken hulls, twisted steel plates, and shattered masts floated chaotically on the surface of the sea.

Those once imposing warships had now turned into piles of lifeless steel ruins.

The massive hulls were torn into countless fragments, some still burning and emitting billowing black smoke.

The once gleaming armor was now covered in scratches and dents, as if it had been wantonly trampled by a gigantic beast.

Silence enveloped the US Secretary of State, as if time had stopped flowing at this moment.

After a long while, he finally regained his senses and said in shock:

”What on earth happened?”

”Was Japan’s fleet attacked by a nuclear bomb?”

The scene in the photos made everyone in the room gasp!

If they hadn’t confirmed it repeatedly, they really wouldn’t have dared to believe that what had turned into wreckage in the photos was Japan’s fleet!

Secretary of State Jack’s mood was incredibly complex at this moment!

He even had a thought: could Japan’s fleet have been nuked?

Otherwise, how could it have turned into this state?

This was clearly the result of a very heavy blow!
